Introduction I purchased VXi variant on 15 March. It was an upgradation from my 5 year old Alto LXi. Booked for ZXi, but had to end up with VXi due to non avaialbility of the variant within the time. Before I get into the experience, I wish Maruti had planned better in releasing this wonderful vehicle. As of now it has a huge waiting period, many MGA accessories are not avaialble, there was confusion on certain functionalities of the vehicle with the sales teams. Keping these aside as a 1 month old user I am extremely happy with the vehicle. My advice - instead of VXi, if you have ample waiting period, go for ZXi, because once you load the accessories etc. the cost nearly come same and you will get airbag, rear vipers, indicators on ORVM etc additional.
Exterior Though not a WOW, it is the best what you can expect from Maruti. They have taken care of the countouring to ensure perfect aerodynamics. Headlights are clear, and not a single blind spot when you are behind the wheel. There is scope for improving the rear side look. The new security features like door locks (wherein you can customize how manual central locking can function) and the ground clearance is noteworthy. The turning radius is amazing.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Well designed interiors with lot of utility spaces to stuff your small items. The interior colors are excellent. Though the front suspenson is wonderful, as an user I felt the rear one need improvement. Very good leg space and width sufficent enough. The airconditioner also does a pretty decent job, even in hot bumper to bumper peak city traffic. The interior plastic though not of bad quality can be improved.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Powerful engine, smooth perfromance. I am yet to get the vehicle for the first service, so expecting the gearbox to get bit more smoother. Will give 10 out of 10 for fuel efficiency. I had travelled around 150 kms in ghat session and another 400 in highway with an average mileage of 20.1, with good load (remember, yet to go for the first service).
Ride Quality & Handling Superb in class.Effortless riding with the Power steerings and Brakes. Once agin has to mention the wonderful turning radius. Tubelss tyres add to the comfort.
Final Words A superb vehicle which good value for the money you put. As I mentioned in the introduction section, ZXi would have been a better option since it comes fully loaded with not that huge price difference. But no regrets as the engine and otehr aminities remain same.

Fuel perfomance is very bad. it is below 15kms/ltr Dealer Management sculked from topuping mileage or hearing my problems. They imposed some matters to keepup in driving.but i sure that i have driving license from 1981 and using four wheelers maruthi 800 type2, maruthi 800 type3 and alto for last 10 years. Ikonw how to save fuel during driving. but the managment is insulting me as a new commer.
My qn. is that this maruthi's portfolio is to insult new owners of your modern vehicle? Iam giving managment one week time to resume mileage as ads in news papers ie 23.4km/ltr.
If you couldn't rectify the matter with in one week, I will take necessary steps for misleading me. you are to conqure the circumstances.

Best exterior.Fog lights are not present in any version below Zxi. it looks very stylish. It is present around 7 colours.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort)
There are very less interior features but it is easy to customize.Music system is not present in versions below Zxi. It is provided with much space inside even enough for a 7 feet man to seat in comfort. Seat are cozy.Stylish interior.

Best in class engine,transmission and fuel economy.

Easy to drive and reach 120 speed.
Final Words
Best in class car but it is not present diesel version. If it is present in diesel it will surely hit peaks in sales. Very easy to drive. So simple that even a kid can drive.Clutchless car. Its easy to drive both auto and manual mode.
Areas of improvement
Security and internal features should improved and a diesel version should be launched.Air bags should be present in very version for more safety.
Best auto transmission car in economy.The only bad thing its not present in diesel version.

