in my & most of people verdict /opinion is that your tata Indicas are excellent in all kind
however your sevice stations are mostly in capable to give efficient service the cars are not serviced in regular time and specially they takes long time to repair the cars without giving any alternative option of transport, hence hey are ineffective which makes customer, unwilling to purchase tata cars.
most service station do not treat customer fairly and thhey are only there to have monthly salaries.
due to this most people are attracted to either maruti or hundai cars only due to service
mostly your wokers are taking lightly as there is no proper control on them
tata is one of reputed and oldest and national pride of our country however your workers are not giving services upto mark
if anyone is hurt through this mail i appolige for that but we like to see if tata cars overtakes maruti and hundai cars in sell
we will get more pleasure than anyone else without any profit we think only of tatas prosperity

Exterior Its good and aero dynamic.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Its spacious in seating.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox If you do regular oil changes at 5000 kms or 6000kms with castrol GTD oil your engine will feel good and you too.my cars fuel economy with ac on highways is 22km/Lt at the constant speds of 80km/hr.
Ride Quality & Handling Its amazingly good at high speeds like constant 130km/per hr also, amt stable.
Final Words Dont listen to maruthi and hundai and chevorlet owners because they will missguide you saying dont buy tata vehicles because it taxi.But want to say them illiterate people taxi is made by putting yellow number plate,see in some five star hotels they use mercedse benz and other branded vehicles as taxi means we should not buy that brands or what?so dont go on looks of the car see the performance of the car.
Areas of improvement Little more ps would be good, suspension should be improved.

Exterior is good enough in comparison to other cars.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Interior is also good and with acceptable standard.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Gives frequent troubles, cold starting is a major problem, engine gets over heated within a short run in the town, coolent tank gets busted frequently, poor spares have been used in the car. In my case a spare costing Rs.20,000 (steering rack assembly) had to be changed at 46,000 km in normal personal use (self driving).
Ride Quality & Handling Good.
Final Words Not fit for personal use, may be used for commercial use, after realising car valu, the car may be thrown out.
Areas of improvement Car to be made technically sound one, should come with acceptable standard with other cars in the market, if want to survive, particularly with Maruti Suzuki.

Exterior
I bought my Indica V2 DLS September 2008 II and has driven it 111000 kms so far. I like the car. But exterior design is very old. It has to improve. But rubber bedings and fiber items are having very good quality. Head light is very intensive. Painting is also very good.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort)
If you cnsider the cost of the vehicle they provide excellent facilities inside with that cost. compared with facilities provided by costly vehicle. Very spacious , can accommodate 5 peolple very comfortably.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox
Engine performance is ok even though there are some vibration and noice. There no complaint even after 110000 KM. Gear shifting is little rough when lowering the gears
Millage 18kmpl with AC(Average). On Highway 20kmpl with AC 22 kmpl without AC.
maintence cost is very low.
Ride Quality & Handling
Ride Quality & Handling is good again except the noise coming from engine & sometimes gears not changing smoothly while lowering gears.
Final Words
Good value for your money.Needs some improvements. Alternator regulator got damaged once. Tata can reduce the noise of the engine and improve the gearbox quality and add some of features to make it more luxury it can really beat any car in its class as it already has a great fuel economy and it low on maintenance too.
Areas of improvement
Alternator regulator , Cabin air flow is toards the face of the passengers. It can be little lowered to direct it towards the chest of the people. Engine Noise, Gearbox .

I bought Indica in 2001. The car was making screeching noise which the company or their service dealer couldnot repair. In turn they asked me to submit a certificate from ARAI. The cost of maintenance is quite high and also the service quality is below poor. Tata had no experience in manufacutring luxury cars before the year 2000. Tata only manufactured Trucks and Indica is nothing but a truck in a car's shape. I am totally disgusted with TATA and have vowed not to buy anything belonging to TATA. Maruti, as compared to tata is much better in all aspects. Now Tata is coming out with NANO. People should not hurry to buy it but wait and watch for the market reports. My experience is that the executives of Tata shamelessly refuse all the defects in their cars in public, though they know the defects very well, accept them in private. I can describe Tata Indica in word "HORRIBLE"

Exterior The looks are something you dont buy a Indica for. The car has been built with the sheer reasons of reliability . An ugly duckling but has looks that have not been replicated in any form. No other hatch in Indian car scene looks nearly similar.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Has lot of leg space in the interior. Though the car lacks in terms of having a good dash, but the rear seat comfort is everybody would vouch for.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Gearbox is smooth and gear changes are smooth and the car handles the city and highway speeds in equal stride. The Engine in sluggish in 80-90 segment . My car has electric fuel pump which enhances the engine performance . The FE is 15kmpl on an average. The breaking needs a bit to be desired.
Ride Quality & Handling The suspension is bumpy and noisy. It makes more noise than my sedan. Other wise ride is comfortable. Steering and handling is smooth.
Final Words Its a car made keeping Indian road conditions in mind, the niggles are typically the ones you would expect from a TATA vehicle, but the current car has improved performance now.
Areas of improvement Suspension, TATA Service Centre, Lack of ABS, Airbag otherwise a reliable Indian CAR.

Very good car for all purpose. Low maintenance cost if driven for domestic purpose. Value for money. I had brought it in the year 2007 and still using it. Very comfortable for Indian roads as well as city ride. Fuel efficient and good for small family. Also drove it from Jammu to Hyderabad and from Hyderabad to Bhubaneshwar because of my transfers. Was very comfortable and hassle-free. I love it. Worth buying. No complaints till now. New versions of the same are more good looking but it's my favorite.
