Toyota Innova Crysta [2016-2020] User Reviews

Toyota has to rethink about the wheel alignment issues in Crysta. Most of the customer facing this issue. In every 2500 km need to check the wheel alignment and adjust the tires. It is pathetic to have such an issue on this high value multi utility vehicle. Within 7000 km, tire thread was visible due to extreme side wear of the tires. Even after many complaints, no solutions so far.....

4. service cost was said to be 3500rs. But now they are charging 7500-8000rs which is almost the double. Service every 5000 km is very time consuming compared to other company cars. Actually theres nothing done in 5000km service, its just periodic checking which includes nothing which toyota says is necessary.We prefer toyota crysta as the service is affordable but it totals to around Rs.10000 per 10000km.

I bought innova crysta on 25/5/2018.it has covered 17000 & now it has started VIBRATING steering a lot as brake applied.it has lot of Disc problem.the new 4 tyres will hardly run 15000kms becoz of alignment problem ..very funny. not only mine but even my 5 friends who bought this car have same problem.Do something..Old innova is better than new crysta.

I am a doctor and I purchased my innova crysta vx on 2017 December..On Feb 1st I had an accident.. while going around 70km speed suddenly a two wheeler came across from a side road... directly hit over my vehicle.. everybody is safe including the bike riders except minor injuries.FIR filed and I have my copy. In voice for my vehicle is around 8,00,000.i have full insurance bumber to bumper.Eventhough company people asking me to pay around 40,000 extra for some steering work.. For just a two wheeler hit injury our innova crysta makes you to pay this much means you people can understand the build quality of this vehicle.. My suggestion for all new buyers of crysta please rethink about your decision...it's very poor quality and very very expensive..

Exterior The exterior is a debatable factor nonetheless it looks better than the previous car.

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Has good features such as auto headlamps with auto leveling, start-stop button, keyless go, 7 airbags(driver knee), ESP, ABS, Hill start Assist, Traction Control, three driving modes, LED headlamps, touch screen, reverse parking camera with sensors and soft closing boot.

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox The engine is a good 2.8 litre oil burner mill that produces 174 ps, it is a little vocal sometimes, previous car felt like it ran out of breath at 140, this time though the car can do 185kmph. As per my car I am currently getting 12.5 kmpl.

Ride Quality & Handling Good Handling, the steering does feel heavy at slow speeds but as you increase the speed it feels comfortable, the ride is pleasant and it eats through potholes. The brakes bite properly and they are spot on.

Final Words It is a good proposition overall and a bang for your hard earned buck, Toyota reliabl plays an important role with good resale. Yes, it  is a little costly  but worth it.

Areas of improvement As usual Toyota has cut corners with some features like No rain sening wipers, no auto dimming mirror and absence of LED brake lamps.

I WOULD LILE TO MENTION THAT ANYONE LOOKING FOR A LUXURY MPV SHOULD CHECK IT OUT THEMSELVES AS THERE A LOT POINTLESS REVIEWS OUT THERE... CHECK IT OUT PERSONALLY!

Superb ride quality, excellent Durability. The interiors are superb, good featuresNo rain sensing wipers, auto dimming mirror, no LED break lamps

Exterior Excellent style with LED fog lamps and auto head lamps and many stylish designs in the exterior segment. There are many accessesories available in the showroom.

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) 7 inch touch screen for the next gen innova crysta and there are 20 bottle holders inside- a big change in the new Innova.

3D type speeodometer and blue colour illumination inside the car. there is a start and stop buttton.

Automatic door sensing and a new stylish key. Automatic climate control and a rear a/c controller at the rear seat.

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox An excellent engine performence with 143 bhp (the old innova with 101 bhp) and the fuel economy is 14 - 15 km/l and a stylish gear lever. 

Another feature is that when the car reaches above 100 km/h there is no sound inside the car but the old innova had sound coming inside

Ride Quality & Handling Smooth riding and very good handling with the features like ABS, EBD and hill start assist.

Final Words An excellent MPV to buy

Areas of improvement Improvement in the gear lever, as it dances when the car starts.

Riding experience is very bad. Very uncomfortable n bumpy ride not worth to buy. Toyota must improve it’s suspensio n ride quality.other vise they’re definitely going lose their market shares n profits. Pick up n power is good but ride quality is very very bumpy please improve the quality of suspension. It’s horrible to drive on Indian roads. There are other car makers who are coming like Hyundai are coming with their products with very smooth suspension n very high quality ride . Then for Toyota will be difficult to survive.

Excellent car for budget buyers. Durability is the best feature. We've had it for two years and no problems except for a flat tire. Servicing and maintenance is also easy due to Toyota's widespread network of service stations. Drives very smoothly.

I am driving this car for almost 35000kms. Innova crysta is spacious, comfortable and a great cruiser. During my long trips, I could feel the luxury and safety this vehicle provides. Will definetly recommend this car to anyone
