Toyota Innova Crysta [2016-2020] User Reviews

Good looking car i was a huge fan of toyota before purchasing this car. But I am very disappointed after buying this. Before10k service i visited 4 to 5 times at service stations. And if you are looking for warranty then forget about it. Toyota will not listen your voice. So think twice before buying this..

I purchased Innova Crysta Silver GX (8) about 40 days ago and travelled around 1700 kms.

Exterior

Lookwise the Car is excellent, On one sight it attracts all people. Front bold looks and dashing rear is superb.

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort)

Very good comfortable seats, even I drove with 10 persons on board (My family and my sister family) for about 350 kms and everybody was feeling so comfortable.

All required features like Cooled glove box, Tilt and telescopic steering, MIS for driver, AC vents for all rows, driver arm rest, head rest for all passengers are avaiable.

Few features which are required but not there are music system (Can buy from open market), speed sensing auto door lock, charging port in 3rd row and reverse camera (Can buy from open market).

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox

It has three modes of driving Eco, Normal and Power, I didn't see any huge millege difference in each mode but pick up difference is huge, Normal mode is the best way of driving as it never lacks for sudden power and also gives good fuel efficiency, during overtaking and on hills driving, Power mode can be used. I am getting fuel economy of 16 km/litre on highway and 10 ~ 11 in city driving, overall it comes to 15 + .

Gear changing is very smooth, howerver, Gear changing ratio is too short as you would be needing to change the gears even in change of speed of 20km/hr to get good fuel economy, 1st gear : upto 20 km/hr, 2nd gear : upto 40 km/ hr, 3rd gear : upto 50~60 km/hr, 4th gear upto 80 km/hr and 5th onwards.

 

 

Ride Quality & Handling

 Suspension is also very good, minor pot holes never pass on inside the car.

 Nice car with good comfort with high level quality and safety

Areas of improvement  

Toyota could have been added 2 speakers for 3rd row (it is already having 4 speakers in GX), a charging port and speed sensing auto lock in GX variant.

Exterior Owning the top end model which has LED lamp that doesn’t function as a daytime LED. Which is common to find on a 5 lakh car and motor bikes now a days. Worried to find those daytime LED on the Liwa and fortuner, that doesn’t function on a 27 Lakh Crysta?? No LED tail or break lamps?

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) The interior is designed well with lots of Features, but in some areas there is feel of poor plastic which is common in Toyota. Crysta has a A+ on space and comfort zone.

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Everything Perfect other than fuel economy.

Ride Quality & Handling Best in the class.

Final Words Perfect car for a long ride. Not the show stoppers for the value. While cheap cars have a better approach and appearance on the road.

Areas of improvement Daytime LED and LED tail/break Lampcan give a rich look, especially on a top end models.

Interior space, Drive quality and comfortNothing specially other than the car exterior appearance.

Best in comfort for long journey. Engine sound depends on fuel quality. Performance wise it is best machine as compare to old innova. The interior of the car is just class and the leg room with the cup seats are amazing for the long journey.

I took it in loan and its a good car in all categories its performance is terrific but lil issue in fuel it takes i know 2.4 lit engine its normal and services cost also so affordable and speed is too great it toches about 180 that great for India roads and its my kind advice to all reading my review if you are planning for grab it before its price hike for our govt as you all know very well don't think about anything just grab it

Its a bit over priced. Legendary reliability. Good build quality and safety. low maintenance cost. good service. accessible dealer network. good design . Resail value is to the Extreme as possible. The centre screen could have been a bit more responsive and faster. Voice command works well. Overall a perfect partner .

We want to buy the car for family . The car is given comfortable seating and amazing performance. In this Budget this is a best long term car. You may go for it . If you have pets it give comfort seating to them too.

Best Car in World ....Most Comfortable Car.... In my words Innova is a 24 Carat Gold...... Just Love Innova .. Innova is a luxury car and is a perfect car for my family. Best car for tour and travels .we feel fully relax in this car there is no problem in this car . it is the best car in this price no other car can compare with innova.
