      i am sharing my testdrive experience over here   hope it will help some future buyers in deciding....

      HONDA ACCORD:

      • i test drove HONDA ACCORD ELEGANCE BOTH AT/MT
      • my first feeling after having a look at the car was will i be able to drive it  in this crazy city traffic  the size of the car did baffle me completely (looks like of size of bmw 5series or e-class) but all that changed once i got into the car
      • The driver’s seat is supremely comfortable and is electrically adjustable
      • The next thing that surprised me  was  the phenomenal visibility for a car of its size. u know exactly where the front left corner of the car is I .the rear view is also good.The dash is fairly straight forward - has the usual rpm/speedo/fuel guage. There is a door indicator and a trip meter (a/b), the outside temp and the odometer with the usual warning lights. Couple of storage elements in the center (below the music console), front/rear of the gear lever and under the arm rest. One for glasses near the rear view mirror.The rear A/C vents are between the front two seats, no adjustment though.
        There’s traffic but I have already hit 60 and i felt instantly comfortable with car considering it was my first drive of an AT.The suspension isolates most bumps and pot holes easily and never did people sit on back complain and it is indeed was a very comfortable ride.on empty road  i put the car in sport mode and  still the car could handle pretty well touched about 100kmph at about 3600rpm   and could do turns and curves pretty well even at that speed  for its size and there wasnt much lag between paddle shifts
      • now i asked my cousin to drive while myself and my father-in-law who is6.1 in height sat at back  and  the back seat comfort was much much  higher   in it then it was  in camry  lots of space good amount of legroom,audio-based parking sensors the  the fuel tank capacity though is huge - 70L must come in handy for long drives for atleast 600kms.
      • finally 
      • OVERALL:ACCORD(AT/MTvsCAMRY(MT):
        LOOKS: camry scores 
      • INTERIORS: while both had almost the same kind of appeal but some how the quality of interiors was slightly higher in camry
      • SPACE INSIDE:camnry stands no where near when it comes to comfort  infront and rear especially  i think its best one  suited  if any wants a cheuffer driven
      • GEAR BOX:ACCORD scores   i could even change gears with my finger
      • RIDE AND HANDLING: didnt find much diffrence between the two  at low rpm  you need rev the engine more in either cars  and could handle bumps and pit holes very well the steering of accord felt more lighter then  camry
      • AUDIO: didnt give much attention to the quality of audio while my cousin said  camry was better. accord has 6 speakers ,there are seperate a/c vents at back as well in both
      • MILEGE: from few existing friends who own camry and accord said their camry (MT) is giving around 7-8kms  while ACCORD(MT) was giving 10kmpl

      went for BLACK ACCORD INSPIRE(MT) as it offersmuch better   back seat comfort then in camry as it  was one of our priorities  difference between ELEGANCE AND INSPIRE being body kit comprising of Front Skirts ,Rear Skirts ,Side Skirts , Boot Lid Spoiler and a different grill. and left out camry as didnt find much logic in spending almost 3-4 lakhs more  for a  somewhat better looking interiors and also  not the kind of comfort for people on rear as is in accord
      overall ACCORD a total VFM car 
      on  road price with extended warranty  20.1L
      DISCOUNT  25,000 rs and some accesories delivery expected in 10 more days

      great comfort,spacious,good visibility and perfect gear boxmilege ,no trip computer

      honda has always been associated with power. power as  is it should be ,introducin a new beast onthe road i.e 3 L V6.the car is equipped with massive engine which gives 220 bhp.wooooo big number for a car fanatic like me.this car has really big feel to it.it has kurl on matress like feel to it on road.rev this motor hard and you will see what i am talking about.it is capable on taking on the likes of bmw or merc supercharged kompressors.this car has good mid and high end range torques to it.so overtaking any car is very easy especially if you are stuckin tight  situations.the car has got a top speed of whooping 237 kph.it has good stay down feel to it esp on high speeds ,so it becomes very easy to throw the car across the corners.the ABS ,AIR BAGS add to the safety side of car.last but not the least you have the HONDA badge to it.what else can you ask for???????? big massive engine,big car feel,well appointed interiorscant find any

      Every once in a generation one product becomes a benchmark. Genius is really just total  of some common sense , and clever little innovations.

