Exterior IT IS A ATTRACTIVE ROBOTIC LOOK.

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) COMFORT AT FRONT AND BACK SPACE LITTLE MORE REQUIRED

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox EXCELLENT AND NO COMPAIRISON, I AM 47 YRS AND SELF DRIVEN AT A SPEED OF 140 KM AT NH47.

NOTHING TO COMMENT ABOUT IT WHILE CHANGING TRACKS AT 100KM/HR SPEED BETWEEN VEHICLES DURING OVERTRACKING IS ABOUT  PERFORMANCE OF CAR AND ITS A REMARKABLE EXPERIENCE AND FELT AS WORTH FUL TO BUY.

Ride Quality & Handling AS ABOVE.

Final Words PREFERABLE TO A SMALL FAMILY WITH KIDS. TWICE MY 4 YR SON KEPT HAND AT DOOR JOINT WHILE CLOSING THE DOOR. NOTHING HAPPEND AND I FEEL THE SFETY ENGINEERING TEAM HAS ALREADY CONCERNED ABOUT THIS TOO.

AMAZING PICKUP AND GOOD BREAKING AND AC PERFORMACE DURING RAINY  AND NOT CABIT MOISTURE DISTURBENCE  AND FULL FRONT VISIBILITY, WORTH FOR THE COST.

Areas of improvement ROOM SPACE TO BE IMPROVED AND STILL MORE FEATURE LIKE REAR & SIDE AIR BACKS CAN BE ADDED  FOR THE HIGHLINE MODEL COST OF ON ROAD PRICE RS.735000/-

 beautiful and elegant, very premium, copper orange paint is very nice, bright headlamps, classy looks. No swag, Only class.

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort)

Spacious for my requirements, dash and seats are perfect, bucket seats are comfy, sound system is better then many of those xplods etc.the backlit controls gives u a feeling of a powerfull driver, you ve got the control of ur craft. Superior quality sporty steering wheel. 

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox

 Takes a little time if you drove diesel earlier, you have to learn to push the rpm before shifts, for me it gave 0-100 in 12 secs. smooth shifts.

Ride Quality & Handling

Steering is like a craft in space, smooth And responsive. Ride quality is good unless u have some real UP roads around. Not as better as swift but suspension is almost equivalent.  

Final Words

 Well at age 24 if you manage to buy your first car and have 7lacs to shell, go for polo, it really makes me feel like the money is spent well And a feeling of self actualisation. No match with any other hatch in 7-8 L range. I own a highline copper orange polo petrol.  

Areas of improvement  

 Well you get touchscreen console in european version,why not here? I have heard service related issues but havent came across any, coz i ve driven only 1400kms . Also a little tuning in the engine required so it can give a mileage of atleast 14kmpl in city. 

German Engg looks awesome, Allow wheels are great. front grill is best in all hatch back.

The most important is color which I like Red which gives the sporty look to my car.

Build quality for each and every part is good. Leather Wrap steering, leather wrap hand brake with great qualtiy are something never observed in other hatch back cars.  Interior is very rich and high quality material is used.. Music system with bluetooth is very awesome.

Fuel economy I get is 15-16 kmpl in city and 18-19 kmpl on highway  for my Petrol highline version. Even sometime  I got more than 20 kmpl on good highway like expressway. 

One cant compare the ride and handling quality with any other hatch back cars. These kind of ride quality you will get only in premium luxury german cars.

I am very satisfied with My my Red Color German Beauty VW Polo :)

No need of improvement as this is already proved that its World Car Of the year 2010.

I purchased a black polo highline. I love the looks. Paint quality is excellent. 

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort)

 Interior plastics, seat fabric, switches and knobs are high class. It has great fit and finish and gives a rich look when you are in it. I am 5'10", its comfortable for me.even seat at the driving position, I tried sitting in the rear, its not that bad , the way its tlaked about. Its good for car of this size.

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox

 Engine noise is slightly audible at low RPM, gear box is great, well positioned, short throw and slots well. 

Ride Quality & Handling

 A great car to drive, steering is fantastic and ride quality is amazing. Apart from this car, I have a corolla and Suzuki Grand Vitara, I love my polo. I can easily reccomend this car. Great work by volkswagen. Worth every penny. I feel my hard earned money has been well spent.

