Exterior It looks good from far but the back side is really ugly upclose.Also the parts get dented very easily and are not at all durable.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) The interiors are not that great,and the dash board and the parts of space near the front leg are extremely delicate and a childs kick can dent them.But the leg room is good.and the belt fittings are very obstructiveVery bad interiors for small cars.everything breaks in an instant.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Engine is very noisy and shaky.
Ride Quality & Handling Ok to say the least.Ive already started getting problems like loose connection,shcks in the door and first gear problem.
Final Words I shud have put 1 more lac and bought an Alto or a spark.Really regret buying this car:(.Its a waste of money.
Areas of improvement Everything needs improvement.the interiors and exteriors need to be stronger.The nosie needs to be reduced.The car has to improve in every facet.

Exterior Very Very Bad Front View Design looks very Snuby design change to b needed ,But Rear View is Good,Engine Silencer performance is Bad.

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox 650CC Engine Not Enough to Car. Engine Power not Good, Need Engine CC and Cooling System to Improve. Fuel Economy is Good, Gear BoX need some Changes in its Position.
Ride Quality & Handling Ride Quality is Not Bad and Handling is good. Maintanence will be surely good n Cheap, since named to TATA Brand.
Final Words Eventhough NanO is very Cheap Car. People expectation is need car not only for local transport but for also for to travel long Distance. Camparing with 800 n Alto. Nano is Standing only for is Cheap Cost. Cant b able to Compare with Other Cars. Cars Front Very Bad Design feels NANO as TOY CAR. On Running Silencer is Making Noise n Dancing(Vibrating More). Need Design Change, Improvement in its Specifications. Two Weeler is Different with Four Weelers.

Exterior Cute shape better than "the smart car" in US.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Both rear & front seats are very spacious & comfortable . You will not be tired even you travel 800 Kms non stop.You feel better than a costly sedan.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Engine pick up is realy fantastic, you can overtake very fast after shifting to 3 gear.One must be in touch with Nano beforeHe drives the car and has to change his old driving habits like driving the car always in top gear. You have to change the gears for the maximum out put of the Engine & gear ratio.Nano is just like a Race Horse and the rider has to be trained to use Nano . Nano is just like a sports car and needs some techinque to handle the car and to achieve good mileage/pickup.I am getting 30+ on highways at average a spped70 Kms & 24 in city.

Tata Nano has Major Quality issues on top of that Despite of Gold AMC service center voided the warranty because part to be replaced was costly, reason given by Prerna motors Houser gate service center is second service of the car not done in time.
We had to visit service center every quarter for quality issues, they were small but It takes your times to go to service center in Bangalore traffic and leave the vehicle and go again in evening to pick it up. Till now they were serving the vehicle (Quality was very poor, I had two visit two times for same problem) as no parts were replaced. Today I visted to Prerna Motors housur gate service center for two issues first We started having issues with Brakes which is pretty serious 2nd silencer bolts broken inside as explained by mechanic Nano has design issue for this and it is common. Service center representative was ready to fix this without any issue and explained it will be under warranty. They replaced the brake oil and said car is fine and they will fix the silencer next day as mechanic is not available. But when I tested brakes, issue still existed so after anlaysis they found that a part has to be replaced which costs around Rs 3600/-. Now everyone went inside the office and came back again saying sir you have to pay for everything as your warranty is void you haven’t done second service WTF. I told I was out of country at that time and the vehicle was only used 2300Km in two and half years. Service center guys agreed that part was manufacturing defect but NO POINT IN ANY DISCUSSION.

Spacious Interiors, AC is Very good. Poor quality door latches/finishing around it. try using the Hazard Light button on the steering mount, you will have it in your hand if you put more pressure. No pleasure in driving a NON powersteering Nano.

Quite Good for its size. but, yes will not tire on the clean roads and highways at least for frist 80-100 kms.

