Exterior is very good. Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) is good, should be some more spacious. Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox- k series enhance its power,pick is good
The Estilo represents Maruti Suzuki matching pace with the changing taste and lifestyle of 'Vibrant India'. The bolder new Estilo, designed to meet the aspirations of the Indian customer, is a heady-mix of sculpted features, bold designs, new exciting colours.
Leading the advanced technological features on the new Estilo are a new engine and a transmission system. Equipped with the popular 998cc K-series engine, the Estilo delivers a superior fuel efficiency of 18.2 kmpl (ARAI test results). This BSIV compliant engine makes the Estilo the second car in Maruti Suzuki stable that meets the BSIV norms much ahead of the effective date, April 2010.
My test was only to check the changes made by the maruti team in the newer avtaar of Estilo.
As far as the looks are concerned the company has give major face lift to the front of the car. The bonnet is litter bigger than the previous version due to the larger K-series engine under its hood. Also the headlamp design has been changes to suit the current fad. Rest of the exterior of the vehicle is same as that of its previous version (except for the provision of rear wipers).
The interior space of the vehicle has not changed even after stretching the length of car by 10 cm (extra length utilized for bigger engine). The interior is not much changed apart from the tow tone color arrangement and some changes in the instrument panel of the car.
Coming to the newer engine of the car which is peppy yet feel something is missing. The new engine of 3 cylinder pumps 68 BHP of power ( increase of 4 BHP from its earlier model) and have torque of 90 NM (increase of 6 NM). The gearbox is also changed but have similar driving experience as that of earlier version. Overall the new engine is more economical and adhering to the new emission norms to be implemented from year 2010.
Overall the company has tried to down play the ZEN and highlight ESTILO branding in the newer version. The ride of the car is smooth and very comfortable to drive specially in the city traffic and will prove to be a value for money for its customers.

Exterior The upgraded 2009 version has really very stylish look, compareable with any other brands.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Boot space is really very less.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox I have done 55534 Kms. since it's first day 22/04/2010. After doing 10000Kms I shifted to Fully Synthetic oil 0W40 from MOBIL. Since then I am getting a fuel efficiency of 19.8 in city with AC and 22.1 Kms/Ltr. in long journeys without ac and driving at a max. speed of 120 Kmph. The gear shifting is very smooth. GREAT PERFORMER.
Ride Quality & Handling I have shifted to 175.65.13 tires with alloys and increased the ground clearance from 165mm. to 185mm. after doing 40000 Kms. It gives the ride & handling quallity of a semi suv. no worries regarding the odd breakers when the vehicle is fully loaded.
Final Words Value for money.
Areas of improvement BOOT SPACE, not enough for carrying luggage for long journeys.

Exterior The frontage is too good. Ground clearance is ample (165cms), Fog lamps are powerful. I love the rear view mirrors adjusting with the electronic switch. The rear defogger, wiper with washer is definitely useful.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) I would rate this interior as the BEST compare to WR,i10, etc. I have fitted a dual din 7 inch screen on the dash board with DVD/BT option. I think this is possible only in this car and let me tell you that everybody who gets into my car are at awe with two things. One the spacious interiors, and my dual din player. I have fitted with a rear JBL system which rocks :-) The rear seat is at an elevated position which gives a clear view of the window and as well as the DVD screen. My daughter who use to sit in the front seat in my Alto earlier now prefers the back seat :-) The boot space is also huge. For driving I think it has a better viewability as the dashboard slides down unlike WR. For women folks I guess it would be a cake walk to drive.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox The K-series engine is really smoot and feels light. I have driven for about 500kms and have an average mileage of about 13 kms in city condition with AC on. This is the best gear box I have ever seen having driven almost all types of cars. But the reverse gear does not mesh up as smooth as the forward gears.
Ride Quality & Handling Ride quality is tooo good. Even when I take turn at 80 kmph, surprisingly there is no side roll.The shocks are really smooth. no much difference driving an alto as to estilo and that too in a city like Hyderabad.
Final Words If any of you plan to buy this car, NOW is the time as I manage to get a huge discount (consumer/corporate/dealer along with exchange bonus). I am sure shortly they would either remove the discount or increase the price. Within this one week they have again raise the price by almost 3800/-
I strongly recomment this car for executives/ladies and people who drive in heavy traffic.
Areas of improvement Center console is too small and shaky when I change the gears. The bucket seat could be more bucketish. The rear view seats could have a center console cum handrest in the middle.

