Exterior It looks cool, though not as stylish as a polo it is acceptable.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) It has got very nice features like a lamp in the glovebox and boot. All the windows has got one touch up and down. Some brilliant safety measures for women and kids when they are left alone in the car. Also all the doors dont open when we use the key to open thus ensuring safety of our belongings.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Engine performance is nothing to write about. But for a diesel engine it is silent and refined than in a diesel polo. It has gives excellent fuel economy when driven carefully.
Ride Quality & Handling Ride quality is very good though bumpy at certain surface. Better than polo in this dept. Feels palnted and secure most of the times but not as much as a punto do.
Final Words A good vehicle underestimated for being a skoda, I can tell you how good and refined this small car is. I am using it for the last 28,000 kms without having any visits to dealer other than for regular service once.

Areas of improvement Car it self has some problems, They have to improve the engine and service is worst. My car got break down and I have called skoda service and no response from them. I have spend lot of money for towing and I have waited for almost one month for repair very poor response from service centre. after this with month again some problem in clutch . I have changed the clutch plates totally till now I have spent more than 40,000K just for repairs aprt from this for serive so much money. They have to provide better serivce.

My engine seized while driving the car on the national highway. that was dangerous with a truck hurtling behind me. The car has now been lying at the garage which has since closed down. nobady wants to own the car from the company. They asked me to pay Rs.5.50 lacs to without giving me any reason for the failure of the engine.
Personally I have had a horrendous experience with Skoda India. And it has been more than 18 months that my car is lying their custody with nobody ready to respond. This after more than 38 mails sent to their customer care and 1 response. I have unfortunately had to send legal notice to get a response and even these have been conveniently returned. Haven't seen a more apathetic organisation.

Exterior The body is very heavy and well built.Driving in Mumbai Suburubs can be really painful and there is likely to be an odd incident where other senseless car drivers might bang in to you. I have had a couple of these since last one year but to my luck cos of the strong body contours and the robust body SKODA fabia has escaped the wrath of scratches and bumps.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) The beige interiors in SKODA AMBIENTE FABIA are the best.The cockpit console is super and the overall look and feel of dashboard is awesome.There is super space in the car. From comfort point of view,cos of the weight of the car and its robustness there is absolutely no exterior noise of traffic can be heard in the car. The seats are really comfortable and the back seat leg room is spacious .the door knobs and the power window buttons are made of good materail with super finishing, the seats overall are comfortable and the retractable tract is smooth in operation. The car all the models have airbags, a rare sight in any of the hatchback cars at that cost.
the AC is pwerful and the best designing for air flow so far.There are ducts below the passenger seat and the driver seat which gives the option of flow of cool air at the back.I think it is one of the coolest design offered in hatchback cars.As most of the cars have a air duct right in the central and blows straight on your knees.
The lighting is adequate and pleasant .The glovebox is well designed and serves the purpose.The retractable springs are fantastic and happy that they do not make any noise.The additional glove box below the passenger airbag is handy to keep few items and documents.The vents on the roof near the mirror are provided for circulation of the air to the roof.A super idea especially in humid place like Mumbai.Right no. of bottle and cup holders are provided in the car.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox The engine is 1.2 with 3 cylinder.It has 77 bhp a bit on the lower side but powerful enough for urban driving.Highway driving is fine as the car fully loaded lacks the power to overtake swiftly.But nevertheless it is more powerful then 4 cylinders of other manufacturers.
Fuel Economy is super. I am clocking 13-14 kms per litre at a speed of 50-60 kmph in city.In traffic situations with AC on it is just about 10 kms per litre.
The car generates a lot of power when the AC is off.One can surely experience it on the highway and the mileage goes up to 16-17 kms per litre at a constant speed of 70-80 km per hour. Gearbox is super smooth and i rate it 5/5.
Ride Quality & Handling Ride Quality is super as the shock absorbers are carefully designed and absorb most of the shocks. I beleive from handling point of view. no car in that particular segment can beat SKODA FABIA as the car stays on the road no matter at what speed.the car doesnt give you a feeling of risk at no time even at a speed of 180 kmph.
Final Words A TRULY, VALUE FOR MONEY CAR...MY SECOND CHOIC OF CAR WOULD STILL BE A SKODA.
Areas of improvement Provision for Light on the Back side.The cup holder on the back side central can be done away with as there are adeqaute no.of cup holders front and back in the car. It would give that extra spacing comfort for the 5th person in the car.
I have driven almost all cars and makes in all segments and me and my family are super impressed with the SKODA AMBIENTE but i see there is lack of marketing of this car and I beleive the dealers or the OEM should reach out to people . I am sure this car could be the top rated car in A2 SEGMENT.No car in this segment at that rate can offer so many features so why not go for aggresive marketing.

AC compressor faulty, service center executive do not rell you about it
Petrol version car makes so much of noise
Heavy rain windows does not roll down, the issue was not traceable ever again!!!!!
Not but the least BAD service they do not respond to your mails and do nothing about your concern.
My car is parked at "Continental service staton" mathura road for past 20 days and tservice center authorities, service execuitves at aurangabad they all do nothing about it. They do not care to provide the customer and alternate medium tot ravel since their product is faulty!!!! such harassment I have to face with these company people
PEOPLE DO NOT BUY THIS BRAND, I HAVE FILED CONSUMER COMPLAINT AGAINST THIS COMPANY

The styling is prerty good, typically like skoda's. its a subjective feature so nothing much to write.

Interior quality and build is fantabulous.
i have driven the octavia and laura each for three years and the interior quality is on par with them. Seats are very comfortable and height adjustment available on ambiente and elegance variants is a boon(the height adjustment was the reason me and my father chose the ambiente variant otherwise we were buying classic). It really feels like a big car from inside better than the i20 & ritz(by miles).
interior space is good and boot very spacious.

About 1.2 MPI: Its a good engine, not exciting i must say, but pretty good any how.
Power is adequate. Fuel economy is Ok. Gearbox feel is fantastic short throws are a bonus and give a sporty feel.In second gear if you put it early, the car feels underpowered, that also happened in my octavia(not in the laura as was an auotomatic) but you get used to its gearshifts(put the first gear a bit longer) and its really a joy to drive overall.
Ride Quality & Handling
since last year i have been driving mostly my dad's BMW 320d so the standards for comparision have gone very very high in my mind cause the handling of the BMW is uncomparable. even after driving the beemer i liked the fabia's stability and handling and that's a great compliment to fabia very very great. Ride is very impressive the car feels very solid on any road.
Final Words
See any how the bottomline is EVEN AFTER driving my BMW if I drive my fabia i feel comfortable and not out of place. That sums the fabia for me.
NOTE: No car that i have driven comes close to handling and acceleration of the BMW
in small cars fabia gets the closest but still nowhere near.

Fabia is a car with special features. It comes with a gr8 build quality and the car really looks good. Comfort and features is like a sedan and no discomfort at all while driving. In this segment this is only car with rear AC.
Comfortable and Study ride on highways while driving @ 130kmph, Rear AC vent.
I am very happy with my desicion for buying this car. Its cool ride. No maintenence. Value for money.
The fabric finish inside the interiors, the solid buit, very good Boot and Leg room. The height and Pull adjustable steering & SKODA Batch. Above all, I give importance to people who are sitting with me in the car. Their comfort is very importance.
It is a 3-cylinder engine. But don't forget to see it has DOHC which is always better than SOHC. So this is why the Fabia stands equal in performance to the other 4-cylinder SOHC cars.
I already feel the vehicle is the best in its class and has what we need. A little costly but always worth the money.
