Exterior Over all exterior is good. But the back side tail lamps can be made little more stylish. The fibre is little delicate.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Spacious and comfortable for 5 people. Boot space is ok. No much storage space inside the car. Maruthi could have provided little more storage space.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox I took Celerio VXI Optional in last week. Now it ran 800 kms. I got a mileage of around 23 kmpl. I wish I will get same mileage after my first servicing.
Ride Quality & Handling Ride quality is good and smooth handling. The gear box is smooth and the cluth is very responsive.
Final Words Awesome car for a person who want to upgrade from two wheeler to four wheeler.
Areas of improvement Could be made little more stylish. Front head lights can be tilted little bit up so that it covers more area and increase the visibility at night time.

Dear All,
I am driving Celerio VXi (o) MT for last 1 year now, on comfort and looks I find this car to be OK boot space is quite decent.However, my biggest concern is mileage before doing 10000KM(that is when you get your 3rd service done and expect the mileage to improve) my car was doing around 11-12 KM/L.I was under impression that same would improve post 3rd service, sorry to say this but I am dejected, my car is doing only 13 KM/L now sometimes I also face the problem of pick-up, seriously! I don't even know how to deal with this now.
overall I am not happy with this car
P.S> I drive it in the city and use it for my daily office commute, and follow all the tips on saving fuel.
was wondering if anyone else has got the same situation, would be waiting for the response eagerly.

Exterior Car looks tiny from outside, but reasonably spacious when inside. Wider than WagonR & Alto and can easily seat 3 adults.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Spacious and many utility options and holders. However, quality of plastics and metal parts is very poor.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Driven 400kms till now. Engine is quite until 3500RPM. Overall engine performance is satisfactory enough. Lag in 2nd gear performance is noticeable. Without AC car gives 15-16kmpl in bumper-to-bumper city traffic. Yet to see real mileage after 2 services. Auto Gear Shift is really good when driving in bumper-to-bumper traffic. AGS takes its own time to shift gears when you want quick acceleration. However, driving in manual mode is quick and very responsive.
Ride Quality & Handling Excellent ride for this budget, handles well at corners, precise steering. Big tires of 14 inch. Good highway stability.
Final Words Worth buying if you are not obsessed with acceleration and with looks. Very suitable for women & first time drivers.
Areas of improvement: Ugly front seats with integrated headrests. Rear body without mud-flaps is ugly, even fitting a maruti genuine mud-flaps does not integrate to the body very well. Mud flaps come-off after few days of driving. Maruti to deal with the over use of plastics, car body can be easily dented. Not even comparable to similar segment cars from hyundai. Missing minimum accessories like Audio system. No option of ABS & Airbags in AGS models.
Don't expect this car to be safer even with airbags, because unlike European celerio, Indian celerio is not built with TECT technology (high strength steel), so if you meet with any accident at speeds greater than 65, then you can imagine the rest.
Absolutely pathetic dealer experience from GEM Motos, Kondapur, Hyderabad. These idiots robbed me by all means.

Silent engine. Got an average 16+ on city roads. Finished 1st service. Got a mileage of 23.7 on highway with speed of 70-100. Not up to expectation for the power with AC on.

Excellent turning radius.Comfortable ride.Dont feel the bump on small potholes.
Final Words
Vehicle worth the money..Dont think any other vehicle can match for the same amount of money.Have taken a test drive of AT version..Liked it pretty much but could not go with the waiting period.
Areas of improvement
Can improve on quality of plastic fiber ,both interiors and exterior especially near the rear headlights and number plate. Pick up of engine, especially being a 1000cc is not up to expectations with AC on.Can incorporate safety items like air bag, rear visor and ABS in Vxi version also.Can try with rear AC ports also.

Final Words
Model comes with only 4 alloy wheels and spare tyre is ordinary. It is not mentioned any where is brochures. I booked with seeing vehical. I found it only after 5000 km of driving. I wrote to all people. No one responded. I had paid almost 6 lac weather Rs 5000 will be more for me if I to get spare tyre also alloy type. It is cheap tricks played on customers.

