Exterior Its amazing, looking nice when being compared to the other cars.

 

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Thats wonderful but jus a little bit problem with back seat space.. but even though it is more spacious than other ones.

 

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox No doubt, its wonderful.. it looks very comfartable shifting in the car.. the fuel economy is again a plus point of this car making it a perfect vehicle.

 

Ride Quality & Handling Perfect.. it feels very smooth while driving it. the handling is very good. the quality of the power sttering is also amazing. in short its a perfect car to drive on the highways as well as in the city and even in the rural areas.

 

Final Words Its my dreamy car. I m enjoying driving it.

 

Areas of improvement Company knows better than me. but i think they can improve the look by making the interior more sporty in the look. or else it is superb. no one can beat i 10.

 

Engine power & peak up the mostnothing

 

Exterior I own the revised verson of i10 with the kappa 1.2 engine. The changes to the front grill, headlamps and all give the car a fresh look. It is as good as owning a newly launcehd car. Flip side was tiny tyres and lack of alloy wheels which I solved by upsizing the tyre size 175/70 R13 Michelin along with alloy wheels which makes the car a lot more agressive.

 

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Features are value for money as you cannot get such reliability and quality for the similar price band. The cabin ambience is of a class higher with necessary features and electrically adjustable rear view mirror makes your life a lot better. The floor mats and steering provided by the dealer was not even average, gear know was having an irritating grip. Replacing the said accessories plus a good air refreshner has made the interior even better. Really miss the foot rest.

 

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox The reason for choosing this car is for the kappa engine. It is appropriate for a tine family with frequent short travels and few highway trips. The engine gives you good confidence to overtake and gear box equally compliments the engine performance. I think my average mileage of 14.5 km/l is acceptable given the size of the engine. Over revving the engine can cause the mileage to drop considerably.

 

Ride Quality & Handling My previous vehicle was a maruti and when compared to that i10 is clearly superior in areas of ride quality and quality as a whole. Braking is one area where I feel a bit embrassed at times, when it comes to sudden brakes I get scared at times. Hyundai should consider ABS option for all its models.

 

Final Words Overall a good car. I congragulate Hyundai for coming up with such a winner and I also suggest that the company be a lot more strict with their dealers. I'm totally happy with the car but on the flip side totally embarressed with the dealer. Hyundai fails to match the Japanese in this purticular area which is why they are still winners in the premium segment. At the time of delivering the car I paid for Sony Audio system but the four speakers were of local brand, they didn't even took the pain to keep one duplicate (made in avinashi, Coimbatore). A slight show off at the show room scared the employees and got the original speakers fitted. They have the objective of cheating customers.

The poor chap at service thinks that the customer is there to serve him. He told me that the car will be ready by 3.30 and when i didn't showup by the time he called me up and said that I committed him on that time and why am I not there. As I don't have enough time to teach mannerism to the public, I requested him to hand over the keys to the security (it was a saturday) and the person obeyed it. Wow, never in my life I had such an experience. If you want to be pampered by service personnel, go buy a Honda or Toyota. They always mess up the alignment, never allow them to do that instead do it outside. Once the free service always stick to a reliable small scale workshop where the people will have some accountability.

• Excessive fogging of windshield during rain.

Exterior Good and smart.

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Acceptable. Small for a long drives, not so comfortable.

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox After driving for about 130 km in the city, had a trip out of Mumbai. Drove well on the expressway for sometime and then the car started giving some jerks and then the Engine failed at about first 250 km and again after about 30 km. On exp way,  first time started after 7,8 attempts but would die while shifting to drive, and then ran with same jerk at little intervals and stopped at arount 250 km Second time had to sit arount half hour with my family-one person 85 years old. Very dissappointed. It did start after and then no trouble. Scarry feeling and unreliable. With such an experience any other good points are of no count.

After returning to Mumbai called the dealer and the tech would not know what could be wrong. Said to bring it in if happens again. I have a trip ahead, just keeping my fingers crossed. Been driving for 0ver 40 years.

Ride Quality & Handling Handling is fine, obvious for a small car

Exterior Exterior is beautiful.

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Interiors for sportz model are excellent. Simply loved the inbuild stereo and excellent blue lighting. Plastic quality is also good. Leg space is OK for hashback category.

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Engine performance is good so far, Pick up is excellent , Gearbox was little tough but it became smooth after first service. First 1000 kms gave me mileage of 11. Dealer told me that it will increase after first and second service. Lets see

Ride Quality & Handling I enjoy riding it, inbuilt stereo is good. Spare parts are on little costlier side.

Final Words Nice car, Purely value for money .Was not convienced earliler by i10 but after having test rides for more than 10 cars of same category selected this and now I am happy with my decision so far.

Areas of improvement Should work more on fuel economy.

