Exterior Design is good but it is not made for village area, since its ground clearence is low.

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) In lower version usb port is not available even though it mentioned in catalogue. In temperature more than 35 deg, rear passenger didn't feel cool, while front passenger feels more cold.

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox I have driven this car more than 1000 km and i am satisfy with its engine performance like no noise, no vibration, quick start.

Ride Quality & Handling Ride quality is good but it is not made for short person due to its very big dash board and no height adjustable seat

Final Words If you are living in city then its goods for small family. If you are planning to go outstation then be confirmed about road quality. I have tested this car on hilly area, river side, on road and off road from city to extreem village area and my over all experience is good.

3-Feb-2014 and my new Wagon R arrived in silver colour.. Highly spacious to accommodate family of four and loaded with features amazing to discover in such a price.. Blue eyed tall boy rightly said as it is tall and comfortable.. With an average of 18 KMPL it just rocked my world in cities.. and smooth to handle joystick(steering) and well calibrated gear knob makes the perfect match of power and results.. driving experience of few kilometers makes the Wagon R top of all with light and zipping drive without any tensions or wrinkle in mind..As of security feature, I-CAT will be doing the finest work on my behalf with adjustable feature of security level i.e. I can customize the security (not in any review) Only I miss is remote control of the music system.. but that ll be demanding side of mine.. boot space is decent and makes up with rear seat folding option and tall size provide the comfort of stacking above easily....amazingly surprised with its turning radius...and traffic situation handling ease..the wide view and steering  makes it butter to cut every corner and find tiny gaps to escape traffics.. Practically I had left no stone unturned to seek the pros and cons of this vehicle before purchasing and always concluded with the decision I finally took...I loved my beauty with brains and ll love to be called as proud owner of the same...

I drove WagonR 80K KMS.I changed only rear suspension front bushes and Clutcb plate which is imp to change at 40k.Car is best in city no challenge. But for stability get 155/65 tyre profile for making height 2 inch smaller and get Shell fuel only. If possible get 165/65 Tyres then it becomes Small SUV.Else it is risky to cross 100 on 145 size tyres. Zero(10k) maintenance in 8 years.

This car is so comfortable while sitting but engine of the car is not so powerful and turning radius is also not good, features are not up to the mark as compared to other car in this segment. Service and maintaince Is low but look is good. If any body want to buy this for town and small distance then go for it.. Thanks..

 

Exterior Better exterior than old one, curved shape and nice look of front headlamps.

 

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Improved space, good looking dashboard, luxurios, sutable for tall person. Easy entry & exit , thanks for height and door design. Wide viewing angle from front glass (easy judgement in traffic).

 

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox K series engine - Note that it is 1.0 engine, it is having 3 cylenders only, but gives you power of 68  ps (old one 64 ps), also it is light weight, so all over good fuel economy.

Ride Quality & Handling

 Very good driving comfort, smooth handelling, smooth gear shifts. As ground clearnce is more suitable for rural roads. Believe me because of this ground clearnece i escaped from crashing a front bumper of my new car. (honestly it was my mistake but ground clearnce saved my car from any kind of damage), low maintainence cost. good service and network. Less cost of spare parts.

 

Final Words A very good family car, with space, fuel economy, in affordable price, good looking. Buy it with happiness and no worries in mind. Rest leave on Maruti.

 

Areas of improvement I am not mechanical/automobile expert, but may be because of its shape (height), car vowels at high speed. Anyways I need not to worry as experts designed this. Also with AC on, it sucks the pickup. But again it might be because of its 1.0 engine and a body wieght proportion. You will not get 100% perfect car, but if you are getting 95% of it, ignore 5% - ("Khuch pane ke liye kuch khona bhi padta hai).

Exterior Cool new look definitely out of the old box look. Dual colour silver roof rails looks good, The chrome WagonR on the back gives a SUV kinda feel.

 

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Very Spacious, big seats very comfortable. Wide back seat comfortably adjusts 3 people. Cool dual tone upholestery.

 

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox People who are looking for family car I dont think they want car who goes 300kph so at a top speed of 140kph, Power is good, 17-18 kmpl with ac is quite good, new K-series engine definitely very smooth with smart cable gear shifting. Wide opening doors makes it easy for everyone get inside including your grand parents.

 

Ride Quality & Handling Dash board height make it little difficult to jugde while driving. But handling is really smooth. Good urning radius.

Areas of improvement Needs more Boot Space and if dash board height can lowered they driving it ll be great fun too.

Exterior Good to look at, eye catching, out of the soap bar design. killer with sunroof and alloys. very light body work easy dents.

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Best in it class fetures, ample space, good seats & sound system. remote and subwoofer missing. keep gussing with the fuel gauge. poor wipers, no ashtray, tilt steering for the namesake only.

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Unbeliveable 17+ on highway with ac and 15 in city with ac,poorly powered, ac sluggish at low rpm or 2nd gear. power at higher rpm 3000+, smooth gears, damn reasonable to maintain. poor wipers and water spasher.

Ride Quality & Handling Wonderful drive quality and noise level.  every thing looks fine after 10,000 kms.

Final Words 3 cousins have bought it after me in dec 10. better than a i10 or santro or figo. have all 3 in family. easy to maintain. some ass broke one rear light and passenger side window glass cost to replace rs. 999 for light and 950 glass including labour. i m impressed. no car would give these features at this price. Auto ac would have done the trick but thts fine.

Areas of improvement Ac and power level. if could reduce the hight a bit, too tall, would help with handling as well. plz arrange for an ashtray to complete intirior.

cheap spares, fuel economy,resale value, interior and spacebuild quality, low on power, to tall for average indian, no ash tray.

Exterior is good, elegant. I like the Wagon-R model and continue to like it. New Wagon-R looks more elegant.

 

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort)

 Seat cover could be better, less options in dash-board. OVRM is getting tougher to use since it needs to be altered att times.  Engine is good, close to 13Kmpl within city and OK gearbox (at times rear gear is not locking properly). Clutch is at times free but the service center folks says it is what prescribed by Maruti.

 Good. Nice manuvering and good handling feel.

 A good family car for a small family.

 The audio player given with VXI model is very bad. Needs to be improvided.

Exterior Bit Ok for now. I like blue eyes specially in this model. Crome plated WAGON R is appealing and it looks very nice. Still , little more work can be done to make it look bold and manly.

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Some arrangement to keep mobile and some handy stuff should be included. May be on drivers door side.

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Fuel economy is a bit Ok, but can be improved than existing one. Now a days small cars are coming with very good milage so it will be tough for Wagon R to maintain its reputation.

Areas of improvement Exterier look to be more bold and appealing and dashboard can be more attractive.

Height and comfort is very good for a person with more than height 5'10.Look can be improved a bit to make it look stronger and manly.
