Exterior The most important reason why opted for Beat is its looks. Its love at first sight for me.Have chosen Green cocktail as it appeared the most fit for the beat beauty. Grill and Chevy symbol adds a much value and it sticks to its design philosophy - Beat designed on the lines of cheetah.

 

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Leg room is good and just check out for its little features like sunglass holder, coin holder, bottle holders etc..they are way above. Climatic control is uber cool and there is good thigh support as well. But what bowls me out is the ice blue light arrangement during nights. Having said that, music system is not upto the mark. Dont know why Beat sticked to have mini-USB which is way outdated and sound quality of speaker is poor(read void of bass effect).

 

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox I almost have come across the same comment from other users in different forums. It is difficult to judge in the idle state whether the car is on or not. Gear shifting is good if not great. Luckily, i am getting the mileage near about promised fuel economy as it seems to be an area of concern for every car buyer.

 

Ride Quality & Handling Superb is the simple word to say. It makes me to drive more.

 

Final Words Nice hatchback to start with for the first time buyers. Very good value for money and you will certainly make other eyes look at your car(i promise from my own experience). Just go for it!

 

Areas of improvement Back seat space and more service coverage. Also improve accessories availability across your dealers. Not much of an option currently even for minor customisations.

 

VFM Car, Looks, Ultra smooth Engine performanceNot much, Bit uncomfortable for 3 people in the back seat

 

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Interiors of the car are very good, dassh board is very big  like swift and ritz which is not suitable for shorter persons but for the taller persons it is not the problem.

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Engine is quiet powerful and fuel economy as i have purchased this car on 3/2/2011 and driven 4500 kms, is 17 kmpls on highways and 14 kmpl in city which is good as before the first service it is giving this average, after service this will definitely increase.

Ride Quality & Handling It is very easy to handle in city driving and highways as well ihave been to delhi from Plampur in himachal and i have achieved 135 kmph speed with no vibration at all on karnal road.

Final Words Greaaaaaaaat car and good value for money i have purchased this car amidst of i 10 and swift but i felt my decision was very good as i am very satisfied with this car.

Areas of improvement Boot space can be increased.

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox I m very much dissatisfied with fuel effeciency of my BEAT LT which I bought on 11 july 2011. Its very very poor. its just unbelievable - just 9 to 10 km/litre. even after continous complaints for this all year around i haven't got any solution for this. services for other things is very good but in case of fuel effeciency i m not at all satisfied. because of this I have unwillingly decided to fit CNG kit in my beloved chevy baby because it has become a headache & unaffordable for me owing to such a poor fuel effeciency. please do something soon so that I don't have to go for CNG kit. I would really be thankful to u for that or else I would go further with my this complaint as i love my CHEVY BABY very much as it is my & my family's DREAM CAR. I hope u will not disappoint me as company always says so "THERE FOR YOU, THERE FOR INDIA". TIME TO PROVE YOU SELF.

Final Words ONLY I WANT TO SAY THAT PLEASE SOLVE MY PROBLEM ANYHOW , I M NOT ABLE TO DRIVE IT FREQUENTLY BECAUSE OF HIGH COST OF FUEL & SUCH A POOR FUEL EFFECIENCY.

 The exteriors are the one with which anyout would get attracted to it,especially the front view,A good style statement..

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort)

 Interiors are good,seating is a bit low for the front seats,but comfortable,boot space enough for city rides.rear passenger footrest is also good..

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox

 Gr8 pickup...i simply love to race it...driven just 2000kms...clocked 140kmph on highways...no vibrations felt,there was intial problem with changer to 5th gear,but after servicing all gears run smoothly...Although I am not happy with the fuel economy....I drive to a maximum of 3000rpm and i get a fuel economy of 11kmpl in city with AC on and 12.5kmpl w/out AC...highway milege goes upto 13.5 with AC..

 Handling was not that great initially as i was new to the car,but gradually i am used to it and can judge it in traffic and crowded streets,pickup is no doubt great..

