Nice Test Drive.

 

Exterior I dont know if I am in love with the Grill or not. The 2011 Jetta lookes like an 1980 ish Mitsubishi.

 

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) The quality is very nice for the the pricing of the 2010.  The 2011 Is more roomy but VW had to cut somewhere. Look at the pricing between the 2010 and 2011. The Crusie control is more responsive than what Lexus has.  Sorry Toyota.

 

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox I like the get up and go of the Turbo Diesel.  

Ride Quality & Handling I have owned 2 brand new  3 series BMW's and it drives very, very similar.

 

Final Words I am a true Lexus guy but,  love "das auto".

Areas of improvement The lighting needs to be ;automatic, dual climent control, automatic. The knobs on the instrument panel need to go back to being bigger. You cannot see wheather the heat is going to your feet or face during daytime driving and if someone could just figure out how to make a front wheel drive ride like a rear wheel drive.
