I bought a sportz about 4 months back and have done about 3000 kms so far. I drove an alto before that. My initial infatuation for this pretty little stuff is giving way to some guarded optimism. No one will queston the fact that the biege interiors look beautiful but it is one difficult thing to maintain. I think the standard dark tops with areas of biege as in i20 is easier to maintain.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox.
A powerful engine for this small car means a good performance as far as pickup and speed is concerned. However in city driving you are rarely able to really use this feature. Kolkata roads are very poorly built and speed breakers and potholes abound thanks to our red brigade. There is excessive tyre noise on these roads and the bumpy unsettled drive actually makes you go slower. Sit in the back seat and you will tell the driver to go slow to avoid being thrown out of your seat in sone roads. I often see the much lower powered punto and fabia overtake me on these stretches. With power comes a responsibility, the need for good handling to really enjoy this power. I think my alto is much better in stability over successive humps than the i 10.
The gearbox is precise and i felt really good after the vague gearshift of alto. However the first and rear gears do not slot in easily and clutch tightening at service has only partially solved this problem. The fuel indicator is also erratic. In the initial months the fuel meter would take a long time to show full even after refilling. It was repaired at first service but nothing seem to have changed for a further two weeks. Then suddenly the meter was working okay. The fuel consumption is also shown irregularly. At 285 km it was showing half empty which really astonished me. Then suddenly at 430 km the low fuel indicator came up. Though it does not really matter since the car is maintaining an average of 13.5-14.5 kms in city driving.
I thought rattles was a maruti trademark but i started having a rattle in dasboard from 1000 kms whic could not be traced during service. So i have to live with the extra music besides the wonderful kenwood system builtin.

Not good like other this range car but its very good from inside. I liked the head lamps.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort)
The interior are very good. It is designed very well from inside. I read other i10 review also but i do not think that it have less boot space. Its comforable in good roads but its not comfortable in bad roads. i10 is not made for city driving.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox
The power is very less with A/C. Less fuel econommy. The engine is very good in long drive in NH roads. Gear box is stif but its ok. Ilike the gear box fitment of i10 magna1.2. The car is very smooth in 5th gear but in other gears car make some kind of sound.
Ride Quality & Handling
Handling is smooth and nice. Rear seats are not very comfortable.
Final Words
overall it a good small family car. Rear veiw mirror makes sounds. YOU CAN RELAY ON I10 BECAUSE IT IS MADE BY hyundai.
Areas of improvement
Back seat shoutd be improoved and needed some improvement like armrest, 3 head rest, front seat armrest etc.

Exterior Exteriors are good looking, turning radius and ground clearance are good.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Interior is good look-wise and convenience wise, A.C. cooling is most unsatisfactory.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Engine performance is satisfactory,great trouble in self starter (great starting problem),A.C. performance is too bad,fuel economy is worst.

Final Words MOST UNDEPENDABLE CAR,AFTER SALES SERVICE IS VERY BAD,FUEL CONSUMPTION TAXES THE POCKET HEAVILY.ACCORDING TO MY OPINION,NEW GEN I10 (KAPPA2) IS VERY DISAPPOINTING AND BUYING THIS CAR IS COMPLETELY WASTE OF MONEY.WE BOUGHT THIS CAR (NEW I10 KAPPA2) WITH GREAT ENTHUSIASM IN THE MONTH OF JAN.2011 BUT THE CAR TURNED OUT TO BE GREATLY DISAPPOINTING.WE GOT SO MUCH FED UP WITH REPEATED DEFECTS AND FINALLY WE WERE COMPELLED TO DISPOSE IT OFF AFTER ONLY 4 MONTHS AT A GREAT LOSS.

