      Bought the renault lodgy after extensive market research on MPV, i checked out mobilio, innova and ertiga but i was not at all happy. In innova i was sad with only 5 gears and the old design feels like a taxi, mobilio looks good and everything but it does not feel good on the inside, seems like a tin trunk. eritga was good but i hated how the last row seats felt, they should have done a better job on that. the windows for the last row are too small as well and the leg and head room is not sufficient. The three reasons why i bough lodgy was that it looked fresh, it has a great pick and does not feel heavy at all, it offers so much space that i was able to have comfortable business trips in this car and my family also fit well in it. It has a very good performance on and off road also it will not be a huge disappointment since it has a pretty good ground clearance and suspension. Go for this car if you want to buy it for the space, looks and low maintenance. Parking cam is also very useful and the media nav is a life saver.

      I had no intentions of buying lodgy because I was fixated on buying the innova. I however was swayed by a friend to take a test drive of the lodgy. Performance and engine wise lodgy is no less than the innova. I was pretty convinced and impressed after I took the test drive. My main intention behind buying an MPV was to ensure that my family travelled comfortably across town. lodgy was perfect for that purpose. My daily commute in the car is around 30 kms and many times it has more than 4 member with me. I observed that lodgy’s 108 bhp power from the dci diesel engine ensures a smooth ride even when it is at its max in terms of load. It has more than enough boot space has decent interiors which could be worked upon in the future variants. What set apart lodgy from innova was its 6 gear transmission and lighter steering resulting in a better handling and driving experience. This is an ideal car in the 10 lakh price range and it will not disappoint you as a family car.

      Exterior

       Certainly acceptable design. Why would anyone disagree that the car is prettier than Innova.

      Interior (Features, Space & Comfort)

       Quite acceptable and comfortable interiors, seats are like sofa.

      Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox

       The car has powerful and quite engine with no vibrations. Got economy of 15 kemp lover last 428 km of mixed use. 

      Ride Quality & Handling

      Firmly in place. The car faced two issues though- once skidded on a road which was water logged to some extent. My speed was approx 80. recovered safely. Second time, had the road scrape the down surface as one wheel had to be brought down to allow another vehicle crossing. 

      Final Words

       Satisfied as buyer. Feels higher end compared to a Maruti or Honda 7 Seater. Vehicle feels very strong and absorbs all shocks of poor roads.

      the car deserves to get more popular in India. Pulls up well with my 6 member family with no drags and suspension feels very solid. There is some struggle at very low traffic speed where down shift to 1st gear is required occasionally. Beyond 25 kph there is no stress. 

      RXL model seat quality is ok, not best. So will need to put up external cover.

      Bought this vehicle in Apr 2016, Since then I am complaining about the milage, all sales and service staff keep giving me ways to test the milage.

      Yesterday I took their driver to test the milage and after crusing at the speed of 90 KM per hour on a highway for 106 kms, I proved it to them.

      The technical incharge instead of accepting the issue started cross questioning me and driver and I took him for another spin across with his laptop attached to the car to MONITOR the SENSORS. Again the same results.

      Also every time I go for a service they add more problems than to solve existing, yesterday I complained that the rear camera is misbehaving sometimes, the person who repaired rendered the camera totally not working, and then the advisor has the audacity to ask me to the camera manufacturer for repairs, this camera was fitted by their accessory team while selling the car to me.

      No had any clue, the works manager and all keep deflecting my complaint and were rude. I expected a world class car from a world class brand, but it seems "Renault" actually care a damn for the customer.

      My Suggestion: DONT BUY RENAULT vehicles. AFTER SALES IS VERY PATHETIC.

      Exterior It varies person to person but i love its looks. DRLs should have been LED.

      InteGrior (Features, Space & Comfort) Good cabin space, comfor level is high. Ride quality, especially suspensions are impressive. Suspension are superior than so called market leaders!! AC is strong, ducts for all three rows. Adjustable seats is good feature. Music system is professionally tuned.seating position and visibility is noticeable. Often i drive 450km without any fatigue.

      Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Enginr is superb...silent and powerfull. Driving is a skill and hence mileage defers from person to person. Gearbox is smooth. I get 15kmpl easily with AC. Even clocked 18kmpl sometimes.

      Ride Quality & Handling Handling is easy. Since it is my very first vehicle, i learnt driving skills with this car only. Though more than 4mtrs in length, i did not find any difficulty till date.

      Final Words Awesome car. under rated but superior than its alternatives!!

      Areas of improvement More  Instrumentation required for 110RXL at this price or atleast manual configuration at the time of purchase or  upgradation facility required. 16nch wheels required. Spares are bit on higher side, compulsory labour part added by dealers on purchase of materil. LED DRLs are required.

      Buying an MUV was never in my thoughts. I would prefer the sedan over anything. But considering my big family sedan was not a suitable choice. So with a ponderous heart and reluctant mind, I stepped into a renault’s showroom to check out an MUV as I heard their MUVs are one of the finest performings in India. But the moment I encountered the car I was astonished. As Renault claim, it was truly a style quotient. The front metal grille, stylish roof rails and wheel claddings and topped with dark slate grey color, overall, created a stunning impression. Even Though I was reluctant to look for MUV as my next car but I was well aware of the engine performance of Renault. Their car engines are exceptionally great giving a driving experience like never before. Lodgy has Renault finest engine called dCi which is smooth in performance. Talking about the variant I confirmed after test-driving, The interiors of it were nice in appeal. It was spacious enough to make my family utilize all the space well without compromising on comforts. The ride quality and handling were smooth, I didn’t feel any jerks on gear shifts. The throttle input was quickest. Overall a great car if space, performance is in your thoughts and without compromising in design.

      Design, space, comfort etc.Ddn't get the delivery on same day. Eager to drive out.
