The car is spacious on the interior with all practical features available.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox
Engine performance is good. But, I have driven just about 900 km and the clutch has gone bad giving smell, and smoke at times. When I contacted the dealer and the company, firstly, they put the onus on me by telling that the clutch is a wear and tear part and its my driving habit that has led to the problem. Secondly, they don't have the courtesy to help me drive safely to the nearest workshop.

I would like the readers of my review to suggest me whether the clutch of a new car with a usage of just 900 km can go down because of driving habit and that too when a driver has an experience of over 35 years.

Exterior The exterior of the car looks really stylish and the arrow shot design is mind blowing
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) The interior of this car looks fresh and spacious. You feel like a king when you drive this car.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox The performance of the engine is good. Really smooth and gives you a comfort feeling when u drive.
Ride Quality & Handling The ride quality of this car is soo awesome and even the steering is well balanced and doest scare you when u cut the edges.
Final Words I would recomend you guys to go for it if u r looking for a good mid sedan. As I was soo happy and very much satisfied with this car. I'd taken my car for long drives plenty of times. Even drove all the way from mumbai to kerala and back in one stretch. Had no diffiulcties while driving also i was amazed by the performance of my car and ride quality and comfort.
Areas of improvement The main disadvantage of this car is only the ground clearence especially If u have 3 people sitting at the back. The bottom of the car always hits the speed breaker.

Exterior The exterior is amazing, especially since I bought the top end model (V), which comes with crome handles, ovrm mirrors etc and the Crome Grill makes you stand out from the crowd.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) The interiors are luxiours will ample space and the small chrome finishes on hand brake, a/c vents add some appeal to the interiors. The luggage space is huge and even after fitting CNG Cyclinder, you still have more space then many hatchback on road today.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox I have till now driven around 1800 Kms and the engine performace has been good. The fuel economy in city with petrol gives around 11 and with cng around 16. You must drive it to experience the smooth ride!
Ride Quality & Handling Ride quality is smooth. Handling is great at edges as well and braking also seems to have improved from the earlier versions.
Final Words Great Car. Go for it and if its CNG then you can just enjoy the ride without thinking too much on the amount.

Excellent looking car, Not over the top but good use of crome...
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort)
Excellent leg,head room both in front & rear, comfortabale seats, specially thigh support in the back seat. ORVM are very easy to control. However due to low seating of driver seat its hard to see the front ofthe car, which helps you navigate specially in tight city corners.
If you are buying Rs. 10 lakh car, you expect them to give you height adjusment & good thigh support in the driver seat. If you are going on a long drive & with a guy of my or higher height then after 3-4 hrs of driving you will feel pain/pressure in your calf muscles. My height is 5.10.
This one offer excellent ride quality/safety features which you will not see in its peers. Skoda/Vento base model doesnt have Airbag for pessangers.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox
Engine is smooth as silk under no condition you can hear the engine. I am done 12K in over 4-5 months but absolutly no issues in this department.
I am getting Fuel economy of 16.5 on city/highway (my office is 36 km from my house & half of the distance is on HW, hence combined average)
Ride Quality & Handling
If you have 3 heavy weights sitting in the back seat you need to be very careful & watchful for potholes/speedbreakers etc. Due to its ultra low ground clearence at time your car bottom will hit the road.
Final Words
Awesome car with 2-3 limitations. Easy to navigate & gives an excellent boost on hills/when you need sudden push.

Exterior Well best looker of all its competitor. It looks proportionate or shall I say look complete and balanced from all sides. Good body quality, heavy doors and those chrome at fron looks awesome.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Spacious interior, good supportive seats, meaty steering, decent audio system, effective & powerful AC though would have preferred one with ACC, very good plastice quality. Overall a place where one would like to visit again and again and will not be bored.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Engine performace is the main reason why went for this car. It is refine and quiet. It is a car for people who love driving, love speed and acceleration it will never dissapoint. at 4th n 5th gear keep pressing the accelerator and it will keep surging and that sporty snarls on revving... I love it.Since it is a high revving engine, it returns good economy if one is able to drive at about 2000 rpm in city. Best millege I have got with full tank is 12.8 KMPL and worst is 11.9 KMPL. Both this with 60% use of AC. Trust the eco lamp, if you're able to keep up then you can get a millege of 12.5-13.5 KMPL, same as what my i10 used to give. Gear box takes time to warm up, especially 2nd to 3rd and vice versa, not butter smooth as in i10 but smooth and crisp ... I like the sound it makes while changing gear.
Ride Quality & Handling Well tyre noise insulation is not great, and at low speed tyre noise filters in also at low speed it is a bit bumpy but once you're 60+ everything is very very quiet and ride is flat. Handling is very good for day to day city use occasional highway escapade. But yes not very great at cornering at high speed. At high speed the steering does feel lifeless at times and the grip of tyre is not confidence arousing but it does not fail you.
Final Words A true driver's car with a powerful, refined, frugal engine. Well put together car with very good exterior and interior build quality and good seats. 2 Air bags, ABS, EBD, BA, GCON well safety is fully loaded. Not to forget the Honda brand reliability, re-sale value and pricey (less than Huyndai though) but decent ASC. Considering all these I feel it is true VFM car for those who prefer petrol.
Areas of improvement Definetely ACC should be there, reduce road noise from tyre and may be introduce a 6th gear by adjusting the tall 4th & 5th gear, then it will be even more fun to drive.