Smooth to drive, Good interiorsSpace is ok

After a long time research of two months final booked my car i10 & got the delivery last week . The cars i had tested were Tata vista, beat and swift. Found vista to be spacious car but the gear box was ver hard . Beat a smart looking car but with a family size of 5 when we went for a test drive rear seats were ver uncomfortable so had to drop beat from our check list. Then we went for swift - a good car but the visibilty for the people sitting in the the back is not good. Rear seats windows are very uncomfortable. Had also a bit issues with the brakes at speed above 70 km/hr. Then finally had a test drive of i10. Very comfortable, good pick up, excellent interiors. The best thing I found was the gear box.  

Have just driven 60 kms of i10 so cant make any comments right now. But i found its AC to be supercool on 1, gearbox excellent and the interior the best among all the other small cars. Very smoooth ride. Will definetly give my comments, views and feed back on crossing 500 km, 1000 kms and so on.

Exterior Vey super in its class n money.

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Very comfort in its seating. Its cool for 5 memebers and also some luggage. Its space also good wth compare to other cars.

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox I am very happy wth its Engine n pick up. The only thing I am Dissapoint is its Mileage.. I am getting 10kmpl in city n 14kmpl on Hiway wth 50% Ac on. The shifting of Gear has no Problem, but mainly in Reverse Gear i am having Some problem. I Suggest Company to rectify the proble.

Ride Quality & Handling Its Handling is Super in any roads.. N wht can i say abt Quality, now a days no company is giving perfect Quality.

Final Words I perfer my Frnds to have this car in any respect wth out any Hestitate, but just thing once on Mileage, so that U may not b sad aftr purchasing it.

Areas of improvement In my view Hundai Company has to improve its Mileage n be on its words for given Mileage in Papers n Advt.. So that customers have no problem in choosing their Brand cars in Future.

Final Words I just wanted to upgarde to I20, just approached Hyundai people, and shocked.

I've purchsed this in Sep 2010 Hardly 30 months old vehicle, 40K kms, no issues in engine / or any where, running smooth, purchased for 5.25 Lacs on road.

They said 2.3 LAcs to 2.5 Lacs MAx for this car. really upset by hearing this. They itself admit that their car has no resale value.

I love my i10 no doubts on that, but when I wanted to sellit off I knew the real value of the car. i made a market enquiry same 2010 swift(P) 3.5 LAcs even Maruthi 800 2005 Model 2 Lacs. Then why this hell hyundai sells this car in the market?

So comfortable, most of the features available for this budget.No Resale Value (Even in Hyundai Advantage)

After doing much online research it was Maruti Ritz (LXI) v/s Hyudai i10 to decide for me in out budget (4.5 to 5 lakh). But Maruti Ritz feels a bit "Over-priced". around 4.9 for LXI and if they give discounts may come down to 4.6. On the other hand Hyundai i10 is around 4.85 and discounts brings is down to 4.4 to 4.5 with additional features like "Power-windows, central-lock, power mirrors"  which you won't get in Maruti Ritz LXI even after giving more money. so finally it was a clear choice. And tell you its a good buy, go for it!!!

Exterior Exterior very good,  Very Balanced car as far as looks are concerned.

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Interior quality is good, You get features like central-lock, power windows in less than 5lakh which is worth compared to Maruti Ritz (LXI) which still feels a bit overpriced.

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Engine is superb, Fuel economy is 14-15 in city without A/C and only once i measured on highway goes upto 18 but still not accountable because i have total drive experience is just under, 2000 kms, so average might go upto 20 after you drive about 5000kms.

Ride Quality & Handling Ride quality and handling is excellent, specially gear-shift, power steering are great exp.

Final Words Its a good buy under 5 lakhs budget, No complaints in performance, good service too.

Areas of improvement A/C feels less powerful, also have impact on pick-up when turned ON, that might be improved. Boot space is less, would be great if ican be mproved.

Exterior Cool exteriors including the sophisticated headlights to the cute tail lights,good looking bumper and the quality is just superfine.

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort)Very good Beige interiors for luxurious look, lots of space a perfect 5 seater and of couse gear shift very comfortable seats having good amounnt of legroom and headroom perfect for long drives.

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Good engine performance,gives a 14 kmpl on city road and 16 to 17 with A/C on highways, no petrol car in this segment can give more to b honest. A CAR WITH GR8 PERFORMANCE AN ACTUAL VALUE FOR MONEY.

Ride Quality & Handling Smooth riding,perfect handling,no problem at all. KIND OF A CAR BETTER THAN SWIFT AND WAGON R. Rear seats are very uncomfortable for SWIFT and WAGON R Final Words.

Final Words Drive it to believe it and buy with ur eyes closed.!!

Areas of improvement The quality of interior should enhance . it get scraches easily.

Riding comfort, very comfortable back seats,Wagon R has horrible back seat journey.Can improve mileage, now i get 15 with A/C
