Took the Test Drive of Ritz. Very Smooth, though some minor vibrations till 1000 RPM. Pick up is ok as for an 1.2 litre engine, but good in higher Gears. Leg space in front and rear is OK, but Boot space is dissapointing (seeing Indian needs and Condirtions). What i like most stylish is the back of the car (every one has his own choice). As per the site of Marutisuzuki, the straight back helps in making the car more aerodynamic, hence improving the efficiency and milage.
The shape of hyundai i20 is absolutely fantastic, it looks like honda crv, but its slightly more expensive than ritz and may not deliver so much on milage (for me milage and maintainance are very important). I am yet to take a test drive on i20. But from reviews i understand that it may be more smoother than ritz and its interiors may be better. If i were to go for a SH car i would have preffered a good looking car with lower milage and got CNG fitted on it, but for a new car i would prefer a car with good milage and lower maintainance.
If Ritz stands to its commitment on milage and maintainance then i think it is goiing to be a roaring success in the future. But it is also possible that Ritz does not stand its commitment on the performance of the new KM12 engine on milage (since i understand the milage of SX4, with K series engine, may not be delivering about 15 kmpl as claimed by maruti). Well! only time will tell.
Even i am waititn for more reviews on the new car ....
