It's a great product from the Industry leader VW..

In the past I had a Skoda Yeti. I wanted to buy something equally rare but strong SUV. After evaluating various options, I zeroed in on the Tiguan and I am very happy and proud about my choice. It gives all the comforts of Audi/BMW/Merc at a reasonable price. Compact but spacious, solid build quality, amazing safety features, sunroof, sound system, leather seats, good fuel economy, everything is just great. Power could have been 170 which seems to be the main hitch. Also a navigation system could have been there. Otherwise it is an amazing SUV with absolute driving pleasure, both on the highways as well as in the city.
