Today I had appointment booked for car service to be pickup from my home address at 9.30am. It was confirmed to me yesterday about the same via a telephonic call from one of the appointment scheduler person from Andheri east Sai Service.
No one came to pick up the car by 10.00am and then I called up the Sai service to check on the same. Then at 10.15am I received a call asking for directions to my place only reaching my house 10.30am. This meant 1 hour delay in pickup with no one from Sai service bothered to inform me earlier that there will be delay wasting my early morning work schedule for which Sai service has no respect.
When you call up the sai service it takes them 5 minutes to take the call, then they keep you on hold for something you don’t know about and keeping on asking to transfer the call to all the departments of sai service. The person who takes the appointments doesn’t know about the reason for the delays.
This is my second service for ertiga with them, having swift serviced with them for more than 7 years at the same location. For swift I use to personally deliver the car and wait in long queues for couple of hours even after taking appointments. I have paid booking amount for celerio which I think shall cancel and buy some other company car but not Maruti.
At the time of the first service for ertiga, I had informed them there is problem of gear not shifting to first easily and takes ¾ hard attempts and the viper does not clean the windshield properly. For both the problems they had given idiotic responses. They told after some running the gear will become smooth which didn’t happen even after putting 5000kms in it. The viper is wearing out because of some dust and leaves are coming in to it. I have complained about the same in this second service hoping it gets resolved.
At the time of purchasing ertiga, the person who approached us for putting the accessories within the Maruti car dealer showroom confirmed to us that no plastics will be used and all of the work will be done properly. But the armrest he fitted in-between the driver and co-driver seat was worst. There was glue over the exterior body due to his soggy end moment work. The cover to the car opener handle came out which in the first place he told that it will entirely metal piece and not just a cover. All Lies and over charged for plastics.
Also at the time of the buying ertiga, I told the salesman that online there are people who have raised concerns about breaking and headlights to which he didn’t even listen. Without second thought I went on to upgrade the headlights which still are bad. The breaking is horrible in comparison to innova. The break locks itself most of the time and you need to think ahead while breaking and keep safe distance. I have hit the behind of the car ahead of me trice. Surprizing they do not have ABS for VXI- cng and then do not protect with Airbags. Isn’t it funny?
I hope they care about the customer and shall respond to me.
