The one thing you look forward to when buying a German car is the performance and this car definitely will not disappoint you. Lets begin with the exterior, though the design is sharp and bold it will not stand out in the crowd, the use of low quality plastics does not help either. The interior could have been better considering you pay close to 20 lakhs on road for these cars, but yes it's touch disappointing, cheap plastics on the dashboard which makes a crackling sound throughout, and the seats are ventilated and comfortable. The sunroof could have opened a bit more. Coming to the driving experience, well German cars won't disappoint you and so does VW, it takes the bumps on the roads quite effectively, and the car can zip and overtake with ease. Even at a speed of 160kpm the car is steady and grips the road. The braking is quite responsive even at these speeds and you can feel safe while driving this car. Overall its a nice car to drive and enjoy on your long trips. The interior could have been much better and i would only give it a 1 out of 5 and overall 3 out of 5 for the car. Its just not the performance that matters but also the comfort but unfortunately VW fails to deliver that comfort that you usually get in anywhere in the Middle East or European models.

A Solid build car with pure driving dynamics. It has one of the best engines for under 30 lakhs. The 1.5 TSI has set another league in terms of power and driving feel. This car is a mini Audi for its price point

Lacks VW DNA of Polo, Vento, and Ameo.Upgraded from Ameo but lacks features of Ameo comfort line to Taigun Topline.Felt disappointed. Locking sound, one-touch window operation, key operated windows omitted in Topend models...I regret selling Ameo.

Drive around 3000 km first service done, mileage in the city is 8 and on highway with 110-120 speed is 13 which is highly disappointing. Car gives 18 mileage on a speed of 80-90 above 100 km. The engine makes some random noise which is not in other SUV like Creta, seltos, or Grand Vitara. Drive experience is good. The turbo in 1.0 lt engine feels like 1.5 lt power.

Bought this beast 1 year back and drove 11,000 kms. Worth each penny invested. Pros : 1. Excellent ride quality. 2. Best driving experience. 3. Best for long drives for it's comfort 4. Engine refinement was good Cons : 1. Service network to be increased 2. Takes some time for initial cooling during peak summer

I took a test drive as I am planning to buy it. I am not an admirer of petrol engine cars. Loved the diesel engine for power. But this car's performance proved me wrong. The power of this car is as good as the diesel one. Very comfortable car and a very good driving experience.

First I dint get any idea to go for taigun after comparing to other brand cars this is the best one. Maintaining about look n interior space. While driving i dint feel any tired or bored. If we maintain in good speed it gives good mileage. Overall its worthy to buy it. Other brand cars comes under the same price segment.

We have bought Taigun 1L comfortline and it is the most value-for-money variant, we got 4 tear-free service packages and the delivery experience was not that good, fuel economy is average of 11-12 in the city and around 16 on highways,s and rear seat space is excellent but due to bucket fitting seat shoulder room have become less, ride quality is good, handling and stability is excellent. Overall it's a good option to have.
