The front end of the Altis distinctly resembles the curvaceous designs of the Camry with a sportier demeanor. The new sedan looks elegant and sophisticated with traditional and pervasive style. It has a lower and wider body that offers a stable and more aerodynamic ride. Smooth flowing lines from the front to the rear accentuate a sporty design and feel.
One of the highlights in the new Altis is that it comes with trendy 15-inch, 7-spoke, alloy wheels that ensure a firm grip, better on-road performance, and trendy style. The top-end model of the Corolla Altis (1.8VL) comes with 'first for its segment' features like headlamp washers, high-intensity discharge (HID) headlamps, auto dimming inside rear view mirror, 8-way power adjustable driver seats with electric lumber support, and even cruise control.
Toyota cars always have had an attractive cabin; the Altis's cabin is eye-catching, user-friendly, and very spacious. Its ergonomically designed interiors provide driver and passengers with optimum comfort and feel of luxury. Steering wheel-mounted audio controls and MID switch allow driver easy access. Rear seat passengers can easily operate the audio system using a wireless remote.
Features available on the Corolla Altis include power retractable outside rear view mirrors; a spacious trunk; 60/40 split rear folding seats to allow maximum optimization of storage space; In-dash 6-disc CD player with MP3/AM/FM/Aux-in capabilities and six speakers; automatic HID headlamps with retractable washers; and air conditioner with heater.

Exterior
Overall, the design is quite evolutionary from the previous generation and keeps with the inoffensive design. A bit on the bland side in some areas, gimmicky in others but still bearable
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort)
Again the car has a very boring and typical jap(sorry japanese car lovers!) interior and the plastics have this horrible feel to them-but thsts where the bad news ends! This thing has PLENTY of space in the back and in the front and while there are some plus' like audio controls on the wheel and auto climate control, there isnt a single feature that sets it apart from any other car in in its class. The ride is fanatastic though.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox
This car is strictly meant for rear passengers 'cuz the engine, gearbox and steering all feel really dead and disconnected. Although the engine is very quiet, it doesnt have much of a punch(despite 150-odd bhp)
Ride Quality & Handling
Excelles in both profusely!
Final Words
A very comfortable and refined luxury cruiser which is very practical and spacious. Not much of a driver's car though. Recommended to people who dont drive.
Areas of improvement
PLEASE make it better looking and give us better plastics PLEASE!!!!!
also the car should drive well
legendary reliability, endlessly practical, decent ride and spacebland looks(inside and out),iffy plastics, dead handling

I own a 1.8L Petrol AT version & have driven 50000 KM in 4 years. Pickup & Engine response is excellent, although bit noisy. Looks great. Good to drive. Tough suspension for rear passengers, Good A/C, Good Music system, Good Headlights, Poor mileage in local driving, Cruise control works well, ABS work well. Leather seats are easy to maintaine. Maintenance cost is moderate ( Rs 5000 for general service) Brake pads gone in 40000 KMs. Get throttle body cleaned regularly. My car came to stand still during my trip to shimla due to non cleaning of throttle body whereas the car was serviced just a couple of days before my trip. Tyres are too soft for rough roads. Two tyres are replaced in 25000 KM running only, althogh I travel in delhi & surroundings.
Toyota should work to reduce outside noise coming in & door / body noises on rough roads.
Over all a good car for smooth roads, safe & value for money car!

I saw this car and found that they have made some handsome changes in Toyota Corolla. The car looks beatiful and is better in looks than any other car in the segment. As the length and wheelbase remains the same as that of Corolla the same is comfortable and should be best on road. However the car is overpriced ( Higher segment) and a diseal version in the same would do wonders in the market. Ufcourse it will be the first choice in its segment however after using Corolla for 4 years I feel that now atleast they should have introduced the Diseal Version. Even the Pricing is very high for modified Corolla though the 1st version costs you 13.5 Lacs in which we used to get fully loaded Corolla. Anyways its a good change in totality for the new generation. No doubt about it.
The car is anytime better in looks and better priced than its competitor Honda Civic or Skoda Laura.
Also missing is the Sun roof. I dont know why in India the cars are not coming with option of Sun Roof. Though Shockingly I was told by the dealer that he will get the same fited for Price of Rs.1 Lac which is exhornitant.
Considering the service record of Corolla i think this will be in totality good buy

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Engine is great, fuel is good in city and pretty good on highway.😊
Ride Quality & Handling Very smooth ride and it handles like a dream on mountain roads, and has very peaky power delivery. Its great to manouver in the city as well. I like the way people take a second look as it goes by and I absloutely love the way the engine revs. You get a sort growl as you go past 4000 rpm. I'have driven it 58000 kms and it still feels as tight as a drum.
Final Words It's a great car for a small family like mine just 4 people and a dog. It is very spacious. I think u should go for one if u like sporty sallon car and you go out on the highway occasionally.
Areas of improvement It does sound better than the old one and you do get a lot of kit and luxuries as standard.
Good style, good fuel economy, good engine and handling and space is very goodthere is no proper light for the rear seatsExterior/Styles

The review it selof suffice the purpose. However it is the case where the brain comes beauty. Which is not in general. The cars with beauty whether interior or exterior, may be first course of liking, and second may be of performance, The difference lies when the performance continues for years. The toyota the name suffice thi. The toyota way is what else can you give in exisitng model and not to introduce new one. MArvelous. Even after decades you can have easy availability of parts etc. In fact Value for Money.
