I have the 2016 Hyundai Creta 1.6 diesel SX and it has just clocked 1,00,000 kilometres and today I am here to give my review. my family was searching a big alternative after Maruti Suzuki Swift diesel. Creta was fresh at that time and held waiting period for over 2 months, we booked the SX diesel and got delivery within a month. from that day till now, the car drives like a gem and the fierce pull from the turbo is still exhilarating and shocks me every time with its punch. the 1.6 diesel is truly an all-rounder, delivers a stupendous punch, gives decent fuel efficiency, extremely reliable and very refined. after praising the engine, I would jump up to quality for which Hyundai is famous in India, every panel is fixed precisely and the quality feels solid. no flimsy plastics whatsoever and comprises spot-on ergonomics. space is in ample, never complain about that. the boot holds up to 400 litres in it and is enough for your weekly planned picnics. moving to the service quality, it has been a breeze as Hyundai service centres are decent enough to impress and service cost is also surprisingly affordable. Yes, there are some cons like the steering is lite on highways, the ride quality is a little bouncy and it is certainly a little overpriced too. overall, it might have lost its charm after the launch of MG hector and Kia Seltos, but all in all, after hearing the technical and mechanical problems with Seltos I can say if you want a car with a hassle-free experience and have the aim to keep it with you for a long time, I would suggest to go with the Creta. it still has its own game even today. You will also get some discounts because of market competition. hope this review helped you!
