      A sincere review from a two month user(delivered on November 2018) Literally a life threatening car. The incident so happen in the middle of railway cross.The engine would make a crashing noise and stop all functions. You have to wait for a couple of minutes to restart the engine. After a couple of repeating events I took it for service centre (EVM NISSAN,Perinthalmanna,KERALA) and they changed slip clutch point and programme And gave me assurance that it won't repeat.But the engine couldn't keep the promise and gave me a counted 7 times engine break down. 3 times in the middle of the road and i was saved due to my lower speed and absence of vehicles behind. Thanks to god. I took it to service station slow and steady by the edge of the road due to fear because tge problem is not periodic and comes anywhere anytime. Truthfully Redi-Go 1.0L AMT Two month user For further details.

      Exterior

       Good like beat from front and Daylight running lamp gives awesome look. from back car like girl in mini skirt 😎

      Interior (Features, Space & Comfort)

       interior is best as compared to kwid and alto 800. AC working properly. best dashbord in 800 class. space is more than kwid but not in boot space. comfortable car.

      Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox

       engine is noisy in first gear then similar like kwid, upto first 500 km car gives 15-16 kmpl overall mileage, but after 1000 kms i got 20.87 kmpl mileage overall. means including city traffic with  AC. with 4 people. Shifting from 3rd gear to 2nd is little hard.

      Ride Quality & Handling

       excellent ride and handelling is like just u r playing NFS :) valueable car.

      Final Words

       As i m an Mechanical Engineer,good car for small family 4-5 person. best option for kwid ,alto and eon

      Areas of improvement  

       Shifting from 3rd gear to 2nd.

      Its been over an year owning this car. i bought this car in august 2016. i am writing all the pros and cons that i have faced over an year.

      Exterior The exterior of this car is very promising with cool curves and very dynamic design makes is predominant then the cars of this segment. the ground clearance  is quite high and resembles a good muscular stance. low nose and curves bumpers also give it a nice aerodynamic advantages over kwid. 

      Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Inerior is quite standard like the cars of this segments but the color of my steering wheel has started comming off. the plastic is very light and vibrates a lot with jerks.specially the glove box side. the space is quite decent  also the music system panel needs more work in terms of quality of aux jack and buttons that does no illuminate at night. 

      Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Engine performance is good as you can not expect more from 800 cc engine. the engine is very noisy at the first start and the RPM of engine gets high automatically and then comes down gradually. it has not that good low end torque and the 1st gear is very jerky. with an electric accelerator the acceleration is not that smooth and power feels low on gradients. 

      fuel economy of the car is very impressive it goes to 22 kmpl on highways even with AC on and the cooling is very effective. Gear box is smooth and shifting is very easy.

      Ride Quality & Handling you can feel each and every pebble on the road when it strikes the cars mudguard specially rear side. sound proofing of the interior is very necessary. the suspensions are nice and responsive. but absence of front roll bar can be felt while driving. the steering is smooth as wine the electric steering is very stable at high speed and handing is awesome.

      Final Words Although its a good budget car in this segment but company can improve in terms of quality.

      cons.

      The door handles are low grade plastics and will come off easily.

      there has been a lot of problem with the lock system of the boot with my car specially.

      The locks are fitted with plastic holders that too low quality.

      Although its a nice city car and i cannot complain a lot in terms of materials with this price tag. its been really good having this car but the company has more to improve even if it costs increasing the price of the car.

      Good fuel economy , good body design, good electric steering.Negligible sound proofing, very low quality plastics for steering wheel.

      I had purchased Datsun redigo AMT 1.0 T at the end of July 2018. It was my first car so was a little skeptical at first. I needed an automatic transmission car which would fit in my budget price. So thought of few options at first but finally narrowed down between WagonR and redigo. Couldn't decide between them till the last minute. Took test drive of both. had noticed few things, both had high seating position with good road view, wagonR engine sound felt more powerful with more stable body but it's rear view mirror was too high up for my height but redigo's was at comfortable height, and steering in WagonR was little harder where as redigo had such a smooth steering with effortless turning. And definitely redigo was better looking with stylish design. So went ahead with it. had a great experience with the Lakshmi Nissan dealer in Hyderabad. Till date have done 3200 kms with mileage of around 17 in city traffic. Very happy with its performance & some of the features like Bluetooth phone and media connectivity etc. Breaks are very responsive.

      CONS- Few draw backs I noticed were there is some noise when a.c is turned on at high fan speed with car in initial gear. But It goes when fan speed is reduced or after car picks up speed. Fuel gauge shows slight misrepresentation of fuel tank showing lot less than actual content & definitely miss rear door power windows, adjustable side mirrors, rear wiper, etc but these can be overlooked considering the price. If u r thinking of car for personal use & city commute in low budget then definitely consider this.

