After 2 months of hunting I decided to go for the Octavia AT Petrol version. My new Skoda Octavia (2016) is probably one of the best machine on Indian roads. I bought the Ambition Plus 1.8 TSI, AT model, Silver, petrol which has everything except the panoramic Sunroof and navigation. I am more than happy with my car, no complaint whatsoever. Luxury, looks, safety, comfort & driving pleasure are at par as compared to other similar cars. Mileage varies between 10-12 kmpl in city and 18-25 kmpl on highways. I heard a lot about the servicing and maintenance issues from the dealers end but then I was offered the 4 year / 60,000kms maintenance package against nominal amount INR 40,000 - which to me is reasonable. In my opinion you will enjoy the ride with family & friends, not to miss the premium interiors. Best buy at current price.