Areas of improvement  

 I see no areas for improvement. The best car in this segment.

Its been a week for my New Polo Highline(Petrol) and all I can say is, I am really enjoying the ride and the engineering. The ride quality is top notch and so does the feel inside the cabin is

Exterior: Great looks, smart, cool, confident and solidly built.in one word No Nonsense designing. The rear looks equally smart and with the tail lamps on at night, just looks even more smarter

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort): It is purely a drivers car. In case you are a driving enthusiast and just love to drive, destination doesn't matters.THIS IS THE CAR. Steering, Bucket Seats are just perfectly carved. The rear leg room is descent and has been improved from the earlier Polo versions and I think is more than enough until and unless everybody at your home is 6ft tall. The dashboard, music console and steering wheel is really plush.

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox: The power and torque of the engine is really good but sudden acceleration is not so thrilling. Once it hits the sweet spot you can really sit back and just enjoy the drive

Ride Quality & Handling: Tooooooo Good. Braking, turning and riding is excellently tuned and balanced. Most importantly I have upraged from an Alto hence the feel inside a safe cabin is very high. You would certainly feel very confident with this vehicle on road especially on highway

Final Words: If you are a driving enthusiast and are looking for aa car built with class, style along with safety features.....this is the CAR. From a pricing stand point it the highline costs way lower than the i20 Asta, hence can't even say that the pricing is tooo high.

Areas of improvement: Service network needs to be at par with Maruti & Hyundai is they really want to make a big impact on their sales in India

Exterior - better than most of the jap and korean cars bulky and roundy designs

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) - best in its class quality, space contraint for driver if you on the heavier/taller side. I still have not got the comfortable position to sit, keep adjusting all the time.

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox - Engine noisy and heats up the hud like a frying pan after only 10 to 15 kms, fuel economy average 12-14 without a/c in city and with AC - 10, highway not tested as yet however should be 14-16

Ride Quality & Handling - Ride quality is good, although the bumps in Pune can be felt but on curving roads etc i have more confidence than my previous car swift. 

Final Words : Go for it if you are prepared to sacrifice on power, pay high maintenance bill and low fuel effciency all other departments are good to excellent

Areas of improvement  : Power, fuel efficiency, engine noise, higher network of service centres, in pune there are only 2. and the manufacturing plant is only 60 kms away.

Exterior Excellent exterior, best painting quality.

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) There are almost all features available in volkswagen polo 1.2 liter highline model except rear parking camera & navigation system. The features provided in this car are very good and value for money. The quality of material used inside is also good.

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox If one drive wisely he may get more fuel economy, but I am quite happy after getting approx. 17.8 KMPL at average 80 to 100 KMPH speed with AC switched on.

Ride Quality & Handling Wonderful driving experience at highway specially the realibility and performance of breaks in sudden breaking condition at high speed.

Final Words Go for it... Dil se. Also I would like to thank Mr. Amit tripathi (VW Sales representative -Gandhidham dealership) for helping me to take the right decision.

It is value for money.

Areas of improvement In highline model rear view camera & navigation system to be provided as an option.

I am driving this car since last one year. I am in love with this CAR. I have been driving Santro, Swift for 10 years and trust me I never felt so relaxed, safe, comfortable while driving a CAR which I feel when I drive Polo.

Why did I choose Polo:

I needed a CAR with (Priorities as mentioned below)

1. Best safety feature

2. Best Driving Comfort

3. Premium hatchbak

CARs in competition were:

I20 elite/Polo/Punto/Swift(I already own one and still thinking of buying second:))

First test drive:

After first test drive, Swift and Punto were ruled out as they lacked driving comfort.

Now it was a tough fight between I20 and Polo. In almost every area both Car were neck to neck with I20 gaining more points and so upper hand.

I again drove both vehicles and this time for a longer duration, in different road condtitions (highway, city road, kaccha road, bumpy road etc) and in different traffic conditions (heavy bumper to bumper traffic etc..).

And  this was the time , I understood the difference betweem German engineering and Korian engineering.

Trust me, Polo's steering wheel was much more precise, more responsive and easy to handle(I liked its sporty design too as its flat at bottom:)). Polo was able to manuevour better on bumpy roads(I20 was also not bad though).
