Excellent car with good performance and Milage

1. I bought 2014 polo 1.5 tdi Highline from procarz Bangalore buying experience was worst their service is really pathetic and they charge a very high price and they claim its non-accidental even if the car has gone through a major accident. My cars Clutch plate was gone to a certain extent but they dint bother to replace it. My car had run 55k when I purchased. 2. Ride and handling is superb it's very good. It has eps(electric power steering) it's light enough to handle in the city but weighs up brilliantly on the highway and the ride quality is awesome. It's neither very stiff nor to soft 3. Polo's design is timeless and it looks very good even though it's a very old design and even interior design is the simple and very good build quality is top class buying a used car and after driving 37k Kms there is absolutely no rateels and I have driven pretty roughly. Space at the rear is very limited it's meant for 4 people and it's a car ment for youth. Performance from 1.5 tdi engine is awesome. There is absolutely no turbo lag and after 2000 rpm it pushes you back to the seat. If you drive it sedately it will reward you with pretty good mileage. I am getting a Milage between 17-17.5kmpl in the city and 20-21 kmpl in highways which is awesome for a 1.5 ltr Diesel engine (90 bhp engine not gt). 4. I do agree that the Polo is bit expensive to maintain compared to its competitors but it offers superior quality parts. And vw uses 5w40 fully synthetic oil because of which servicing is very expensive. But u need to service your car 15k Kms or 1 year whichever is earlier. In my city the after-sales service is not very good. Pros : 1. Awsome performance 2. Superb build quality 3. Excellent dynamics 4. Good fuel economy 5. Unique features Cons : 1. Rear seat space. 2. Simple features like boot lamp, electric folding orvms and internal boot release button are given a miss. 3. Ac is powerful but Ford's ac is better. 4. Volkswagen after-sales service 5. Diesel engine is slightly noisy Conclusion. Polo is a great car meant for a small family. Before buying any used car please check the car properly along with trusted Mechanic
