I got delivery of the the car on December 3, 2012 and since then it has been driven 1300 kms approximately. The LXI model cost me 3.57 L on road in Nagpur city. I spent another 20K on Sony deck and reverse parking camera.
Exterior The design is very cool and resembles a tallboy shape. The curves also look good with the headlights adding character to the appearance. The older Alto looks very mild. The bad part is that the car is almost made of 'plastic' (fibre). I fear the day when someone dashes into me or vice versa.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) There is a lot of headroom and the scooped seats offer some extended seating in the back. Perfect car for a family of four. For the price and segment, the comfort levels are exceedingly good.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Not a 'powerful' car as the 800cc engine has tuned for economy. If you start the A/C then the car really lags while starting off from signals.
Ride Quality & Handling The power steering is extremely weak and it does take an effort. Ride quality is fantastic as the small potholes and rough ride are invisible. I felt the potholes in my Indica all the time, but this car is smooth. Highway ride is also fun, but only till 80k/hr.
Final Words Overall value for money.
Areas of improvement NA.
Fuel economy, design, boot space and headroomPower steering weak, fibre body and music system absence