Exterior Pretty good.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Sseats are good. Trims can be better.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Gear shift at times is hard, Mainly 2nd gear. Fuel economy : in city 10-12 Kmpl highway can reach upto 16+ km pl. Engine ride is really good and quiet. NVH can be better.
Ride Quality & Handling Visibility at times seems compromising. Genrerally the ride is good except the ground clearance.
Final Words Overall a good car, but should take care of a few critical pain points which I think are easily doable.
Areas of improvement Interiors can be far better. Ground clearance is horribly low. Likely to hit even on normal speed breaker when fairly laden. No reading / roof lamp for rear seat. Temp indicator is just an LED. Even entry level cars have temp indicators (analog).
Can you believe : Honda city fuel lead can be opened from outside without you authorising the same.

Exterior Great shape and looks good after addition of more chorme on the front in the 2011 model. The addition of 5mm vechile for ground clearance isnt doing any good on our speed breakers!
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Getting in & out is a bit of discomfort due to the low height of the vechile. May be a problem for older & heavier people. My rear seated passenger where complaning that they were not able to stretch their legs under the front seat. Thigh support is good in the front seats.
Engine Performance is great , Fuel Economy Drops to about 15 kmpl when you pass 100 on a highway. At about 80kms/ hr I got about 17.5 kmpl , fuel economy in city conditions could have been better. Gear Shift is smooth and easy.
Ride Quality & Handling Great ride quality but while turning the visiblity is poor. AC is quite effective but not in hot summer. Inside finish is far better when compared to lot other cars in the market.

Exterior Best in the segment. It is well proportioned. Front looks are very aggressive. Rear is well proportioned. Chrome finished grill is awesome.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Very comfortable seating and long drives are a pleasure. Controls are well placed. Plastic quality is very good .Plenty of front and rear space.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox No need to comment. Simply the best. When idle, cannot hear the engine hum. Smooth gear shifting.
Ride Quality & Handling Very predictable steering and nice suspension. You will not feel any discomfort while driving. Although the vehicle dimensions are big it is very convenient to drive.
Final Words Best petrol car in the segment.
Areas of improvement Although fuel efficency is good the tank capacity is less. It should be atleast 55 ltrs. Rear AC would be an added bonus. Service is recommended after every 5000 kms, which is too early. Service ceiling should be 10,000 kms.

Exterior The grill is very smart and overall smart looking car.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) There is lot of room in the cabin and even the boot space is big the seat covers are not good and even the leather quality and stitching around the gear is not very good.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Fuel economy is fair but engine is not very strong the engine should certainly be stronger.
Ride Quality & Handling The ride is very smooth but accelaration is not so great it does not have much body roll thats a good thing but torque is not much but ride wise its worth buying.
Final Words Its a good piece of kit and quite comfortable.
Areas of improvement If you are going to ride it on rough places you should not buy it even the ac needs to improve I certainly think they should keep a better radiator and make the engine strong.

Exterior The exterior of the car is really well designed and looks elegant. I have nothing more to say about the exteriors.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) The rear seat is the best in class and air con is good. There could have been more features like automatic climate control And speed sensing door lock. The ac is amazing and cools really fast. The boot space by far the best in the segment. The quality of plastics are really good and the cabin feels solid. Seats are really comfy on long journeys. The a pillar comes at a really bad angle and blocks visibilty,
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox This 1.5 litre i-vtec is the most refined motor and poeer delivery is linear. In the city we get 11-12 kmpl and on the highway we get 17-18 which is amazing for a car of this size. The gearshift is really slick and effortless.
Ride Quality & Handling The suspension setup is slightly on the stiffer side so you do get tossed around a little in the city but high speed stability is amazing. The handling is reaaly good. The steering wheel is light and easy to use at low speeds and weighs up well at high speeds. The ground clearance could have been better.
Final Words A very good car both in the city and out on the highway. The engine is an absolute gem and fuel efficiency is really good. It misses out on some features. Overall the honda city is the best car in its segment.
