Micra Active-Synonymous with VFM

Hi. I have owned this car since 4 years and counting. I purchased the XV safety pack for 5.9 lacs from Ramani Nissan Coimbatore, which is maximum bang for your buck at a time when no other competitors were selling cars with airbags at under 6 lakh. VFM is synonymous with this car. I am getting overall mileage of about 15 kmpl(11-12 in city and 20-21 on highway). The car is reasonably spacious but 3 at the back is tight especially on long drives, hence tiresome. Ride is very good for a car of this size and handles excellent in city traffic. The steering is a dream in the city very lightweight and effortless with outstanding feedback. Performance-wise it is a peppy city car more suitable for the urban grind. Although I have driven it a lot on highways/hills, its USP is city driving. My variant has bigger R14 tyres which at the time was only available in the XV safety pack, therefore has decent stability at high speeds. I have driven at about 130, even touching 140 on a few occasions without much vibrations and instability. Cornering though, is an issue as has a fair bit of body roll being taller than competitors like Ford Figo. Therefore have to reduce speed at corners otherwise there is risk of toppling over. I found there is a bit of issue at times with the pick up at low rpm's (city driving) with AC on,so needs downshifting frequently or switching off AC. All that said, it is not really an enthusiast's car but peppy enough for daily city commutes, and fairly reliable on the highway, but without exhilarating performance unlike Swift, Figo etc. Servicing and maintenance: isn't very expensive to maintain. It costs me an average of 3-4k per service. Ramani Nissan Coimbatore made the buying experience very pleasant and till now I am not facing any major issues with after-sales service, even after 4 years. PROS:- Peppy engine, extreme VFM(2 airbags, ABS, remote locking, stereo,power windows under 6 lakhs), reliable brand value(Nissan), good build and decent interior quality, Ride and handling, high speed manners, steering CONS:- lack of storage space, cup/bottle holders, cramped cabin esp for 5 people, pick up with AC,small boot
