Toyota Etios Liva [2013-2014] User Reviews

I have been using the car since January,2013. In one word it's an amazing car. I have driven it 40000 km in my own hand and it's engine performance is superb. So far in my knowledge it was the best car in every aspect when I purchased the car. Though there are some cons just like related to interior design and low torque. I have experienced fantastic driving comfort .It is very specious and shock absorber is awesome.

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Engine perfce is Good. Fuel economy in the city (bangalore) is  very less it is giving only 12.5 kms & 16.50 kms in the long drive( Before 1st service and not driven more than 80 kms speed).

While Driving Cabin Noise is more and irritating to have. Insulation is very poor for the noice control. May consider for Rat mesh if LIVA to be a true indian car especially rural india conditions of the place & roads.

Ride Quality & Handling Very Good.

Final Words More or less satisfied with the car  Except milege. done only few thousand kms.1st service over. hoping to get a good support from the dealer (Nandi Toyot Kanakapura Rd.) / TMK - ??? and to get anything near to the promised milege of 17/18 kms in city.

Areas of improvement Ground clearance, & milege Good insulation for Cabin noise, giving small thgs like clock  & lock for the glove box.

I bought it in 2011, since then it took very less maintenance. Awesome RPM. Excellent riding experience. Feel good experience as always.. Excellent pick-up at any speed. Very spacious. Toyota music system is fabulous. Best value for my money. Servicing requires once a year. Cute and Stylish Car.

Toyota's Etios liva is very good and very comfortable car. I very much like this car. And it's engine is too good. And it's pick up is very good. I and my family is very much happy to purchase this car. Our experience is this car is very nice and best. It's interior design and seats are very excellent.

 fully comfortable and most spacious than swift.

 very good in mileage and damn powerful. i like when it gets speed 100kmph within 13 seconds. I really appreciate these.

Ride Quality & Handling

 Much comfort in ride and handle in so light that is good in traffic condition and at full speed it will very helpful. 

Final Words

 I used Liva since last 3 years. there is no problem occur in this and very low maintanance cost.

Finally , I thankful to Toyota for such a very good gift to me.After using 47000 kms , I just wannna say tht "Thnx TOYOTA ". If u want to buy such hatchback then go for this. And even New model comes with standard dual SRS Airbags , ABS,EBD,and some cool comfort features. So go for LIva. Love u LIVA. Its really impressed me.

Exterior

 The body is very strong made up of heavy metal sheet and ot doesnt get dented easily, the styling of the car also is different from other hatchbacks, the Totota logo looks awesome on the front.

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort)

 The dashboard is a little set back, the plasctic doesnt look that good and the meters are all in middle(thats disappointing) although the car is very spacious, the back seats needed to be more comfy, they lack head rest. the boot space is large.

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox

 The engine of LIVA simply rocks, it accelerated like a rocket, awesome fuel economy, the gear box is bit hard, and the reverse is next to gear1 but has has knob to move in to R, so not a problem.

Ride Quality & Handling

 The suspensions are good to handle moderate pot holes and bumpers, overall it provides a good ride, the handling is amazing due to the buttery delicious steering wheel, Trust me- i have never seen such a smooth steering wheel. you pinky finger can do it all..

Final Words

 Great hatchback to buy from totota, if u near power with FE all in one package, get it up little iced and the car will be simply amazing

 get the dash board improved with the meters on right side, include head rests and improve quality of seats.

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort)

 Space is very good and love it every time I step in the car. Seats are confortable and I dont feel tired driving for 2 hrs in a go. When supported back seat.

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox

 Engine performance is average (not very peppy )and do not give a feel of a sport car ( I did not expected it either :-) ). Engine noise can be heared in cabin when running up of 3500 rpm

Gerbox is not very smooth ( I read many reviews which say it is too good although) and is irritant sometimes but got habitual of it and dont bothe rit much ( being human learn to live with all contraints to an extent than we dont even realize it after some time). 

Ride Quality & Handling

Ride quality is good and stable. Feel stable at even 110 Km/hr ( did not drive more than that yet)

Final Words

It a good deal as a family car, high on safety, good space for family, engine tuned for efficiency not power,  stable ride quality  and good service of Toyota ( experieced it once during first service and was more than satisfactory)

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort): bad,
Interior, Floor mats, insulation of car for perfect A/c effect, Noise inside the cabin. Engine heat of petrol comes inside like Ambassadoor car. Door and door glass rubbers. as it vibrates.Door setting are very poor and even door rubbers which allow lots of dust inside.

 

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox: fair,engine is good. nothing else in this car.

 THERE IS NO ISSUE WITH EXTERIORS BUT DOES NOT REFLECT TOYTA STANDARDS , THE WORKMANSHIP AND QUALITY OF MATERIAL USED IS NOT UP TO MARK

Ride Quality & Handling : fair but noise inside the cabine.

 

Final Words: not a perfect car. after one year. No re-sale value. simply good for nothig.

Exterior Styling is good, but the strength of the body is not up to the mark. Any minor touch will make a dent on the body.

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Spacious car except the interiors are totally made of plastic which gives a lot ratling noise, which made me to sell the car.

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox No second word regarding engine performance. It's fantastic D4D engine which gives desired power whenever we need.

Ride Quality & Handling Comfort riding and handling. No problems at high speed. Good braking system.

Final Words Definitely can not expect such a car from Toyota. Now, I'm seriously thinking of going for other manufacturer instead of Toyota.

Areas of improvement Suspension is major area where Toyota must satisfy the customer. Initially they delivered car with a defective from suspension which was making heavy noise when the tyre gets in to pot holes. Later, when I complained to toyota service team, they replaced the front suspension, which was a improved one. After some time, noise started from the back suspension. I got an answer from the service team saying that, these also need to be replaced at our cost. I'm really surprised to know, how Toyota release the model on the road wwithout analysing these faults!!!

Instead of plastic Toyota could use some better quality materials for interiers.

Very nice and efficient engine - D4DVery poor suspension, total interiors are made with plastic. Exterier body doesn't have strength