Exterior Excellent looks,feminine design, good colour variants, attractive outlook just as mini innova.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Front seats are more spacious ,contrary the rear seats lacks the space for leg space, less spacious width wise with short thigh support for rear seats and bench back seats. but overall good looking interior, rear seat even comfortable for small family.

GOOD LOOKIN INTERIORS, WITH BEIGE AND BROWN, HOWEVER MARUTI MAY CONSIDER GOING FOR MORE STURDY INTERIORS, HOWEVER IT IS BEAUTIFUL, WITH POWER WINDOWS IN FRONT AND NO OHTER CARS IN THIS BUDGET HAS. SEATS ARE CONFORTABLE AND WITH TALL FEATURES. VERY GOOD WITH EVEN FOR PEOPLE WITH MORE THAN 6FT HEIGHT. GOOD LEG SPACE AND THE BEST PART OF IT IS A GOOD BOOT SPACE ONE CAN CARRY LOTS OF LUGGAGE.

GOOD EXPERIENCE IN RIDING, SHOCK ABSORBERS ARE EFFECTIVE, AND RIDE IS VERY SMOOTH, GOOD TURNING RADIOUS WHICH IS GOOD FOR HANDLING IN CITIES.
Final Words
A VALUE FOR MONEY CAR FOR THE BUDGET OF UPTO 4 LAKHS. ONE CANNOT THINK OF MORE THAN THIS LUXURY IN A CAR WITH A BUDGET BETWEEN 3.7 LAKH TO 4 LAKHS. OR SPENT MORE AND GET A LUXURY CAR. FINALLY I CAN SAY THAT THIS IS THE BEST OPTION WITH ABOVE SAID BUDGET.
Areas of improvement
MARUTI CAN CONSIDER FOR IMPROVING THE STRENGTH OF INTERIORS AND THE CERNTER PORTION OF DASH BOARD, ESPECIALLY IN MUSIC SYSTEM AREA. HOWEVER IN THE PRESENT CONDITION ALSO IS GOOD.

Exterior The exterior of the car is very nice.the new facelift from the old estilo makes the car a style icon.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) The interior of the car is not that good.there is very little room at the back. Ride quality is also not that comfortable.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox The new k series engine is awsome. The mileage is 11 in city and 13 at highways.the gear box is very smooth.
Ride Quality & Handling Ride quality is not very good. Very unstable and bumpy. Specially at the back.
Final Words Take a test drive and do think about the space in the car.
Areas of improvement If the cars width(which is 1495 mm) is made more then there would hardly be any competitor of the car.the other versions than vxi have very less features. But the main thing is MARUTI brandname.which makes it the king of the road.the after sale service experience is awesome.

Exterior Before finally zeroing on Estilo, I took the test drive of Spark & Alto K10. Exterior wise Spark looked old Matiz where as Alto look ed an extended version of M800( no offence to Alto or SPARK owners). Estilo looked tall & manly. The front grill gave a smile look & car gave a visual impression of a big car.
All the colors looked tempting however I went for Dusky Brown.Maruti has done changes to front only which looks fantastic.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) I am 5'11" so was looking for a car which gives ample leg room both at front & rear seat. Front seats are very comfortable & give good view of the road. The posture for driving is chair like so you do not feel as if you are sitting on the road ( as the case with Alto or Spark).Back seats are also comfortable for 3 average size people. Windows are big & give good view. The seat covers are dual toned which go well with the car exterior & look high end.Plastic quality is ok not great to speak of. The boot has plenty of space.AC is very silent & cooling is average
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox The biggest plus point of Estilo is K10 engine.The pick up is very good.Engine is so silent that in traffic you get confused that whether engine is running or not. I took the car for a long trip from Bangalore to Rameshwaram via Kodaikanal and back.On highway i got the average of 16 with continuous AC.In city driving it is 13 with AC which i find decent as most of the time car is on 2nd or 3rd gear. Gear shift is smooth initially before first service some effort was required while shifting to 3rd gear but that issue was resolved after the first service.
Ride Quality & Handling Ride quality is smooth & car handles pretty well on high way. On highway we touched 120 & car seemed to be in control. In city driving due to quick pick up you can zoom ahead as soon as traffic signal turns green.The car is good for city driving.
Final Words I purchased the LXI version for Rs 4.10 Lacs ex Bangalore( it included cash discount+Corporate discount and accessories like Central Locking, Mud Flaps, Mats, Tinted Glasses,Cental Locking,Teflon Coating and Wheel Covers). This is not a flashy car but a decent car for first time car purchasers. I think it is a good deal considering the price,features & most importantly Brand Maruti.After sales service of maruti is exceptional.
Areas of improvement Sometimes in tight traffic the A line hinders vision.
