Great Buy, superb confort and driving pleasure

 

Toyota have their winner here. I have been owning and driving the Etios for more than 500 kms now and it seems to fly. Superb comfort and handling, smooth engine - I had read some reviews in the past that there is excessive engine noise, but after using it myself, I see that is not true in my case, or I have been an exception and have been  lucky to have a great engine. I once tried switching on the engine in a signal light when the engine was still on, that can give you an idea of how noiseless it is. The steering controls are cool too, apart from the fact that it is a great steering. Driving is very confortable as well. Easily fits in 5 adults. When I test drove the Etios, I thought the doors needed to close more elegantly than it did, but Toyota has fixed that issue by introducing a rubber beading, perhaps that's another reason why the insulation has gotten better.

I would definitely recommend this car, it's inexpensve (relatively to Hoinda City) - however giving the same/better ride quality. Any comparisons to the down and out Tata Manza, etc will only be done by folks that are unfortunate to have already bought and are stuck with Manza.

For about 8.1 lakhs on road, I feel like I have got all that I ever wanted in a car. (Just wast to let you all know  that i cancelled my Honda City booking once I test drove the Etios - saved 3 lakhs :)) --- Thanks Toyota.