Exterior Of latey Hyundai has gone for Fluidic design for all of their cars. This holds good even for i10, from exterior you will surely not miss an i10 on road it surely will catch an eye and looks a class apart. Most beautiful are the headligts which curve outside and gives the car better look than before. also the ORVMs with the turn inicators look classy. The rear design of i10 is nothing will stand out but isn't bad either. Tail lamp cluster, the stop light at the rear spoiler and the Hatch door handle are nicely thought and crafted. The car surely is an eye candy.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Step inside the car and you will feel why i10 is talked so much for the interiors. Everything is smoothly crafted and put in place. The finishing is excellent. The cetral console holds the intergrated Music system with cool display and clock, the Air con controls carried from Santro but, doesn't look odd. The gear shift indicator really comes handy along with the numerous warning lights clustered in the driving console. Odometer has gone digital which looks good. There is a huge speedometer with a rev meter to enhance driving. Power window but are neatly put on the driver's door along with the ORVM knob, believe me this really is a handy package which has saved me from getting drenched for adjusting the ORVMs when it's rainly heavily. There are many cute small places to hold your water bottles, mobiles, book, newspaper. The glove box is reasonably big not great. Dashborad is really curvy which restarins you from keeping anything over there. Indica like dashboard would really have been handy.
Back seat is spacious enough to hold three adults, so the car is spacious enough. Even while I ma driving (I am 6 foot) none of the rear passengers have complained about the leg room.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Engine is definitely better than its predecessor. It is smooth and gives a decent amount of power output. At lower gears it lacks power but, nothing to be worried about. in traffic you need frequent shifting of gears, But with the i10 gear transmission you will never feel the problem. The best part of driving is the i10's Gear shift, it's smooth and accurate.Once in the 3rd gear you will be floating and you won't feel any engine vibration or noice even in the 5th gear till 80 Km\hr because that's is the max I have been pushed my car to :). Engine is so quite people walking on the road won't makeout unless you honk the horn.
. After a prolonged period of 10 months from the date of purchase I was able to calculate the Milage, I get 17.3 Kms/Ltr. For now I am satisfied with the fuel economy, as I drive in low gears. Engine doesn't guzzle away lot of fuel. I drive normally in the conjested roads and roads filled of pot-holes where shifting to 4th gear or above is a dream.
Ride Quality & Handling Ride quality is good in case of small pot holes and speed breakers. But in the case of huge pot holes car does feels bouncy and unsettle. Culprit are the small narrow tyres.
Final Words I had finalised on this car after some 6-8 months of planning and check out all the other cars in this segment. I left behind Santro, Eon, Wagon R, Alto, Ritz, Swift, Indica, Indica Vista, Beat, Spark, Brio and went for this and I have never Regretted my decision. Hyundai service is really nice with big bunch of friendly, helping people. As you look for a complete package this car still is the best in it's class.
Areas of improvement While driving in the tight spots you really cannot guess the front bumper, this is case in the most of the Small cars. But, I didnt get any other place there might be a requirement needed. And the dashboard where you can't keep anything.

today i testdrove uva for 30 misn an then i10 for 15 min.. really i was disappointed at i10.. its engine is noisy.. but it has great pick up. nice intertiors with cosole mounted gear. ac is good. suspension is ok. but but but price..!!!! 4.7 laks on raod with all accessories for magna!!!!!
aveo uva-base-- ride quality far better dan i10.. engine is incredibly silent. ac is good. pick up is not up to da mark.[i10 far better] very very spacious. comfortable..
price!! base model-on road 4.52lacs but insurance free. so 4.4. base wont hav powerwindows so powerwindows kit cost 12k.so again cost is 4.52. free mp3 player. dealer also gave also said free central lock n sunfilm.
so 4.52 lacs for bigger engine and bigger car than i10 wich is 4.7 on raod.
i think its better to go for uva [wich is better than i10 and at lower cost] than to go for i10 magna. may be i10era is worth.

I purchased the Hyundai i 10 on 26th December, hearing all the hype and hoopla. I think I should have waited for sometime more or should have relied on the Maruti stable only.
My i 10 is not performing up to the mark. There is problem with the reverse gear. They have not rectified the problem still after initial complaint and repeated complaints on the first servicing, citing, parts not available as yet. Moreover the lights on high beam are not good enough for a high end small car. Its beauty without brains. I wished the Hyundai fellows were bit proactive in rectifying the problem of their newly launched product. Not satisfied.

I am using i10magna since 2months. I liked thecar; Unlike other cars, you can't put 100/90 bulbs without making whole in the holder which probably creates problem-lot moisture in the headlight.Another problem is with the SHOCK ABSORBERS. give lot of noise-probably there is some problem with the Struts??.The dealer couldn't find this mistake on highways but when I ride the vehicle it is still there.Good mileage ranging from 12km/l in the city to 14.5-16km/l average.The cluttering sounds on bumpy roads make you feel uncomfortable.The service technicians need to look into it.Otherwise a good car.
