3lakh kms as done but ac problem coming will coming always. But engine performance is good till now. but Toyota not changing digital speedometer till now in etios. That is a bad thing. Fuel economy till now is good. We already replace Ac unit 2 times. but the problem not recovered till now. Etios as stop manufacturing this year.

Exterior I love the way it looks. While it is not a headturner by any means, it has sensible and practical that you will never get bore of. I got the black color one and I swapped the stocks with 15" steel alloys and yokohama tyres. Now it grips the road like a boss. Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) There is ample of space inside, much more than Dzire, SX4, City and Verna. There are massive bottle holders on each door that can hold 1l bottles with ease. There is a super cool glove box that can keep your drinks chilled wherever you are. Practical interiors. Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox One of the best cars ever driven by me. I have the petrol version and it weighs less than 1 tonne which gives it an excellent weight:power ratio. This translates to effortless acceleration thanks to 90bhp 1500 cc engine. Gearbox feels like the one in new car and mine is 3y old. Toyota knows how to make best gearboxes and engines for sure. Ride Quality & Handling Very nice. While not as good as Honda City, it is definitely better than more expensive cars like Verna and SX4 that have poorer suspensions. It cruises at high speeds like a pro. That is why you see a lot of them in highways. Final Words After driving the car from past 3 years and 15000 kms, I am yet to find anything of major concern with Etios. The after sales service is very cheap ; cheaper than Maruti Suzuki. The car is as reliable as other Toyota models and you enjoy the prestige of driving a Toyota. Areas of improvement Make the tyres a bit wider for better grip. Still a better buy than Volkswagen and Hyundai where you get a very unreliable car with high maintenance costs (mine is ?3500/service).Best after sales service, peppy engine and interior spaceSuspension is bit stiff for Indian roads but excellent for highways

Hi, My name is Nitin and i am a harassed Toyota Etios owner with reg no DL3CXXXXXX. I bought an Etios GD in June 2012. The car has currently done 54000 kmsTo cut a long story short, I had gotten a full service done at 44273 kms on 16.3.14 at an inefficient dealer - Espirit Toyota at Noida. After driving the car for close to 6000 kms on my regular oil check ups I realised that the car was exhausting the engine oil very quickly. So I got alarmed and got it topped up. After a couple of days I saw that the car was giving out smoke from the exhausts. I immediately went to Espirit Toyota wherein I got a service done(53456 kms) on 21.8.14 and I was told by Abhishek Saxena, service advisor that it looks like some kind of a manufacturing defect and they told me that they would put the car under observation and told me to comeback after 5000 kms post which they would get it fixed under warranty. I was told this was a process. However on the 1st of sep,having driven the car for 400 kms and realizing the the engine oil was totally being consumed I went back to them and urged them to take this problem seriously. My car has been with Espirit Toyota since and after relentless follow up, I was told on the 12th of sep that my warranty had been refused. I would also like to point out that the service staff including Abhishek saxena and the service manager whose name I do not recollect were totally casual about it and non helpful as well. They refused to give me details about the TKM staff and asked me to only speak with the customer care. The service manager is a very funny guy and he said he has no idea who the TKM service manager was and that TKM guys would not waste his time talking to a customer. Then I was put on to a lady called niti nangia who is the CC person at Espirit. After 2 days she basically repeated that TKM had rejected my warranty. Even though the warranty is for 100000 kms/3 years and my car falls well within that criteria. Even she refused to pass on TKM details saying that she would lose her job for forwarding TKM managers details and told me to look up the website. Questions for TKM: 1 Why do you offer a fraud warranty when you are always ready with flimsy reasons to not honor it.? 2 Could you share data on warranty/claim ratio? 3 Are you guys too big to even talk to your customers? 4 I want my car fixed under warranty or else I wish to seek a complete refund so that I can buy a safe car like a Maruti/Hyundai/mahindra. All offer great customer experience by the way. 5 Details of your service managers who have refused my warranty claim so I can take you to consumer court. 6 I am paying EMI for a car which has been at your service center for 15 days - only to get an update. Who is going to bear that cost. I would like prospective buyers to rethink their decision on buying an Etios.NothingWarranty claims not being honored - pls avoid this care

Exterior  The Back side of this car is very boxy and not that appealing as its front, paint gets easily scratched and very evident as mine is a classic grey colour Interior (Features, Space & Comfort)  i wanted an ABS with airbag version and it is availabe in etios from the middle variant of this car Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox:   I was looking for an entry level sedan and zeroed on honda amaze, maruthi swift dzire and toyota etios, other brands where avoided because i didnt feel comfortable about the performance of those cars or the after sales services. i test drove these 3 cars: swift dzire: good car, but i hated the turbo lag of the diesel version, there was a huge gap in the rpm to hit the turbo on.  Honda Amaze: very powerful on paper at 100bhp, didnt feel so also poor steering and rough gear shifts let me loose confidence on this as i was planning for long journeys with my car. Toyota Etios: very comfortable, steering adjustable, seat height adjustable, smooth engine, one will feel the turbo kicking on, excellent steering, superior gear shifts, made my day happy in the end. (Mind you i test drove all the three vehicles in a day) Ride Quality & Handling Excellent handling, city driving just became a wow. When i was cruising on the highway (thrissur-ernakulam in kerala) i felt the car not giving a formidable response to my throttle, but when i looked into the sppedo it was @140kmph. gues that explains it all   Final Wordss  A good car to own, the etios diesel Areas of improvement    wanted an automatic climate control for the AC, looks, a bit stiff clutch  good engine feedback, good brakeswanted an automatic climate control for the AC, looks, a bit stiff clutch