      I finally test drove the ALL NEW accord. Wow!!!!! nimble handling, very little body roll, great steering like,  I have never experienced before.The car is incredibly well made with lots and lots of clever features. It will not be possible to detail them all in this review. Other articles in the forums have detailed some of the features. I am sure other car companies are tearing up this accord and scratching their heads and wondering, how they were caught napping..

      The best part is that even though the car is actually bigger, it feels very much smaller from the drivers seat. Turns are precise. This is a drivers' car. I hit a decent pot hole and the car just soaked it in.

      Only negative is the front wheel drive. While I was starting on gravel,  I got the wheels to spin for a while.

      The other major negative is offcourse the price. Just imagine if we could get this at the 10 Lakhs or so that it actually costs.

      Wow!!Hats of to the Honda Engineers...The pain you have taken shows...

      Features that I liked:

      Steering- new variable gear ratio leads to better lane changing at high speed while giving adequate steer for turns.

      Suspension- Double wishbone front vs old mcphereson strut. I believe this allows better tire contact during cornering.

       Also the suspension geometry results in higher roll center. Combined with lower CG (10mm)they have reduced body roll.

      Braking: Much better due to anti dive nature of suspension geometry that causes the car to remain level in braking and not dip like those old cars and SUVs.

      Body: GCON - body designed to reduce "g" levels during impact by clever use of high strength steels(almost 40% of body). Also Body stiffness is higher by 20%. This meens the body will  react better to rough road and other road imperfections. This is significant.

      Airbags- Variable and will deploy in stages after sensing the impact level. Also highly developed side impact curtains. Effectively creates a cocoon for the passengers.

      Apillar reduced- By making the apillar thinner visibility is increased without impacting rollover strength.

      Interiors- Excellent.

      I was the first one to pick up the Accord 2008 in Bangalore. It is bigger in size, but dissappoints at various levels mismatching the comfort and amenities expected. Passenger side does not have Motorised seat. US editions have driver side Seat position memory, whereas the current one here doesn't. Stereo system is pits, tinny speakers with booming sound from the rear deck speakers. Imagine no steering wheel remote but you have USB input!  Leather quality could have been better. Battery capacity is only 65AH(I checked with Amaron, OEM supplier), far less for the Car power. Battery mount has lotsa space indicating a bigger battery can to be placed!
      When Accelerating (AT version) change of gears happen a bit slowly, which I was told due to drive by wire technology, this is with 91 octane, whereas with higher grade fuel, engine is smoother, so to save the engine, quality fuel is a must.
      Paddle shift does help to conserve fuel by upshifting in slow traffic, system does automatically downshift to retain the torque! Only one interior color choice is certainly a dissappointment. Imagine Beige interiors of a White CAR! Wood trims are good, but aluminum shows up in the wrong place on deck! It is indeed a great Pain to change the Music system, had to import the install panel from USA. Earlier accords had simple 2-DIN systems, which made replacement, upgradation very easy. Car manufacturers should remember that we buy their CARS not for the Music system but the rest of it. Hence Music system should be left to the choice of buyers with ease of installation. How can any car manufacturer repair-support their odd looking systems after 10 years? It is only going to send the costs upwards beyond belief. IT IS HIGH TIME CAR MANUFACTURERS STOPPED BLENDING THE NAVI-GPS-MUSIC-VIDEO SYSTEM INTO THE CONSOLE CONTOURS AND LEFT IT MODULAR FOR WIDER CHOICE OF PURCHASERS. If I want to install a Navi-GPS in next two years, it will be helluva experience as it was in case of my DVD Music System.
      Road Clearance is monumentally low, you can sure of Scraping every Hump in a Place like Bangalore.
      Fuel consumption on the AT is real bad, gives about 6 KM in City. Yet to check on high way!
      We do not have many choices here anyway, what with other Cars like Passat, Camry, Teana priced so darn high!
      Of course, in comparision, Accord is the best VFM in Indian terms. Driving is a Pleasure, Road handling is fantastic in tight places, with a bit of oversteering though, nevertheless, strain free. Great Driving experience despite the Huge Size!
      BIGGER THAN E-CLASS, FANTASTIC EXTERIOR SHAPE, GOOD ENGINENO STEERING CONTROLS, HARD LEATHER, NO DRIVER SEAT MEMORY, LOW ROAD CLEARANCE

