I was a proud owner , when i bought this Scorpio S8 , in Oct 2014. I already have Scorpio VLX Micro Hybrid which was bought in Jan 2011.
This vehicle has too many electrical issues.which is very poor in reliability. When ever i drive this vehicle at night times, my headlight bulbs burnt within 2-3 hours of operation. This is happening almost every alternative days and i went to Mahindra & Mahindra Service station - India Garage, Mysore.
The service guy checked the car and wanted to replace the battery. I went to Amaron showroom to get a second opinion and the amaron guys said the battery is working fine.
I went to a local mechanic and he checked the car and replaced the regulator in the alternator, from last 2-3 days car head light is working fine.
Having spent hard earned money , i regret today. Travelling with family - old people, ladies and small kids, in remote parts and your headlight gives away at night every 2-3 hours, you can judge the reliability of the vehicle and expertise of Mahindra service mechanics.
Reaching Mahindra - No response, you can reach the unprofessional dealer service centers, where you will get no results and Mechanic /staff are there to give wrong advice and cheat the customers.
