Exterior Beautifully crafted giving it the curved shape body, same segment as the porsche cayenne. Gets a lof attention when zooming by on the street. Needed a little more styling which the new shape touareg got in the year 2012.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Lacks comfort in the rear and lacks back seat features.its got a separte consol for the rear airconditioning. Doesnt have sun visors in the rear. Good built from the inside.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox MAD POWER 3.0 does pretty well with an v6 its got. Drive is very good when you sitting on the driver's seat, gives you the confidence to off road and to speed on the highways. gear box in the 1st and 2nd speed is slighty slow but in a span of 3 second the TOUAREG's TORQUE takes over the vehicle.
Ride Quality & Handling BAD, not reccomended if not self driven
Final Words Would have been an ideal suv if marketed well, delearships and workshops in india would be more equipped to handle this vehicle. VW INDIA MANAGEMENT IS HIGHLY RESPONSIBLE FOR THIS CAR NOT TO DO WELL IN THE MARKET. very few owner's but had to get rid of their cars as the service all over India is not capable to handle a vehicle like this. It requires maintaince and if your workshop is not trained well it can cause furthur damage to the car.
Areas of improvement VW india taking it slightly more serious with their brand image in india, being the importer for porsche and audi they lack in providing customer satisfaction in their own brand. shouldnt have introduced the car if they didnt plan to take the premium luxury segment seriously in india.
