TATA SAFARI HAS BEEN THE LEADER OD INDIAN SUV SEGEMENT SINCE AGES. THE STORME VERSION IS NOT THE EXCEPTION. I HAVE BEEN DRIVING THE BEAST SINCE LAST 4 YEARS BUT HAVE NEVER GOT A SINGLE COMPLANT.
LOOKING ATTHE INTERIORS OF FULLY LOADED VERSION, IT HAS ALL THE THINGS A BASIC SUV NEEDS. FEATURES ARE A BIT PRIMITIVE AS COMPARED TO A LUXERY SUV BUT ALL ARE MUCH HELPFUL- NO NONSENCE TYPE. THE INFORMATION AND AUDIO VISUAL SYSTEM IS VERY PRIMITIVE AND NEEDS REFINEMENT. ITS THE PROBABLY MOST SPACIOUS CAR OF INDIA IN ITS SEGMENT. RIDE QUALITY IS UNCOMPARABLE. YOU DONT GET TIRED IN SPITE OF DRIVING MORE THAN 500 KMS IN A DAY.
ENGINE IS POWERFUL. BEST PERFOMANCE IS FOUND IN AROUND 80 TO 110 KMS SPPED. VERY LIGHT AND ELEGANT. FUEL ECONOMY IS BETTER THAN INNOVA --14 KMS /LITRE. GEARBOX IS A BIT CRANCKY. BUT OVERALL NO ISSUES WITH THE CAR.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox IN SAFARI, ONE FEELS LIKE THE KING OF THE ROAD. EXCELELNT RIDE QUALITY WITH PROPER THIGH SUPPORT. THE HANDLING IS VERY LIGHT IN HAIGHWAY ROADS. THE RIDE QUALITY EVEN IMPROVES OFF THE ROAD- UNMATCHED.
THE TURNING RADIUS IS REALLY SMALL. EASY MANOUVERING IS THE KEY IN TRAFFIC AREAS.
FINALLY, ITS THE BEST INDIAN SUV TILL DATE. NO MATTER WHAT THE PUBLIC IMPRESSION IS ABOUT TATA CAR, BUT I HAVENT HAD A SINGLE PROBLEM WITH THE CAR TILL DATE AND ITS THE MOST COST EFFECTIVE SUV IN INDIAN MARKET. I HIGHTLY RECOMMEND THE SAFARI STORME.
INTRIORS CAN BE IMPROVED. BODY INTEGRITY CAN BE IMPROVED. QUALITY OF PLASTICS USED CAN BE UPGRADED.
