Start of operations

VinFast is a Vietnamese company started in 2017 as a part of the Vingroup to manufacturer cars in Vietnam and sell them in global LHD and RHD markets. It broke ground for its factory in Chennai on February 2024 and is expected to start production in India by mid-2025.

VinFast range

VinFast currently has 1 hatchback, 3 five-seat SUVs and one seven-seat SUV in its range. These include the VF3, VF6, VF8 and the VF9. It is expected to enter India with a top-down approach and thus we will get the fully loaded VF9 to establish the brand before bringing the smaller models.
