Creta has clutch issues

I bought Petrol Creta 18 months back and have driven 26000km. It started rattling badly in first gear. I live in South Mumbai and use Creta sparingly. I have had cars for last 35 years. Dealer told me clutch is gone and get ready for 35000/-. I was shocked . I know few people in Hyndai and I was told that it is very common problem in Creta manual and automatic. Never imagined that it will have such serious issues so early. They don't say why clutch problem only in first gear. They cheekily admit the manufacturing fault but say company doesn't cover in extended warranty. It is shame. So if you buy get ready for very expensive maintenance of clutch replacement. At least 30% are having the issue.