Exterior
Like All Maruti Cars, Celerio also has decent looks. They always have simple and subtle designs. From the front one can mistake this to be a Etios. From the side the car has a smooth flowing designs. The back is also quite simple.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort)
The interiors surprisingly is very spacious. Unlike all other Maruti`s which are cramped.
The celerio has been blessed with good leg space, has a Tall boy design and also a decent shoulder room.
The seats though are not very comfortable for long drives. They are stiff and one can feel the bumps and bad roads. For my comfort I had to get the seats added with extra padded cushion after which the seats give a feeling of luxury car.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox
Engine is peppy and responsive.
For city driving in bumper to bumper traffic the automatic gear box is a blessing. After driving manual cars for so many years, I wonder why I never got myself an automatic all these years. Fuel economy comes to a decent 15 kmpl.
While overtaking there is a lag and one can feel the jerks during gear changes.
Ride Quality & Handling
Ride Quality is smooth. The guys at maruti have done a good job of insulating the cabin so that there are no vibrations or noise felt inside. The power steering is also very light and easy to manouvere. The front glass is aerodynamically placed which gives a rich look. Seating positions for passengers as well the driver is very well designed.
Final Words
Buy an Automatic car now that its affordable. It gives you the independence and freedom to drive in Bumper to Bumper Traffic and relax. There is no need even to take driving classes. You save on the cost of appointing a driver. No more stress and road rage as you can sing, eat, conversate with your Co-Passengers
Areas of improvement
The Outer Looks could be improved to make it more appealing and upmarket.
Celerio could be stretched further to 3.99mtrs which would give it a longer length base.

Exterior The car is good Looking at few particular angles and is not in most of the angles. The chrome grill at front is not soo good and i would have liked the Suzuki's Honeycomb Grill which is there in the Swift and the current SX4.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Interiors are pretty good and decent, when compared to the earlier cars which the current Celerio replaces, but not at par with the koreans. Space is huge and the cabin feels airy. Front seats are slender and vibrates at idle. Fronts seats offer good side support but the integrated headrest is not i would have wanted.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Engine is good and the Power seems to be, little more than Wagon R (which comes with the same engine). First Gear acceleration is short and the engine goes into idle quickly. In city driving this car with MT is not a good option, however go past 30 Km/Hr the car accelerates and pulls cleanly in it's 3rd and 4th Gear and the car reaches triple digit speeds quicky.
I drive all the way from Sohna Road,Gurgaon to Okhla Phase-3,New Delhi for my Work. It's approx 80 Km's a day and in peak City traffic still the car's returing an average of 19Km/Ltr with AC on always, which is fantastic.
The Gear Shift was Notchy and coming back to first or the second gear was notchier. But we'll be used to the car if you are driving the car for more than
Ride Quality & Handling Because of it;s high seating position, the car inspires confidence while driving and the car feels secure even at triple digit speeds, but actually it isn't. I had driven this car at 170 Km/Hr on Noida-Agra Expressway and never felt any sort of vibration and never ever felt lack of confidence on it's driving dynamics.
Final Words Best Car for it's price point. I had driven it approx 9000 Km's till date and hope to give my car for 3rd and Final Free service next month. Maintenance free till date and only spent for Tyre Alignment with balancing during 2nd Free Service.
Areas of improvement Could have imporved in aesthetics of the car. But good Value for Money. With Maruti's service. It's the best fit - if you are looking for a Good/Average Looking car with great Mileage and moreover on a budget band of 4.5-5 Lakhs.

I have bought this car in the month of March Celerio ZXI Manual Transmission. The car perfomance is excellent, Engine is very smooth. Coming to Power while driving in 2nd gear with AC its hard to pull thats only the drawback. Fuel economy is very excellent, in long drive I got 22KM/PL Its very satisfactory in Fuel econony. One of the best product of Suzuki after Maruthi 800 and Zen old model in fuel econony. Spacious Legroom. Excellent road view. Comfortable gear shift. Lighting is very very good. There is option of fog lights in Celerio ZXI but There is no need of Fog light for this car. R14 Tyers. Very best central locking system one of the best feature of Celerio, Electrically Adjustable ORVM. City mileage is around 17/19 KM/PL. Steering Mounted control is Celerio ZXI with bluetooth technology.

