    Exterior

    • Polo's design is timeless and extremely good. I personally do not prefer flashy designs like that of new elite i20, which gets outdated every 2/3 years.
    • Paint quality is top-notch. VW gives 6 years anti-rust warrany also.
    • Build quality both interior and exterior, the doors close with extremely confident thud

    Interior (Features, Space & Comfort)

    • Flat-bottom steering wheel is convenient to use
    • Stock music system is cool to my ears and provide usb/aux&sd card support
    • Big glove box, can accomodate an A4 sheet almost, without folding it
    • Both front & rear seats are comfortable with good thigh support
    • Huge 290+ litres boot space

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox

    • New 1.5L TDI is the best part of new Polo 2014, it is very powerful and being very economical at the same time, thanks 230 NM of torque, I think it is best-in-class.
    • I got ~26KMPL on a recent highway trip, as I maintained speed between 70 to 85 kmph speed (1300 to 1800 rpm), as it was in run-in period
    • Gearbox was little hard initially, but it got very easy after 1500 kms

    Ride Quality & Handling

    • Polo is undoubtedly best-in-class in this department i think, based on my TD experiences

    Final Words

    • Polo 2014 with 1.5L TDI is extremely well rounded package, with quality every where in every part.
    • Polo 1.5L TDI comfortline with both ABS & Airbags costs only ~8L. Where as Swift diesel with ABS & Airbags costs ~8.3L and that elite i20 with ABS & Airbags costs ~9L.
    • Commendable job by VW to make Airbags standard across all varients

    Areas of improvement

    • The egress from rear seat for elderly people can probably be better
    • Spare tyre should be provided in same size
    • Rear seat legroom is better than earlier polo I think, if there is possibility VW can probably improve it
    • Bridgestone/Michellin should be provided as OEM tyres
    • Provide Armrest & engine full under cover as accessory atleast

Excellent Fuel Economy, Safety Features, Superior Build & Paint Quality, Great StyleStock Apollo Tyres, Arm rest not available even as accessory