      Hamm....well Honda Accord  V6 (HA-V6) is a best car you can get in a 20Lks price tag*...for the people who love to stress off the highway....throttle response is very good...Just the thing it lacks is the looks...just outdated compared to it's own Civic and ya many other in its class....then doesnt even give a shit in front of the Style statement TOYOTA CAMRY...but still 6Lks cheaper then CAMRY it hardly need a comparision...

      New HA-V6 2007 is much better in terms of  exterior as well as interiors....got a LED tail wit a build in rear spoiler with LED...Side indicators on the side mirrors give a 5star look to this meen power machine...interior gets a Civic touch...dual exhaust at the rear give it a sportier look...

      Overall if you have a budget of 20Lks...need a monster heart dressedup executive class with some aggressive sportier looks in bonus...you dont need to go any further....heres the V6 wating for you.

      Exterior The looks from the outside are just simply elegant on this car. It's massive & makes the C-class, 3 series & A4 look like the short heighted rivals.  

      Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Interiorwise, the car has the most comfortable seats. Front and the rear, even more. I own an A4 as well & when i'm in the back seat of the A4, i'm just dying to get out. The new Accord has plush interiors in all & is the kind of car that you'd love to drive or be chauffered in. Love the sunroof & the rear audio controls.

      Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox No doubt that it has a nice & throaty engine which is pretty powerful for it's class, as well. The only turn off is the fuel economy, which isnt too great but if you're a spender, why not!?

      Ride Quality & Handling The ride is smooth and it just feels calm & soothing. Bearly any cabin noise. And the handling is simply smooth and feather like, unlike its German Compertitors

      Final Words I honestly love the car, either when I'm driving it or when I'm being driven in it. 

      Areas of improvement Fuel economy, for sure.

      Looks, Style, Interiors, Massive Legroom, Powerful Engine.Fuel Economy, No Diesel options in Honda yet.

       Overall a very good car, but needs serious modifications just like CIVIC. ((The bad news is that 2008 Accord still takes a back seat on designing front but super to drive, driven in Hong Kong)). Very good to drive but lacks the excitement and they can definately use more metal on the car specially door quality is a little below expectations, the thunk is the sound Japenese should learn now from the Germans. Very cheap to maintain but very expensive to run, if you are looking for a good looking sedan with decent features quick on accelaration and beautifull handling this is the one to buy, but also get some petro cards for sure!!!!Very good designed car, fast, responsive and easy to handle even on higher speeds,Fuel consumption, front wheel driven, lacks excitement, lacks features in its segment,

      accord v6 has a good power but in its segment the car sucks.The car doesnt have a basic feature like rain censors for wipers,skoda laura 1.9td is way aheadof accord.accord doesnt have seat heaters,sun moon roof,no refrigerator(laura has two ref),i was quite disappointed when i saw it doesnt even have xenon lights in it ,then why the hell to pay 20 lakhs ,no memory seating feature in this car.LAURA has all these features just check out laura you will forget accord.luxury is equally important when we buy the car.

      Well this  car was always a hit as far its competitors were concerned.Mainly as ita a Honda always competievely priced if we see features-like 6airbags, ABS, EBD & Cruise control ,Rear A/c vents ,more spacious from previous versions ,Graet value of money if compared with competitors,Great power with paddle shift option in automatic version ,more comfortable as with new improved suspension system.

      What say this version is & will be a Hit.

      Heard about new V6 accord launching with 3471 cc & around 250 bhp & having VCM(variable cylinder management)in which car uses less cylinders whwn riding in normal less power condition(saves fuel) automatic only,very competive pricing around 24-25 lakhs.

      very Good looks both classy & sporty ,great value of money,Excelent safety & luxury features.pricing as far as previous versions