Sub: Grievance regarding performance of said car.
Sir,
Above mention car was delivered to me through sai service in Aug 2014. Ever since these car is in operation on number of occasion defective things were noticed and due to that we experience difficulties in getting day today service.
This car is just 2 and half year old and has completed just 15000 kilometre in a above period and also vehicle has been serviced regularly at authorised Service Station (Sai Service Pvt. Ltd) as prescribed schedule in owner’s manual. This car is used only as a family car and being run on good condition roads in city area. From last one month car starts jerking while shifting gears and making some unusual noise from engine compartment. At this stage now the car is with your authorised dealer (Sai Service Pvt. Ltd. Virar west) for a couple of weeks and it seems that the dealer has Until Now not been able to detect the fault and put the vehicle on the road smoothly. They already replace many parts from transmission but engine noise problem remains as it is. The dealer now suggest that engine will be required to be open to see if the fault can be overcome.
At the moment the my vehicle is under extended warranty even though on opening the engine and transmission certain parts not covered under the warranty, will be charged me as dealer said. This will become a financial liability to me even when my vehicle is used very less and with extensive care. Further beyond warranty period if this is going to be the same scenario it ultimately resulting in a big financial liability in the time to come for me.
By all these means it seems that vehicle is brought out having manufacturing defects. When Maruti Suzuki claims to be a number one brand in customer satisfaction, deserve to be call back the said defective vehicle for safer transactions.
I earnestly request you that the needful is done at earliest to enable to get rid of these difficulties.

Everybody knows that the plastic quality of maruti on dashboards and doors is not that good from day one so no comments on that. i think it has become a standard to use sub standard plastic

now, it has a new Kb 10 engine which in turn is quite good, the acceleration from 2nd to 3rd gear is like fast so good for overtaking, but it lags in the 4 th gear...
the gearbox is smooth and not like wagon R a bit rough
i hav driven 5000 kms and it is giving me an Avg. of 21-22 kmpl on Cng and 16-17 Kmpl On Petrol...
But i guess it will increase as soon as i go for a oil change on my 3 rd service which is on 10000 kms...
Ride Quality & Handling
Ride quality is where this car has given me a surprise, i drive daily from Gurgaon To Noida and let me tell you Iam not at all tired even after driving 90kms up and down... the centre grip of car is amazing and it does not wobbles even at high speeds. i personally hav rhd speeds upto 120kmph... Not for traffic cops to read though... I t comes with a 165mm 14inch tyres so a broad tyre from maruti....
Final Words
Generally i go for new concepts whenever i buy a car so between I10 Cng and Celerio go for Celerio though I10 has a slightly powerfull engine but even in celerio u dont come to knw that you are driving a 998cc car...
Areas of improvement
Maruti just has to make its quality of plastics better.. i know its a world of cost cuttings but still come on, maruti is one of the oldest car maker in India, and now people are ready to spend a few extra bucks if they get a better quality...

I own a celerio manual LXI and I am very happy about it.
I am getting mileage of 16+ kmpl in the Bangalore city traffic(Indiranagar to KR puram) with 100% AC on.
Highway I am getting 22+(70 to 80 kmph speed) with 100% ac on.
I am following all the decent driving tips and filling petrol near to manipal hospital HP petrol bunk old airport road.Since petrol bunks are more important for FE
Dont see the petrol meter bar and calculate, if so you will end up with frustration
Fill the tank full 35 litters, just tell the bunk guys to fill the tank full cut off. The pump will cut off automatically if the tank is full. After filling the tank reset your distance meter to zero(A or B) Drive the car in regular style for another 40 kms or plus. After this again go to the same bunk and full tank tank for full cutoff. Note down the litters need to full the tank. For example if it 2 litter and 40 km done then you are getting 20kmpl.
The above method is accurate one. 16+ kmpl in city for petrol is very excellent.

I have been driving VERNA DIESEL car for the last 7 years and was quite satisfied with its performance. However present traffic situation in DELHI has become so bad that one has to keep pressing clutch all the time. During rush hour when the traffic moves at extremely slow speed, driving gets on one's nerves and one gets tired. Distance of 25 KMs from GURGAON to SOUTH DELHI takes about 2 hours. This compact car with automatic transmission came as a boon for me. Its price is also very less which is the reason for minimum 6 months waiting period.
I recommend to everyone, who does not believe in STATUS SYMBOL, should buy this car. Its drive is so smooth and its tall boy design are its excellent features. Moreover no auto company will sell semi automtic car at such a low price.
This is the best compact car with automatic transmission . Very good for chaotic traffic of DELHIIt's pick up is not as good as fully automatic or manual transmission carఎక్స్టీరియర్/స్టైల్స్
