Comfortable drive, performance/pick up is too good and for this you have to compromise with poor fuel efficiency/poor milage. Service cost is affordable. Stability is good and very less sound inside the cabin.

I own a Corolla Altis 1,8 VL. I brought it at launch & had driven almost 9000 Kms since then. The Model provides all the features of a D segment car at 14.28 Lacs where as other competetion provides the same at 20+ Lacs.

It has a great Fuel Economy at 12 +kmpl in city & at around 14 + kmplin highways that too at speeds above 120 + kmph.

The rubber needed little fine tuning & hence i changes to Yokohama Decibel series which reduces humming at high speeds.

I am a proud to be the owner of the Car & drive self always.

Good Points Kinda Luxurious inside, comfortable driving seat position, engine is quiet and powerful, easy to steer in corners, economic fuel consumption.

 

Bad Points Tires are a little noisy, brakes aren't good(a little).

I own a 1.8G Toyota Corolla Altis (2011,Jan.) two months ago. I get to spend much time in the car and testing it. I feel the altis can be considered the best car in terms of performance in it's category comparing with other rivals like Civic 1.7 v-tec. On an up going steep road if you exceed upto 40 km/h a slight noise start coming from the tires like a rapid vuvuvuvuvu sound I changed the tyres after this and now i can say that the tyres are not good. It's performance is also exellent on bad roads full of cracks and jerks. Fuel economy is good with 11-12 km/litre in the city and 13-14 km. litre highway driving.Before you go out and buy a civic, I suggest you head for the nearest Toyota dealer and test drive the new Corolla. Chances are you'll agree that this is the BEST in it's class. If I were blindfolded I could have sworn I was in a BMW 3-series. In my country Pakistan I can surely say that in the total cars of pakistan bought by the people 48% are corollas even you can see a corolla after every second on the road! My final words are "corolla altis is the best as compared to honda civic".

Amazing car with great comfort, class engine, best leg room, descent rich interior features.It doesn't rush on road.Acceptable ground clearance,attractive in exterior looks and after having all these it's least to think about average in mileage.

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Awesome features. 6cd changer with 6 speakers adds to the excellent audio experience. Largest rear passenger leg room. Very spacious luggage compartment(can b accessed from rear seat also and one of the biggest in tis segment). Very comfortable fa long drive too.

 

Other Features Key less entry, electronically adjustable power seats, electronically adjustable mirror & electronic power windows. Disk brakes for all four wheels. Anti reflecting mirrors adds to safety during night travel, printed antenna for clear fm reception. General display & audio control on steering wheel. Wooden interior finish adds to its royalty. Chrome finish for door handles. alloy wheels. Tubeless tyres, automatic climatic control. Rear defogger. The multi information gives the detail about the avrage mileage,how much kilometer can the car go with remaining fuel,temperature etc...

The powerful engine offers an power packed driving experiance.

 

Final Words This car best suits for those who need comfort along with heart racing power worth of buyin for a royal driving pleasure.

my toyota car packed up in 12hrs of ownership,there were fumes from the a/c vent and guyz took 2 days to figure out whatz wrong with the car.coz i dont want to buy any thats QUALITY REVOLUTION  for u.

now im fighting with the dealer lakozy motors bombay to return my money back to me,but u know how it works in india they say we cant give u the money back,nor can v change the car for u the only thing they can do is repair the car for me.

but i have refused to pick my car up from them coz i dont want to buy a TOYOTA  product.im standing my ground that i want my money back nothing else will do.

corolla altis is  the best car in the world . it has nice features like cruise controll for relaxed driving and 6 speed auto and manuel transmission and best in fuel economy .etc. ......hum.....  I want to tell that one thing is not in this vehicle that I like is  a small display  LCD made near ac or mp3 player.And that should display whatever information it gets from the whole car and shows entertaintment and a USB port to conect my mobile and listen musics and SD card to store whatever i like to store. and i had given full star rated to your  car because ilike all the featuresexellent fuel economy,excellent style ,and excellent perfomance that ihad seen in addnothing

Exterior It looks so cute and cuddly from all angles, the best part are the front lights and the grille.

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Quality of interiors is very good, lots of sapce is there, since the height is more than other cars of this segment ( i don't consider SX4 of this segment!), the ease of sitting and getting out is really very good, the music system is simply awesome but very complicated fro me to understand fully, but the controls on the steering work really well.

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox I have driven about 2500 kms so far and the engine simply sings, its giving me an average of 10.5 in city and i am sure would give about 16-17 on the highway, which is extremely good for a car of thise size, however gears sometimes are difficult.

Ride Quality & Handling Its no hassle at all, its really smooth and for wahtever small stretches I have taken it on some rough patches, its handled very nicely.

Final Words A real winner from Toyota, much better choice than the civic.

Exterior The exterior has a Good Finish, its well designed and ther are lots of colours available.

Interior The interiors are nice for a compact sedan but not as spacious as the bigger sedan models. The front Seats are well padded and very comfortable with a fair amount of seat adjustment options. Even the rear seats are comfortable. The car has lots of storage space inside and also in the boot/trunk.

Handling / ride quality / Features We are happy with the overall experience. Its easy to handle and the overall ride quality is very comfortable. The Air bags are a good safety feature.

Final Words It is a really nice car and it gives the driver a very smooth driving experince. It is worth the price tag + toyota brand name brings some perceived quality assurance. Peope with all levels of driving expertise can enjoy this car.
