in the present jet age we need everything fast. we need to travel at short notice and when the destination is not comfortably connected by air travelling by innova is the best option. it is very repeat very comfortable with no lateral jerks. the speed control, braking negotiation on curves is simply superb. interiors are also good with space for water bottle and book provided with every seat. there is enough boot space and even the rear seats have enough leg room. this car is more than its worth in price.

My one is a G4 7 seater done 34100 Kms. It is an excellent one...exteriors are superb with the reverse spoiler, and foot rest. The strip (sticker) is essential for a stop breathing of pedestriants.  Reverse senser is mandatory, as on rainy time as well as congusted area, you will be totally out of control to see what's going on back side. Interior, seats and all features inside are top class... Engine superb.  You need to reach the 3rd gear and reach a speed of 70kms, to u/stand the smoothness of the engine.... At this stage it looks the engine saying 'push push the accelerator to catch me'.....good car worth for money.

From my experience, use only Normal Diesel.  And if possible use only one Diesel pump (HP or IBP, whatever closer to you).  This will give you good mileage as well as life to engine.

Innova AC is called AC.... Superb cooling with split AC.  The last row guys getting inside the car at  a hot sun day, will feel cool within seconds.  (I had a 5 seater car before, where people used to curse me for no cooling effect on back side).

Negatives: Putting the feet on the brakes and pressing it keeping the legs on there, will not stop the car. Need to push the brakes.  On a normal pressing, it doesn't look the feeling of brakes!!   Don't know it's my problem alone. 

Shivering of steering wheel at a speed beyond 100kms.  Scared to drive beyond this one...somebody says tyre problem, but it is brand new....

At certain steep heights (especially on hair pin bends), feel lack of power with 7-8 persons, with AC switch on. 

The engine sound at 4th and 5th Gear with glasses up, seems to be so good to hear... May be becoz of the diesel engine... We don't hv to put it as a negative remark.

Otherwise it is a great car in it's class.....surely an eye taker as well as marvellous performer........

I have been using the Innova since Jan"09.  Crossed 15k mark.

I use it if I have to travel more than 20 kms one way in the city or outside.  It is very easy to handle provided one does not seek to switch lanes at frequent intervals.  It is difficult on your legs in bumper-to-bumper traffic.  However, one can be in first gear upto 15km mark, go up to 2nd gear till 30km mark, 3rd gear till 45km mark, 4th gear upto 55km mark.  Pick up is slow compared to petrol driven car  but once on the move, it is very good to drive.

Rear parking sensors is a must for parking. The tyres are nitro-filled and check the pressure once in a month. 

The last row is not comfortable for people when the car is at speeds above 80 km if the road is not smooth.  Otherwise, it covers pot holes (not craters) with ease.  

Overall an excellent family car and easy to drive particularly if the road is four laned and above.

Exterior Good design for speady vehicle.

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Super interior compared to other SUV / MUV in India of same segment.

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Engine Performance is good, Innova has got a great Engine, Fuel Economy and Gearbox is also great. No complaint regarding Performance and GearBox.

Ride Quality & Handling Its a Very much User Friendly Car in terms of Ride Quality and handling. Very Easy to drive in city as well as on highways.

Final Words Good luxury SUV, I used a innova over three years and I have completed 98,000 kms and now also its running like new car. Just general service for every 10,000 kms thats's enough. I would say innova is maintenance free car. Once you enter in the car the interior  feels great, and driving a car is very easy like a small car. You can't feel it like a diesel car. It feels the luxiary and comfort. Innova is best compared to its price other suv's / muv.

Areas of improvement Innova Should improve ground clearence and 4X4 Drive option. Any Other Car can Never stand in front of Innova.

Exterior Front & Back portions are mady by sudden damaging material, ground clearence is verry low, Rear view mirror should be little more front(can't see with out turn neck fully). Its wonderful;- More small laguage compartment are possible.

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Engine found no jerking /heating after a long drive.

Ride Quality & Handling Its really best for Long  distence journey, and verry sutable for induviduel use, right judgment for the road is much better than other cars/more over I have used Ford Escort then Tata Safari then Hundai Gets then Skoda Loura  etc but I could not drive a distance I had with Innova alone. Its really wonderful.

Final Words I have drove 15000kms within 4 months, I have drove the car Mumbai to Thiruvanamthuparam and back alone. Driven the car by speed of Maximum 120/hour, I have enjoied a milage of 17kms/ltr.

Areas of improvement Front and back portion of car should  by better hard and non scratchble materiel, Back seat after folding middle seats could not put for sleep/ it can make more compact or by shape.

 Good Space, Better Quality of Interiors if Compared with other MUV's, Perfectly Designed for Comfort

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox

 Engine Starter Noise is much hard if compared with Tavera , Initial Starting Engine Vibrations ,Fuel Economy is Good with A/C on Low Side 15Km/Lit-Constraint of Speed should be 80-100Km/Hr;Gear Shifting in 3rd is little bit Jurky if compared with 1-2-4-5-R,

Ride Quality & Handling

 You can't compare its ride quality and handling with other MUV's, ABS is quite impressive on L-R Turns, Specially during Turning on Slopes.

Final Words

 Overall you can use it as business car due to its fuel economy and Comfort.

Areas of improvement  

 Toyota Needs More Improvement during delivery of Vehicles,Tyre Quality, Front head lights and Rear Seat Arrangments can also be improved.

Toyota Innova is one of the best car for large families. I am having this vehicle from last 1 year, its great car no matter how u drive even on rough roads car is very comfortable. Toyota Diesel engine performance is outstanding as I often come from my hometown Jalandhar to Delhi (which is 380 Km) in less than 4 hours at speed of 140 - 150 km early morning or late nights. 

Only drawback this car is having is its braking system. As I am having G4 model which comes without ABS next to V model. I strongly recommend to buy with ABS.
