Exterior If you cannot afford for Fortuner then Scorpio is the CAR you should go for. Just one word, MACHO looks.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) You will be happy to get a 7/8 seater for this price including Dual Airbags, ABS..etc. Mahindra Rocks.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Superb. I was driving Ford ikon diesel and this is my first SUV car. Never had a chance to drive old scorpio but new scorpio driving experience is really great. Very smooth and powerful.
Ride Quality & Handling You will never feel like that you driver a big car. Very responsive power sterring. Still little body rolling but for indian roads you never ignore it.
Final Words Fortuner is great but out of my budget..but Scorpio filled all my expectations.
Areas of improvement Sales and Service as usual. It has improved but still somewhere missing customer's expectation.

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Fair, space good, comfort same as older.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Good, but avg fuel economy, no automatic gear box.

Final Words Scorpio 2014 outer look is not good especially back side. It is like demon face with showing his teeth(no plate). Scorpio is cheating indian customers.Globally all SUVS are moving towards safest unibody construction but scorpio is body on frame construction which has high tendency to roll over. It is just like a box enlarged from previous version. It is technically outdated design. I dont why M & M always dependent on name of previous 2002 successful product scorpio. Most of Global automakers move technologically forward in all areas, but M& M moving forward in some arears and backward in design. Soon they can Use the brand name scorpio for tractors, trucks, etc to capture market lead position.
Areas of improvement Exterior,design, need a global product not local product.

Exterior Awesome. SEEMS like a new car and white drl is the best.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Awesome. Fully automatic temperature control, height adjuster on driver side, power windows on driver-door and a host of other exciting new features make driving the New Generation Scorpio more pleasurable.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Good. Fuel economy is good as compared to XUV 500.
This variant has been incorporated with a 2.2-litre mHawk diesel engine that has the ability to displace 2179cc. The engine has 4 cylinders, sixteen valves and is based on a double overhead camshaft valve configuration. It can produce a peak power of 120bhp at 4000rpm and maximum torque output of 280Nm at 1800-2800rpm. The engine comes mated with a five speed manual gearbox.
Ride Quality & Handling Excellent. Best for off road The New Generation Scorpio comes with cushion suspension & anti-roll technology that makes driving a breeze. Get behind the wheel and be in complete control.

Exterior Looks good and you can see people are stopping thier vehicle to take a look of yours. Red color is specially great.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) I did pre-booking, but decided to go with 8 seater. So have to wait for sometime to get my car. They have changed interior which is better than previous version, but you still feels it should have been better as this is what you will be driving for next 10-15 years.
Another thing i found annoying was lack of storage space. There is almost no storgae pockets provided in car and even side pockets are not accesible while driving. Mahindra should imprve on this in next revision. With 8 seater, leg room in middle and lower benches is OK. But in long drive it is comfortable.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Have driven only 500 kms till now. Engine is somewhat noisy till 3rd gear, but once you reach in 4/5 gear you get a very smooth ride. Fuel economy i am getting is arround 12.5 in city with AC on, which is what i expected. Gearbox is somewhat bigger than my previous car (ford figo), so took sometime to get adjusted.
Ride Quality & Handling As I mentioned earlier, that car is pretty smooth while drving in 4/5 gear. But in city traffic you mostly do not get chance to drive on it, so it feels heavy. Body roll is still there, but quite reduced as compared to older one.
Final Words With few limitations (lack of storage space, not smooth drive in lower gear), i love my new car. this is my third car and i never felt so proud and happy about my car. Attention you get on road increases this. Plus high ride expecirece which you do not get in many so called SUVz(like Dustur) is something which makes your ride much easirer.

I had purchased New Scorpio 6+ from Shiva Auto Delhi on 1st Feb 2015. From then i had been twice to out of delhi.
Exterior of the vehicle is such masculine that on road every one makes way for it as you come nearer to other vehicle from their rear side..Exterior is such that everyone cannot let their attention go out till your vehicle goes out of their purview on road. Front bonet as well as curves at rear tail lights and masculine curves on bonet gives onlookers feel of envy from you when i drive..
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort)
Not much saying about the interiors since being a rough and tough SUV if anyone expects extreme luxury then its question of his illogical reasoning. However, having bigger tyres and wheelbase with greater suspension gives very better comforts from digs and dugs of the roads, however with scorpio one need not bother about digsand dugs of the road, rest it can be understood.
Regarding space it is about to fine, in its segment, this vehicle gives max space..
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox
Very much improved and better, real enjoyment is when i drive on highways and terraneous, it goes on like a butter makkhan types, leaving all other vehiles SUVs behind..
Regarding the fuel efficiency its around 10km/l, it would be normal since it a powerful engine carrying such a heavy tuff body bearing 2200 cc engine,

Ride quality and handling is also fine, its easily lady driven easily, it takes only 1 day for a new driver to come over its handling..awsome handling..

Finally i can say that it worth the price i had paid for totally comaptible as per indian roads either city or terrains..,.

Masculine Macho Look.. Rear Part is somewhat softer than previous ScorpioInteriors needs improvement..Rest all is good i should say very better in all respect..

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Interior eletrical side every month problem now almost all items damaged. 10 years i am using japan car i changed only oil filter & break pad, even bulb not damaged till now.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox 20000 KM engine failed, transmission changed. After that every 100KM, gear not changing properly, giving problem always. if we send it to the services centre min. one month we must wait. They will promise everything Ok. But again the same problem will continue after 100KM.

Final Words Your R & D must see any japan car quality & the way of service they provide their customers. We dont have time to spend whole time workshop, please stop the worst product.

Exterior Excellent Exteriors, back of car looks over-done, which also makes it look delicate as compared to the Sturdy look of it's predecessors.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Modified interiors look better, the infotainment system helps out when needed, one problem is that we can't reach out to the side pockets while driving.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox I am an off-roading lover, I am rarely found on the roads. The Scorpio has nailed it all, it never made me even think twice before going to an off-roading (Except the first time due to it's delicate looks). Engine has never broken-down on the worst of off-roading and always provides the needed power and the AT Gearbox makes it Extra-Easy to drive.
Ride Quality & Handling THE BEST comfort EVER. I once got a bit agressive and I went on off-roading in a hilly area and... surprise for me after a high rise/rising slope, there was no ground upto 12-15 ft and I expected the dead-body of my Scorpio. But I tried to manage and suceeded, I didn't feel the jerk of falling as worse as I expected it to be and all I had to do after that was go to the Service Centre to close the Airbags. No doubt the Handling and Ride Quality are THE BEST in a Scorpio.
Final Words The New Scorpio has a very Sensitive and Delicate look but still hasn't left it's TRUE agression and comfort.
Areas of improvement The acessibility of the Door-Pockets should be made easy and as many say, make the back seats a bit more comfy, safe and spacious.
