If you do not have budget of buying Merc, BMW and Audi - buy VW GT TSI - it rides very much similar ..I've driven all of these! Automatic Petrol Rocket with 7 speed gearbox, super smooth ride and extremely fast pick up and torque. Mileage is around 19-20 kmpl on highway with AC on with speed of 80-100 kmph. City drive is 13 kmpl. Safety - Built is like a tank so rest assured. VW service in Pune is really good, fewer times they took longer time but the service provided was unbelievable. The suspension of the car on bad roads is awesome and stability at higher speed is too good. Boot space is very good. This is really a super car in 10-11 Lacs. Open bonnet and see Audi symbol on engine and other parts - feels good ! Cons: 1. Ground clearance could have been better, I have drove off road and it has bumped just once underneath and that too very very minor. 2. Space - consider this a 4.5 seater car and not 5 seater.

It's just first experience to buy a Volkswagen And after that it's feel like you are enjoying the Richie RIDE PERFECT BALANCE OF SPEED AND LOOK The engine makes me feel like a sports car just like you are flying a plane. It's pickup speed is too good to beat any Car in available in India in this handsome amount.

Polo engine is very powerful than other budget range car but it's servicing cost is too high and when I went to purchase Polo tsi top model they are not providing the thing generally we get from top varient of any car like touch screen audio player and keyless entry and many features .... .Rakesh sk

It is one of the worst petrol engine ever produced. old wagnor petrol engine is far superior than polo engine. Very pathetic pickup between 0 to 50km per hour. Rest of it is ok. It is not a drivers car for younger. It is for old guys who drive their car upto 50 km per hour.

Best Suspension. Smooth drive. Sounds like flute powerful ac. Luv it's drive very much. Not much electronic s. Best style. After 70000 km it has same Suspension as new. I ran in bad roads always.

The buying experience is good at all Vw outlets. The best part of the car is the driving experience and the build quality. Little push on the throttle and it car is ready to launch. In terms of Performance it is a fun car to drive on highways and even in traffic. The maintenance is little on the bad side due to part availability but if the part is available then the service is really good and fast IMO. Pros: Good car and built to drive. Cons: expensive parts and part availability.

I'm very happy to be a proud owner of Volkswagen POLO. I can still remember how many times I have reached out to salesperson on various queries and he addressed well. He gave me the best quote and made me purchase Polo 1.2 MPI Blue Silk Anniversary edition. Overall the buying experience and hospitality is great. Till date, I've covered 22k kilometres with superb ride and handling. I have even driven this on bad roads without any issue. I'm so obsessed with the looks of it especially in "Blue Silk" colour and performance is adequate for all times. After standstill move, it picks ups quite strongly till 80 and will be linear until 120 kmph thereafter no juice left from the engine but with hard struggle can reach up to 140 KMPH(not recommended for safety reasons). I like to drive this between 80 to 100 kmph speed. Service and maintenance is bit higher side in comparison with Japan brand petrol cars. Till date, I have two services (1st cost 8k and 2nd service of cost ~12k). Pros: Looks Ride comfort Pickup from 2nd gear onwards Superb Build Quality No rattle Milage (City 12-14 & Highway 16-18 KMPL) Visibility Well shaped boot which can accommodate weekend trip with two 12L water cans *Engine sound sometimes harsh but mostly industrial note. Cons: Service cost is bit higher Rear seat legroom is bit tight Spare parts are costlier (12v cigarette lighter port cost was 1.3k) and front passenger side AC vent >1.1K Labor charges are high I'm very happy with happy the car and can recommend others to buy.

Best hatchback Instead of buying swift Baleno and i20 go for vw polo. It's an amazing car. I20 consists of 1398 cc engine with 6speed gearbox, on the other hand, vw polo has a 1500cc Diesel engine with a 5-speed gearbox that's called technology.

I was looking for highly stable and safe hatchback. I studied, watched and test drove almost all the good hatchback cars in the market and finally decided on polo because of its build stability. I bought the car in September 2016, that's the time when Ameo petrol was launched expecting diesel. So, the offering 50000 cash discount for Polo highline variant. The buying experience was average because I didn't had showroom in my district so I bought it from nearby City so I had to do a temp registration then a permanent registration in my town for which I need to pressure the showroom to help me with the permanent registration. In last three years I had driven 45,000 kilometres out of that drove 30,000 kilometre in first one year and also did to paid services within a year. So simply driving Polo is pleasure. I drove extensively in Chennai city and to my hometown in highway I also drove in hills like Yercaud, Kolli hills, Coorg, Kodaikanal. I never faced any issue in driving, once you start driving this car you will always have thirst to drive more. Exterior: it js a standard hatch with nothing to complain. The overall German finish of the car is impressive. Interior: Basically it has all that is expected in this budget. Material quality is a level higher than other cars in the segment. Audio quality is good. I haven't wrapped my seat with leather cover still it is in good shape without any tear. The headlamp and wiper switches are opposite to other brands. So while driving other cars you will be confused. Space: One of the main disadvantage of this car is space. Anybody who sits in the rear seat will complain every time because of the low seat height and lack of knee space. Also rear seat is best suited for two, third person will find extremely uncomfortable to travel. Boot: it officer decent capacity to carry a family's package. Seat folding is awkward it's better to keep the luggage on the seat instead of folding it. Engine: 1.5 litre Diesel engine is a good performer. There will be an initial lag till 1500 RPM, post that it will be buttery smooth. But on the outside it will sound like a tractor. Gearbox: it will take some time to get used to earth because of the reverse gear position but after that it will be so easy to use. But when there is a speed breaker or large path holes then you need to shift to 1st gear because 2nd will jam and stop. Ground Clearance: This is one car with low ground clearance and the segment. Initially it will hit bottom of the speed breaker, after sometime you will find a way to pass it slowly. Suspension: it is too soft for normal roads, but on highway you will feel more comfortable. Combination of soft suspension and low ground clearance will irritate anytime on enjoying drive. We need to be highly conscious when the car is fully loaded with luggage or passengers to avoid damaging the bottom. Service: it has service interval of 15000 km or 1 year. Two main problems 1) not many service centres 2) service cost will be minimum Rs.12,000. On my second service I had complaint of steering vibration during braking, so they changed both disc and pad of front which cost me Rs.8000 for spare and more than Rs.1000 for replacement labour charge. Mileage: On average I get 18 to 20 kilometre on highway and 10 to 12 kilometre on city with moderate traffic. Pros: 1) well built German car in the segment (anybody will love the solid sound while closing the doors). 2) highly stable car, I generally drive 120 + in highway and it won't fail to impress any time i step in. Cons: 1) Poor service network 2) Costly spares/service/maintenance Add-on Note: I am maintaining all the expenses for this cars like fuel, service and insurance renewal from the day of purchasing this car, with my data I spent Rs.4.5/km for fuel + Rs.1.25/km for service + Rs.1.8/km for insurance.