Poor on bad or OK roads. Shock absorbers needs to be more active and smooth.

for the money we pay, the car is good. Anyday better than a 2 Wheeler. But yes, if you want to change it after a year or two, you get only PEA NUTS in the secondary market. Mine is an LX 2012 model (which i bought it from my friend when it had just done 1200 KMS) and has done only 13000 KMS. When i tried to exchange this to the newly launched Nano AMT, i was shocked to get a verbal quote from Aadhya motors, Hebbal as Rs.70000/- for the car !!!!! imagine, your hard earned Rs.240000/- 3 years back has gone down to Rs.70000/-. I understand Cars do Depreciate BUT definitely i wouldnot like to have a car that Depreciates like an apple falling from the tree. NO MORE TATA PRODUCTS, NO MATTER HOW GOOD THEY ARE, IF THEY ARE :-(

Exterior The exterior of the car really looks like a small wonder. the crease lines on the body, the headlamps and the tail lamps looks stunning.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) The first thing that I noticed inside the car was the huge cabin space. the car might look small from outside, but its really big inside. entry and exit is really easy and comfortable even for the senior citizens. Enough legroom for the tall. even the back seats have got good legroom. The 3 spoke steering wheel looks awesome. the upholstery that comes with the lx version does not look cheap at all.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox When it comes to performance, it does more than whats expected. it engine is a bit too noisy from outside but inside the noise is reduced when the windows are closed.the 4 speed gear box is smooth but it could have been smoother. The gear knob also looks modern. I cannot comment on the fuel economy right now as the car im owning is new and has just done a 100 kms.
Ride Quality & Handling The final quality is good . though the power steering is missing, yet handling isnt that difficult. parking in small places is easy. it has good ground clearance and can ride the bumpers without hesitation.
Final Words Before buying the nano i compared the car with alto as i had a budget constraint, and found out the the nano offers more for less. Besides the nano has a fresh look. I own a lx lunar silver and it looks stunning. im loving it and m proud of it.
Areas of improvement Lack of storage space & Noisy Engine needs to be improved.

Areas of improvement Left ORVM, Rear power windows, Rear wash wiper, Glovebox and automatic transmission is expected in LX version. Specially automatic transmission will be very helpful in stop-and-go city traffic. Top speed should be increased a bit more.
1900 Kms Update Gear shifting cable lock is broken and replaced under warranty.

Areas of improvement The total areas in all respects are quite improved and while driving the TATA NANO CX MODEL, I feel as I though I am just flying in the air like a feather. Each and every one who saw driving me by this model, appreciated and having the opinion of going for this model as well. It is a tiny car, which is having comfortable seating capacity and easy ride. TATA NANO has made remarkable wonders in the CAR WORLD by introducing this model, which is affordable by even a down-trodden and economically weaker section people in and around the world.

Exterior The car looks just awesome. I have a nano lx of sunshine yellow color and it makes people look around with envy wherever I go and it is taller then all the so called biggies like swift or I10. The color sunshine yellow suits only and only NANO. I have named it Noddy(character of Enid Blyton who is really cute).
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Very spacious as compared to Alto I10 Spark and other hatchbacks as well . Hats off to Mr.Ratan Tata for such an innovative car.

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Decent power to pull atleast 4. Basically initial gear torque is high for good initail pickup.
Ride Quality & Handling Runs quite smooth in 4th gear. Steering is small and handly. Maneuvering is easy in city. A perfect city drive automobile.
Final Words Great mileage(City 24 kms/lt - if driven decently, with proper acceleration and gear shifts) and (Average 31 kms/lt on highway. Driven at a speed of 60-70). I own a racing Red Nano which is an year and half old. My longest drive was from Bangalore to Agumbe Rainforest. Close to 800 kms two way. This journey was a close test drive on my car for its performance and mileage. I made sure I will drive only at a speed of 60kms/hour, mainly to check its mileage. Finally it gave a average mileage of 33 kms/ liter(Full tank to Full tank). Absolutely no hiccups all the way. Journey was wonderful. Nano is not car to be compared with BMW, Jaguar or Merc. Neither a car to be compared with Hyundai Santro, Suzuki Alto or a Wagon R. Its a car of its own grace and charm which as Indians should be appreciated. Driven 10,000kms as on 2011 Nov.
