Riding Experience. The best car in the c class segment for the driving enthusiast. I have driven the car for 50,000 Km and still I feel it to be brand new and refined as in the beginning in terms of engine refinement. Service and maintenance. Service and maintenance cost of Volkswagen car is very high. It cost me on average 10,000 to 15,000 INR per normal service for every 11,000 Km. And repair cost if any damage happened will be very high. Also servicing is not as easy as Maruthi/ Tata cars. This one requires specific tools which only the dealers will provide. Sometimes it can even take months to get a part replaced. Pros --- Driving dynamics ( you can comfortably cruise at 90 to 100 Km/hr without any effort and I have even taken 40 to 60 degree turns at 50 km/hr without any body roll). Gear shift is silky smooth and the engine performance is best in the segment in terms of refinement (I have driven all the cars in this segment). While driving we get good feedback and always feel connected to the road. Cons --- Expensive maintenance, Not suitable for rough drive, Ground clearance of the vehicle is very poor. So, if 4 normal people are traveling with average luggage Vento will struggle with almost all the bums and potholes. Unlike other cars during the journey if any breakdown happens local mechanics would not be able to help as and will have to wait for the service station to pick up. Suggestions --- (1) If you are going to buy Volkswagen I suggest you to always take comprehensive insurance. (2) Buy it only if you are going to drive the car because multiple car owners can easily depreciate the car. (3) as warning the resale value of Volkswagen car is very poor (4) You will have to constantly replace parts for smooth running which will cost you extra.
