The front seat tilt mechanism for i10is given to the bottom left of the driver. Its also very prominent and smooth. If by accident while driving at 40 - 60 Kph, a child sitting in the back pushes the seat-tilt knob down (very easy to push), the driver already being pressed to the seat suddenly falls back. The consequences could be disastrous. This is the problem with i10, if you have a kid 3yrs - 5yrs of age and sitting in the back. The company is not willing to talk about rectifying this problem. Its not the rarity of it happenning but the certain possibility of it happening. If anybody has a kid between 3 - 5 yrs you will know the movement inside the car. My nephew wants to constantly shift from front to the back of car and viceversa every five minutes. The chances of accidently pushing this seat-lever down are very high. Also the dealers are not willing to talk abt a fix. If this one problem is fixed, I think its a good car. But I also need to see reviews on how the car performs uphill with A/c on. Further, the on-road price of 4.53 (Hyd) without any freebies is far higher for the engine capacity and pull. Body does not appear to be solid. But a lot is riding on the brand as Hyundai plans to launch i20, 30 etc on this engine.
Comfortable inside and very smooth drive, for a 1.1 engine, its very heavily priced. Chances are with 4 on board it will not pull up-hill
