Exterior Beautiful looking car.

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Very good cabin space and boot space= best in its class , internal plastic quality is not up to the toyota name - its actualy bad !!  comfortable rear seat its WIDE. FEATURES are ok.

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox HAVE DRIVEN AROUND 5100 KMS - i get an average of 10 kmph in city and around 12 on highway , overall city driving is good , BUT  THERE IS MORE THAN NORMAL VIBRATION IN THE CAR WHEN THE ENGINE IS IDLE !!!!!!

Ride Quality & Handling Have been driving fiat palio before this - very steady car at a speed of 120kmph or more , but i am not comfortable crossing 100 km/h in etios . very low ground clearance-specially on highways =speed breakers kiss ur car!!  ONLY A CITY CAR  WOULD NOT RECCOMEND FOR HIGHWAYS OR RUGGED USE.

Final Words EXPECTED BETTER FROM TOYOTA , I THINK DEZIRE NEEDS TO BE COMPARED THOUROUGHLY   BEFORE U DECIDE ON TOYOTA ETIOS AND IF U CAN SPEND MORE HONDA CITY UNDOUBTEDLY IS A BETTER CITY CAR!!!

Areas of improvement WANT BETTER GROUND CLEARANCE, WANT A BETTER FUEL ECONOMY OR AT LEAST GIVE A CNG OPTION TO EXIXSTING AND NEW CUSTOMERS,PLEASE IMPROVE THE INTERNAL BUILT QUALITY AND PUT SOME RUBBER SEALS ON DOORS - THOUGH THE WATER DOES NOT COME IN BUT THE CAR GETS REALLY DIRTY BETWEEN THE DOORS AND AT TIMES SOILS THE CLOTHES!!!

Very good cabin space and huge room for luggage,very good exteriors,Internal built quality BAD,doesn't feel steady at high speed,low ground clearance,low fuel average

 

Exterior The looks are really fantastic, the fresh looks from Toyota Crome shaped all over, aerodynamic looks, the front crome grills is brillant, some what looks like Corolla from front view.

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) The Driving seat comfort is cool , you won't feel the tired ness on longdrives, the leg room at end is very spacious , three passengers can seat very comfortable , the middle person will have good comfort level. more leg room at the back , that was really amazing which toyota have worked on this time om Etios.

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox The engine performance is good with less noise in the cabin for VX-D variant . it lags a bit in 5th gear , but handing is good for the sedan.

Ride Quality & Handling Ride Quality and Handling on corners and curves on the ghat section is good.

Final Words Valve to money for a sedan , Toyota have brought good sedan at great price, other manufactures need to watch on for the Etios capturing the market soon.

Areas of improvement NA.

Good Fuel and Good Style for Sedan ,In comparison with Accent Etios is value for money.Plastic Quality is not so good Toyota should have work on this more .

 

Exterior The exterior look timeless and nice with balanced proportions, the smiling grill sets it apart from competition.

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Very convenient esp with space, ac vents, easy gear shift, The seating comfort is great and i drove my etios for my first long drive with no signs of back stress.

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Engine is very responsive, the stireeng has longer turn for a power steering, the pickup is great, The fuel economy is 10-10.5 i have driven it 2200 kms and all travel in gurgaon city. highway mileage around 13-14.

Ride Quality & Handling Great ride quality and amazingly smooth handling.

Final Words The compelling proposition at the price it is too good. the toyota bharosa and quality sets it apart.

Areas of improvement Mileage could have been higher with better technology like ivtec, engine sound can be slightly lesser than current sporty sound.

Great package of ( Styling, Utility, features,space etc) at amazing price with toyota trustsound of engine, rattling sound with the ac vent sometimes, fuel economy

Exterior Ok kindof look

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Spacious and comfortable in city only is guess but for highways rear seats are not good.

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Engine feels refinded,hopes fuel efficent if changing gears in time. at lower rpms.

Ride Quality & Handling Good ride quality I think for city driving and for occational highway driving this is a good deal. car suspension is well responsive soaking all the bumbs on da indian roads.i drove it at 120kmph it was a nice experince handling was good. Being a C segment car it feels dat u r driving a car of B+ segment no worries in city driving.but I guess without parking assistance u will feel difficulty in parking da car or while reversing u 'll hit soon.

Final Words Just a few checks with present owners n taking their response finally will decide to own it. But don't ignor it bcos of the look...see the value for money prospect.

Areas of improvement Should give a new speedo meter look. It looks so olden days car from the dash.

I like the cabin space,huge boot space....responsive steering.looks....