 Its a good car in budget with excellent features compared to other cars,service is also good...

Areas of improvement  

 Fuel economy needs to improve as petrol prices are also high,the economy plays an important role and need to be improved...

Exterior Looks like muscular,extremely new apart from other vehicles in the market.attracts its viewers.

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Very good color combination on the dashboard,driver seats has plenty of room, but less roomier at the back,not so comfortable for 3 seaters for full grown ones.but comfortable for the ones who ok in size.

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Engine performance is good,pickup is slow as it seems riding a 4stroke bike rather 2stroke bike,fuel economy is good due to such engine and gearbox.

Ride Quality & Handling Ride quality is excellent it does not make u feel tired even though u go on a long run,as being a small car handling is also very good,does not make u move much on seat. easy to minour as its a small car.

Final Words Final words intial buyers with family memebrs of 5 can priorties beat and den the rest of the vehicles,as it is a small car by size, which is very good for a city ride, and the most needs less parking space

Areas of improvement little bit spacious at the back seat where 3 members can sit comfortably.

Its exterior looks,interior looks,refined engine,good fuel economy.Boot space and rear sitting may occur problem on long run.

Exterior Awesum exteriors but feel that tail light is a bit wierd.

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) INterior is great a pepy car and the blue theme is very good.

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Engine is very good as the chevrolet is manufacturing the beat after jun 2011 with the engine with ecu remapped  so the average as well as the pickup mainly is 2nd gear is improved. Fuel economy is around 15-16 kmpl as I have drived this car only in city(new delhi) with ac. Some times the gearbox seems to be not responding but its olright.

Ride Quality & Handling 10 out of 10 no more comments on this.

Areas of improvement It should come with a big tyre base it will improve the ride quality and chevrolet should give the stock speakers some quality as they are good for nothing so after buying a car the main thing is to upgrade the rear and the front speakers.

Final Words Nice car for 4 I should say, Good leg room.

Areas of improvement  Could have increased the Bot space, and Ground Clearence, and Tyre width. Awesome styling, Cupholders everywhere, Nice seating position. Could have rated better if had those seat belt alarm sounding. The backdoor handle is a Unique. I OWN  red and its superb , I love my baby, its soo smooth.Petroll is best than Disel I should say, Disel makes Noise. Petrol you will never know what speed you are at unless u check the meter :)

Exterior Exterior looks are very excellent specially front & side views of car.If you look this car from front it looks like a sedan segment car.

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Dashboard is spacious and at a great height.comfort while driving for tall people is nice.leg space for front seats is much enough.you dont get tired while driving.features are excellent.i also advice to get music system company fitted only, its worth.overall very good.

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Enginer performance is excellent.it doesnt make noise while driving on highways at high speed also,due to its weight it has good grip on road.mileage is the one concern.it doesnt reach the figures which company has stated.i am getting mileage in between 13 to 16.

Final Words Overall a good car.its worth having it.not advisable for people who travels lot with family & carry huge luggage.

unique looks specially front macho,dashboard,driving comfort,leg space for front seats,suspension,rear seat space,booty space,rear look,mileage is a compromise

 

Exterior Sporty agressive look, Good headlamps, nice curves, 2 door style (recessed handle) gives many funny incidents to laugh.clean look.

 

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Spacious, Dazzaling cool, comfortable, luxuries even though its a small car, dash board is awesome, but you have to be tall!! Auto AC is a best systm as its make ride more comfortable.

 

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Engine noice is pretty cool like a sportz car when speeding, super silent at constant speed, graebox is hard but can fix by upgrading programme. FE is good.

 

Ride Quality & Handling Good handling on higways and in city too. thin tyers makes ride wobbly at high speed cornering.

 

Final Words Best buy for the price tag n even it BEATS the other 1200 CC cars. If you are buying small car thn atlst today there is no challenge to BEAT.

 

Areas of improvement Tyre and some features which are available in european market model shoud be introduced in Indian model.

 

Super silent, Sporty look, good FETyers, engine power in AC on
