I have got a vdi swift  my experince is so far pleasant being a diesel car the performace of the car is as good as the petrol the car zooms up once it reaches 3500 rpm on the 3rd gear and the highest speed touched by myself personely is 170klph the average which i get in city is approximately 2.85paisa a kilometere it is a best buy in this segment and value for money as well the styling of the car is also liked by all just one thing that i am  unhappy with the company is that they could have provided tubeless tyres

the performance of the car is mind blowinginterior coul have been better

All in one small families car is maurti suzuki swift and it got lot of award from last year and so many awards for car of the year

Good design and car of the yearnothing to say

Just like its name Swift is a car which is extremely swift. Like the style is extremely fascinating and amazing. Its looks are superb and it looks really stylish. So looks wise it is the best car in the small family car category. Fuel economy on city road may be a disadvantage this car possess but on highways its got a fuel economy which is unbelievable. Also for a family of five this car is heaven. Especially for long drives. Its very comfortable and spacious. The A/C is excellent and provides instant cooling. Its like gliding when we are driving this car. Without any doubts and any near contender Swift excells as the small family car.

Style and performancefuel economy in city roads

I have driven Swift Diesel and petrol as well.. i love the thing that untill specifically told, you won't find any difference[during pickup untill u cross 2000 rpm] b/w both the cars.. the swift runs.. swiftly.. it's amazing to press the accelerator.. and.. zoooooooom you go...  The difference comes up wen TURBOCHARGERS come into play in the diesel variant..

And i tell you.. do believe me if u haven't driven it yet[u are seriously missing something really big if you love cars] it accelerates like a power house jet after 2000+ rpm...

Great job done Maruti people.. SURUDOII..[That is Intelligent (Here i'm relating it to work done by them) in Japanese Language]😎

My first car, Maruti Suzuki Omni which has proven itself as a work horse. It has transported even ten adults at the time of need and most of my luggage requirements without bothering about the size of the consignment. It never let me down at a wrong place and still going strong after coverin 1,35.000 kms in last 12 years. This made me choose my second car from Maruti Suzuki.

My second car is Swift Dzire. I am comfertavble with the vehicle as a family car. Happy with its styling and boot space for long holiday trip and even for city drive. It is too early for me to comment on its performance. I think like my Omni, on its long run it will prove itself.

I chose this car after going through multiple test drives of several second hand and Brand  
 New cars 
based on test drive experience, product features, market feedback and finance options. I was lucky to get delivery within 3 days, as most people wait for upto 8 weeks to get delivery of their desired color. This car was just waiting there for me it seems :). The dealership staff were most friendly in the whole interaction, which is a cut above both Ford and Tata Dealerships. The only other car company with a comparable dealership staff is Hyundai. I initially went there for a second hand car (True Value), but I ended up buying a new car. It was only because of the way the staff treated me, be it in test drives, financing or any other step of the process, that I changed my decision. Even though True Value and New Car sales staff are separate, I did not experience any kind of trouble in terms of ill feelings amongst the staff etc.

From day 1, I found the car to be a great performer.My first highway drive experience was from Bangalore to Melukote, which was wonderful. After this, I have also taken the car to Bangalore-Tirupathi-Chennai-Bangalore, which was also a wonderful experience. My uncle, who has driven several vehicles was also all praise for it’s silent cabin and highway performance.

You can hardly even feel this car go to 120 km/h on the highway. With minimum fuss, it keeps eating up the kilometres on the highway. It is one of the best cars in it’s class, if not the best.

On cons, nothing much that you don’t find with other cars:
1. Less space in the back seat than in the Indica Vista. But I don’t really mind as it is mostly only me and my wife, and very rarely someone in the back seat. It is still not too bad, since I myself sat in the back seat from Tirupathi to Chennai (160 km) and did not feel any discomfort. Maruti only need to redesign the gearshift console a little (reduce the amount of the console jutting into the back seat to make it more comfortable.
2. Reverse gear falls very reluctantly half the time. I find this very frustrating at times.

Service-wise, Maruti is great. When I gave the car for the first service, I was called once the service was completed and asked to take delivery. A person from the Maruti Call Center called me the next day to ask how the service was and how the car is performing. Then someone called me after 10 days to again ask about the car’s performance, which is all very thoughtful.

No wonder Maruti tops the JD Powers charts on service quality.

Overall, I recommend this car for sheer peace of mind.

One point to note though- If you are buying a full-body cover for your car, go for the Maruti Genuine Accessories (MGA) cover from the dealership. It is more expensive than what you find in the market, but the quality is far far above the local market products.

Maruti Suzuki Swift simply ROCKS the road. I have enjoyed travelling on every kind of terrain on my Swift. It is simply awesome. I have been on a really adventureous trip to silliguri, darjlig and gangtok. That too non stop. i thought it would be really hectic, but with the swift it was simply a great experience.

It is the best car and needs tough competiton to beat that. Apart from that it can also be customised to a very great extent and can be given any kid of looks like race, sports, rage, funk. But i like the original looks as it looks beautiful while it runs on the road.

The car doesn't need any discription guys. It's the best car I would say. Nothing's bad.My experience is not such blod with the car cause I don't own it but I am working online for earnings, just for buying the Swift. The speed is also good including the pick-up. It's interiors are fine and comfortable with fully loaded Music System(company fitted). So you can rock the street guys. If you are looking for small car and a stylish one. Then I would staright recommend you to go fo it. Bang on!

I like the car for its looks. I like fuel economy & also it's besy for any kind of modification.Well its's difficult for any kind of dislike from my side. However, I would dislike the dash-board.

1) Fuel efficiency

2) Excellent handling

3) Class leading front seat comfort

4) Top class active and passive safety on Zxi

5) Good A/C & Good highway manners for a smallish hatch

7) Comfortable ride on bad roads compared to others in class

8) Performance

09) Existence of MASS (Maruti Authorized Service Stations) everywhere...

over all a good car for middle class
