I crossed 1lakh kilometer, so i think its worth for me to add comment on Bolero slx in my village English ;-)
Exterior Exterior is good while comparing with this segment of SUVs, but there is rust formation in place were rubber beeding closly attached. In doors and panet. Bolero stand on engine sound, we love it and continue it.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) We cant expect more from here for interior look. But 5stars for comfort and 3 stars for space. The reason for 3 srars for space is ==> not so good while comparing with other SUVs. Onle 5 heads can sit comfortly (we can do this in normal 5 seaters cars).
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Not much difference between normal engine and Di Turbo engine, the result is same. we cannot cross 120 km/hr always the heviest engine screms. Speed 100 is effective and speed 80 is good to get better milege. I get 15.75km/ltr in long drive and 17km/ltr in local [its vice versa for me]. Shifting gears is bit hard, it will be easy if u r technical driver.
Ride Quality & Handling Lack in smoothness. Anything under control if we drive below 100km/hr. This SUV got more stability than Scorpio in cutting the edges while overtake in top speed of 120km/hr. Stability differs when more head counts added. We can play if 4 heads on board and we love the drive with rocking songs and friends.
Final Words My title is my final words "Suitable for lower middle class"
Areas of improvement
- Need to improve strong built in quality
- Need to improve smoothness like xylo / scorpio in gear box and reduce vibration [need heavy engine sounds].
- A/C need to modify it totally.
- uneven brake pad (tilt) complaint in all Bolero crosses 90k + Kilometers.
- I have experince like tractor while applying clutch its really feels heavy when long drive.
- Hand brake is for the shake of feature but no use.
Looklack in smoothness