Exterior Its looks good but the back side, it seems empty, like some thing missing.

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) I own a G class and its Features, Space & Confort all good for a Place like LADAKH, on top of the world, I can only suggest to all my friends in and out side Ladakh to try the Toyota Etios, its really a value for money piece and I am sure you guys gonna love this.

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox As I already said its really a value for money for a place like ladakh.

Ride Quality & Handling TOYOTO, only name is enough.

Final Words Thanks Toyota for this nice car, but try to improve the interior and the back side of the car. As I am driving it for the last 5-6 months, I came across many people views about my car and what I mostly found is that all just talking about the interior of the car.

Areas of improvement Firstly and most important, Interior of the car, then the Back side of the car should be little modified so as to make the emptyness clear.

I like the look of the car, specially the front look.The back side of the car and the interior, should got improve.

 

Hai all,  I am Chamy, Vice President of a listed company. I bought my Etios in Bangalore Nandi Toyota. The service & delivery was good. I used to go to Chennai every week official, so there was an expectation of good fuel economy and a good rear space. Etios fulfill, both of my requirments. Though mine is a driver driven car,I don't miss to drive whenever Iam in high ways.It has a wonderfull steering response with a good road view.Iam sure,there can not be any other option better than Etios G for 6.5 lacs rupees.Certainly it is a economy family pack and worth for money. Above all,the pride of Toyota brand. There is a talk about interiors, I too feel the plastic used in doors are not in Toyota standard. Atleast, I could manage the upholstery by covering it with a synthetic leather upholstery in red and beige,which look rich now. Another observation is the noice of engine. I couldn't understand,why such a noice in a petrol engine? Other wise,the performance of engine and gear box are exellant.Here I must say about the Air conditioner,the whole car gets cool in few minutes,with the a/c knob in 1 point with minimum cooling range.The performance of air coditioner is really good.

Wonderful steering response,good fuel economy.Spacious and a convenient boot space.Engine noice.

Exterior The car has been built by toyota for Indian roads, Indian market. It is so indian that it doesn't seem to be from the Toyota family. The looks have been compromised to accommodate the prices they are offering.

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Speaking of space, the leg room in Etios is fabulous. You won't step out of the car with Tired legs. Also, the car offers all the basic and required features and a reasonable price. The interiors aren't appealing though. Well, looks are from person to person. But my person opionion is that the interiors are a turn off.

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Considering the indian traffice situations, the car has been made spacious and it gives good mileage. Of course to accommodate that, the car has compromised on the power and torque. The Engine performance is satisfactory and fuel economy on long drives brings a smile on your face.

Ride Quality & Handling No issues here. Smooth and comfortable. Nothing spectacular either.

Final Words Please buy this car in case you have budget constraints and looks do not matter to you. You will not be disappointed as the car is loaded with features and you will be happy with the comfortable and affordable drive on offer.

Areas of improvement Toyota needs to work on the looks of the car. Etios and Altis don't look from the same family at all. City and Civic, Rapid and Laura are examples.

Space, Comfort, mileageInteriors, exteriors

Exterior The exteriors are a way different from others on road. but either you love or you hate it.

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) The biggest advantage of this car is its interior space which makes four people comfortably placed on its rear seat.

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox The engine is good at low revs and provides better response on high revs. the driver feels confident while on high speeds. along with good performance it also gives good mileage.

Ride Quality & Handling The handling of this car is good. it provides great response of the acceleration and makes the changing of gears very rare.

Final Words It is the best package overall at a great price tag. it is fun to drive car and not a chauffer driven car. it is recommended for people who love to drive their car and enjoy the drive.

Areas of improvement The intrstument cluster on the interiors need a upgrade and more safety feature should be provided with it.

Interior space, performance, drivabilityLess equipments

From exterior car looks good its well designed especially from the side view it look like it belongs to a premium class. Interior is very simple, though center mounted speedo meter give you different feel you need to turn your head more often, in case of features please dont expect more but you wont miss anything what exacitly you need from a car, this car gives good space & legroom and well supportive rear seat won't make you to feel you are missing the arm rest and gives you comfortable journey. Same D4D engine which powers corolla is now doing on Etios, power and torque is not high but I will say its all only a number because you wont feel it inside or outside the city, it give you good fuel economy I am getting 19 overall and the gearbox quality is really superb. Suspension is smooth gives you good ride but hits in the bump when it is fully loaded, steering is very responsive and stable at 100. If you are a 4 to 5 members family and want to take them more comfortable with lot more luggage then I sure this is the one for you.
