Definitely a great styling specially from front but also from all angles.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort)
Probably the best among all available cars. Very soothing interiors, feature rich and ergonomically and aesthetically designed controls (Auto AC controls, ORVM adjustments, adjustable steerings, bluetooh coonectivity etc).
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox
I have driven for 12500Km, very good performance overall. But slightly sluggish at 2 and 3 rd gears while AC is on but manageble. Once it reaches 50km and 4 - 5 gears it is very good and responsive, Easy and smooth gear shifts which i ever feel, fuel economy in city like pune is about 14-15 km and on highway got 17 km avg with intermittent AC on.
Ride Quality & Handling
I love to ride this car. The wheel base is the longest, Handling is easier thru EPS and feels very sturdy on the curves and long strech.
Final Words
Its Value for Money. I would recommend this car for the one who like the stylish and comfortable car in this range.
Areas of improvement
For Pertol car engine could have been 1.4 but obviously fuel economony may need to compramise.

interiors are just amazing.its truly a premium hatchback,nice features,loved the steering controls.space is also very good for 5 people.even the ACC was cooling the cabin quite perfectly.don't know why people complain about the A/C ineffectiveness !!!

this is the point where the car lacks.we 4 friends went on a trip and i was driving the car.2nd gear appeared to be just dead.it was feeling very sluggish.firstly did a full tank and the destination was around 120 kms away(consisted of 30 km city run and rest highway) came back again did a full tank and mileage came out only 11 km/L.this was not we expected

didn't go beyond 110 km/hr so for that speed i would say both ride and handling was just OK

very nice and spacious car with lots of features and i will surely recommend this.the new igen is pricier than this version but still i think its worth the money

Exterior Amazing.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Awesome amazing bluetooth (well place speaker), intelligent features (tweeter's placement awesome). Comfort is nice as well (some people had advised me not to buy i20 as the seats are not comfortable but post driving the car, I feel it's just bad rumours floating in the market as the comfort is awesome). Some people compare it with Swift (I owned it earlier), but i20 is in different league altogether.

**pickup not great, but stable car (have driven at 160 & it was ok), nice comfortable gearbox (however, 6th gear is mostly unused & urges you to go to highways to drive it in 6th gear). I have a concern with Mileage** It's giving a mileage of 12.5 in city conditions (travel from dwarka-gurgaon). I had spoken to hyundai service guy & he said that it will improve post 10000 kms as the engine gets adjusted (which was weird). I dont know if thats the case coz' I was driving a swift vxi (cng) earlier & it is my first time with deisel cars. please assist in the same & tell me if the mileage issue is correct & will it improve later or am i worrying unnecesarily?

Exterior The fluidic design works for the new car, front grill, bumper headlights recieve modifications alongwith rear lights. The chrome package on asta makes it look expensive.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Packed with features like rear camera, bluetooth support, steering mounted controls, auto climate control, usb aux compatible music system with 4 speakers and 2 tweeters in the front. Driver seat gets height adjustment alongwith side arm rest. seats are well positioned and leg space is good.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Very refined diesel unit. Turbo kicks in @ 1600 rpm and by 2000 rpm it is on the boil. 6 speed transmission makes highway rides smooth and economical. Fuel economy is good both for city use and highway cruising.
Ride Quality & Handling Suspension is a little soft for highway rides with 4 passengers and boot full of luggage. Steering is light and effortless but sometimes feels a bit vague on tight corners at high speeds.
Final Words Overall I would recommend this to anyone who is willing to pay the price for the car. Every penny spend is worth for this vehicle.
Areas of improvement
1. 5th spare wheel should be an alloy.
2. Steering should be little meatier.
3. Tire size should be 195 and the alloys should be 15 inch.
4. Service schedule should have 4th additional service as well.
5. Warranty package should be similar to the petrol variants.