Maruti has long way to go when it comes to exterior design and when compared to their closest competitors in terms of sales, Hyundai, they just are not good enough. The car seems to be designed by different people for different sections. The rear side is the worst and the tail lamps are just not up to the mark. It looks rigid due to the high stance and except for the front grille and lamps the looks are quite ordinary.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort)
Maruti has imporoved here but yet again fall flat when compared to Hyundai. The plastics are hard and do not have the premium finish quality that Hyundai boasts of even in the basic car like Eon. The lines and design elements are good and the dual tone adds character.
Space wise maruti have hit all the right buttons. They seems to have learnt from the Honda Brio and have carved out space from every nook and corner. The legroom for this segment is fantastic and the comfort level is within acceptable limits.
The car is feature rich in the ZXi badge but unfortunately not availbale in the AMT version. The VXi does not even come with stereo. The safety features on the ZXi like ABS and airbags are also not available (not even as an option) on the VXi. Why maruti decided not to offer the AMT version with the ZXi badge is beyond me. The VXi is poorly equiped while the ZXi in the manual version boasts of safety features, electric ORVM, Alloy wheels, stereo, steering mounted controls and more.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox
The refined K10 engine is a gem. The proven machine in the alto just got better. Drive quality is excellent and feels very smooth. Once you get used to the AMT and its gear changes, you will instinctively know when the gear shifts happen and you will see yourself in control of the car much more.
The AMT although not the best automatic around has its advantages and its pretty refined in the celerio. The best part is the proivision of the manual mode. In light traffic when you feel like driving enthusiastically and want better control you can shift into the manual mode and have some fun. You do not have to downshift as the car will automatically do that for you irrespective of whether you are in manual ot auto mode. For overtaking and zipping through traffic, this is the best mode.
Fuel economy is really good for an auto gear car. I am getting a constant 16.5 (on MID, 2200KMs and after first service) with a combination of heavy and light traffic. I travel atleast 40KMS everyday. And the ease of the auto gear is a boon in city conditions.
Ride Quality & Handling
The car handles well in low and high speeds. I have taken it upto 120KM/hr, and it behaved quite well in those speeds. However due to lack of safety features its not a great vehicle to take at those speeds.
The power steering is pretty precise and feels very smooth.
Final Words
Overall its a winner. Good city car with mileage that you can be proud of even in a manual car. The only drawback (shocking drawback) is the unavailablity in ZXi version.
Areas of improvement
The exterior has to improve a lot. Maruti has to get some fresh ideas in the design department (or hire the guy from Hyundai... :p). Interiors could be more refined and please o please release the car in the ZXi version. Too late for me but let the other buyers have the choice.

Exterior Good front looks, it will give sportive look if we add external sportive fog lamps. Because of maruti warranty issue I cant add external one. Fornt and side view is impressive, rear is a bit not pleasing, after adding rear spoiler its better.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Though it looks like small car from outside it surprised me with interior space. I was confortable w.r.t seating in celerio than Honda city. two tone interior given rich and airy look.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Here comes intresting part. with respect to milage, I travelled to Lepakshi from Bangalore (250km two way) and I got milage of 27km/L !!!! trust me, I got surpriced whether I am griving petrol card or Hybrid car (I am refering to Hybrid as petrol+electrical cars in US, which used to give such a milage figures). I was driving in between 70 to 90km/h speed withought my trip. In previous month I travelled to Hyderabad and I maintained speeds around 100-110km/h I got milage of 23km/h. I am really happy with milage. In Bangalore city getting milage of 16 to 17km/L
w.r.t to speed its very stable vehicle in its class (I had Waganr, it used to wobble after 100km/h). even above 120km/h speed in highway it goves good confident. change it to manual mode it cruzes like rocket. I testdrove swift also at the time of test driving Celerio, and I found Celerio has good pickup. This is my observation.
Ride Quality & Handling Very good at high speeds and shocks are class above.
Final Words Worth for the cost we spent. Very promising car, lets see how AT works in longrun..
Areas of improvement No ZXi in AT. Atleast ABS option they might have given.

I have disc problem this gives a feel of big car from inside 14inch tyre. is less painfull at back when compared with maruti 800 makes it easier for long drives. Drives well in high speeds, twists and turns, incline, ease at corners, easy to overtake, agile.
Final Words Very Good family car to own. Value for money, fuel economy, Better Space, Manual Version is better than AMT specially for non-metro's.
Small size light weight car makes it easier to park. competitor figo, grand i10, i10(high seating), eon, micra, stingray(high seating), ritz, brio, polo etc. Simple and easy car for drivers.

Exterior from fron on it looks really nie spl the headlights but gives you very sad from behind.
Interior is nice and you feel very comfortable and it gives you feel for a swift.
Engine Performance is I can say is good you can feel the K10 engine but on cng it takes whole effort to come up.
Fuel Economy is good and on CNG it is giving me 1.75 per kilometer on city driving without AC and on petrol it is giving me 14km per litre. It wil be better now since i have done first serviving of Oil.
Gearbox is bit Notchy sometimes but the positioning is good.
Ride Quality is avg since it gives you hard times on a bumpy surface. you can feel hard when you come acroos to bad roads and speed breakers. You need to be carefull. Th cuting radius is also awesome in city. It is very easy to park your car on a congested area.
