A gem of a car with a pure blissful engine to drive in this day and age. Where everyone goes for gimmicks and huge Panoramic sunroofs, if you prefer driving pleasure, then this is the car for you.
Had a very pleasant buying experience and one of the best care ever provided by the whole sales and service team. There were a few hiccups with the service from the dealership, but it was ironed out pretty quickly by the AGM of the showroom.
My family still complains that its smaller than my dad's creta, but I don't have any issues(at least that's what I would want others to think about the space available at disposal)
Simple outline
Pros
1. Engine would wow you. Both 1 and 1.5 TSI engines are very good along with their gearbox options.
2. Build quality is solid as it's expected out of a Skoda.
3. Drive dynamics are solid thanks to the stiffer suspension and the robust chassis.
4. Powerful headlamps
5. Excellent audio system.
6. High-speed stability is top-notch.
7. NVH levels are controlled to a very good level ( if stayed below 100kmph). My wife never trusts the speedometer in this car as the car is that clever with disguising the speed.
8. Boot space looks small on paper, but it's very practical and can fit as much or even more than a Creta.
Cons
1. Space in a rear seat. 3 abreast cannot sit without some major compromises.
2. Fils who are living in areas with not-so-good roads will swear that their Kushaq's suspension is broken. It is that bad on poor roads. That's for a reason, to increase high-speed comfort and stability, the suspension is on the firmer side. Compared with creta, it's a significant difference.
3. Infotainment screen was good with all features equal to Creta. But newer Kushaq's come with silly 8-inch touchscreen which is just functional.
Nothing more to add to the cons and in a simple summary - if people prefer driving dynamics, then buy a kushaq or Slavia or Taigun or Virtus or something German. But if you prefer road presence, then go for a creta or hyryder or grand vitara.
Ignore the harrier or hectors of the world though as they are not worth the price they demand.