Exterior The car recieves modification on the front bumper, hood headlights to make the fluidic theme going. Also changed are the rear lamps for the same reason. The ASTA variant gets chrome door handles, 14 inch alloys, rear spoiler, turn indicators on OVRM's, and foldable mirrors. Discs on all 4 wheels are also present.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) The interior is a 2 tone beige and brown with careful colour scheme resulting in dark colours on areas frequently touched. The seats are good and the rear 60:40 option is good. The center console gets a supervision cluster and a digital meter which works like a charm. So does the rear view camera and the parking sensors. Steering has a reach and rake adjustment and also houses bluetooth and audio controls. Driver seat has height adjustment additional which is good for ladies. Both driver and passenger get airbags which is also good from safety point.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Engine is refined with low noise levels. 6 speed transmission works like a charm on the highways. Fuel economy is around 21-23 mark with proper driving assisted by the gear change tool which is housed in the center console.
Ride Quality & Handling Steering is light and good for city driving but on highways it would take time to get used to. Ride quality is good for the city the car absorbs the bumps quite easily. But when full with 4 people + luggage it tends to hit some speed humps which could be annoying.
Final Words A very good all round car which has loads of comfort and good selection of gadgets. Would recommend it for anyone who is willing to pay the price for the premium car.

Exterior V.Good exterior.Looks are sleek with a smiley face same as it's peer models.Graphics could have made the car more chick looking.Option for black colour which is a common demand not available.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Interior is spacious and decent enough for the space of five.The features like rear view camera,parking sensor and a button start ,cold glove box are decent features which is not commonly found in this segment.
Presence of leather & a sunroof could have made the car look rich.Ofcourse on the ride quality there is no compromise as it smooth.Takes the bad road smoothly as i compare the car with a Desire VDI.Seeing the boot sapce ,which is again decent enough for a mall family.The steering is awsome and effortless.Main concern today is again,is milleage.This car comfortably delevers 14kmpl,in city condition in Kolkata with A/C always on.
All well that ends well.After a hard slog in the office the whole day iIt's really easy to park the car in my conjusted parking with the rear view camera in the vehcle.

Space: good space for long trip reae seat sit 3 adults compatablely,front saet are bagt sheap super.
Compact: I am very comfact for long drive because streeting adjustment is for comfort drive.

Engine: 1.4 L 90HP is good engine... I touch my odemeter in krishnagiri vellore highway in 185+-2km I nenver seen in this powerful engine in this segment car. Realy powerful engine& control.
Fuel Economy: 1300 diesel /500km drive calculate like this 1300/52=25lts 25*20=500 km here 1300 total price, 425km drive before I get low fuel indication. After low fuel indication I drive 85 km extra without fill fue, 52 Fuel rate, 25 total lits, 20 is perfact Millage for me.
Gear box: 6 spped manual is ok..and gear shift indication is very useful.
Ride Quality & Handling Amzing ride 185 speed we can handle ABS is ferfact balance ride and handling.
Final Words i20 is good car to buy..its realy value for money. Comfort family car feature like sedan simple thing I will share here i20 1.4 spotrz vs swift ZDi.

Exterior Exterior looks are awesome.
Interior The front seats are awesome. The dashboard designs and the features you get(Asta) cannot be even compared to a 15lakh car. Glare free rear view, bluetooth compactibility, mirror folding, climate control ac, reverse sensor, keyless entry and star,They are just superb. But the back seats are not at all satisfactory. Space is less even , comfort.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Underpowered. Yet manageable. Fuel economy is decent if given due care.
Ride Quality & Handling I have few important words about handling. The handling and ride quality is good on roads, but the machine becomes uncontrollable when there is a little bit of sand on the road. If you brake on a road surface with sand, even if you have ABS, the vehicle just skids And slips.
Final Words Best in hatchback range, if they correct issues with the brake .
Areas of improvement Must improve brakes. The power allocation can be done even better. The drive on the first 2 gears only features car as an underpowered one.

Ride Quality & Handling As per vehicles of the same category .. but EBD does not work well on the rear wheels. which is very dangerous.
Final Words Not a satisfactory car! Other variants like Swift or Polo would be preferred.
Areas of improvement EBD, AVN. Hyundai clearly did not road test the AVN system! The system keeps hanging up and Hyundai is unable to provide a solution. Also the EBD in the rear wheels are really bad. In a condition where the front wheels dont have a good grip on the road, you will feel as if there are no brakes in the car at all. very dangerous and can cause accidents.

Final Words Extremely satisfied, highly recommended even petrol or diesel, mine is igen 6 montsh old bought in september 2012 white colour. Got music system fitted by a local dealer i needed a pioneer touch screen, infinity amp and jbl bass tube 1250watt. It shakes the world and my car too.
Areas of improvement DRL should be there even in era. even if i am ready to pay they dont install it in era. When I went to a nearby car dealer it was for rs-18500 that was insane. I can buy philips drl for even rs 7000, its not worth spending rs 18500 for drl.