      I already driven amt version approximately 20000 kilometer. Average mileage after 5000km is 21km/ltr. It offers Best ride quality in city as well as highway except initial pickup.

      1. Buying : Awsome 10stars. Staff is extremely helpful & friendly. 2. Riding : Amazing.(1 to 10) Ride height 9 GC : 10 at 185 mm CoG : Excellent for this budget car Handling : 9 smooth and comfy steering. T.Radius : 9 and easy to maneuver in narrow parking lanes. Tire size and 3 studs : 2 How much money Datsun saved with 3 studs. Difficult to find matching alloys. 3. Looks : 10 Seriously I bought this car for looks, Ground Clearance, ride height and unlimited engine warranty. 4. Performance : 8 Good for the price. This is my fifth car and I love to modify all my cars so I also modified this car with new new Audi A4 fully automatic ventilated seats with lumbar support and massage function. I did the modifications on engine to increase the pickup and efficiency of the car. Now this car is giving more fuel economy and at the same time pickup is enhanced more than double than the original version. I also put new alloy wheels which were difficult to find due to the three studded wheel hub. The new music system or we can call it infotainment system which has the 10 inch screen size with Android carplay and Google maps and also has a integrated reverse camera. It means you can play YouTube seamlessly from the system without touching your phone. And to add on to this I put components in front with heartz Tweeters and oval speakers with components at the rear of the car. the sound quality of the music system is unbelievable with clear sound of each and every instrument being played in the background Dolby surround effect. I drove it to Delhi and back without any fuss and hassle on NH1 and to increase the balance of the vehicle on high speeds I put a sports spoiler and 2 roof scoops and it behaves just like a mini sports car and pocket-sized powerhouse. For the new Audi A4 seats I have already ordered Italian Leatherette seat covers which comes in Ferrari. For lighting I have modified the lights by putting projector headlamps with high intensity diodes and daytime running lamps like a beemer. I have removed the rear reflectors and replace them with LEDs. For the front bonnet I put combination of red and black venile tapes to give it sporty look and unique insignia on the front portion of the bonnet. Pros : Ride height, ground clearance, centre of gravity, lowest turning radius, pick up and fuel efficiency and also unlimited engine warranty. Cons : 3 studded wheel hubs. not good for safety. closing of windows is bit harsh. below average music system in original version. no height adjustment for seats and steering wheel. breaking is very poor which is a major safety concern at high speeds. size of the disc can be increased to enhance the breaking. overall and excellent Japanese car for this price tag. but I must request the company e to look into the safety issues like ok breakage of the car and 3 studded wheel hub. also improve the quality of closing of windows.       No value for money. Worst aftr sales service. No follow up for service the vehicle. Mirror is pathetic. Dotten patches remains after washing the car. Showroom number no one is there answer. Sales person disappear after the sales

      This review is especially for the ones who wants to purchase the Standard Variant. Have ridden a few hundred kms, so happy till now, got the standard variant, so not to expect anything great either, but in short, a very good deal. After all it's a car. Dealer Support was a bit edgy as it took a while for the delivery, documentation took over a month which seemed a bit of a disappointment. Never the less, the purchase was good. Got the ABS/EBD variant Look wise: Awesome?????? way better than Maruti Alto 800. Why, let me tell you, more spacious, looks , plus height of the car. When you sit inside a Alto and Redi go, you can feel the difference, it can't be judged from the exterior, it actually has a good space and height as compared to the Alto, this is what I liked the most. Apart from that there is nothing more to be distinguished from as price of both the cars are neck to neck. Although Alto has become a bit more expensive after the upgrade, BSVI, ABS/EBD, Airbags, sleeker look, etc. But ai am overall happy with the Redi Go. Now coming to performance, pick up is very good , so is the gear shift. Remember it's only six months , so I am happy until I get something really bad from the car. Maintenance: No big deal so far as everything seems to be perfect. Has to wait until I see a major or some kind of problem in the car. I have heard that spare parts are normally not available, so that worries me the most. Once it goes to the service station, will have to wait wait for days or even months. The reason why Maruti is the best among the car lovers in India is only because of its Service where we needn't worry about any problems in the car as you can find any service station within few kms. This is not with Nissan or Datsun, although Datsun comes from a reliable name and technologies is Japanese, so it gets a thumbs up here over Alto. You can always rely on Japanese Technology when it comes to automobile. Again the child parts of Maruti is easily available where in Datsun, not possible. Thumbs down here. Engine sound is good, quite contrary to something negative which I heard before purchasing. The engine doesn't produce any big noisy sound which I have been forced to realize when I landed to the competitors of Redi Go. One of the major part is the maintenance, the spare parts are way costlier than Maruti Alto. Dashboard looks cheap, you have to work on it Datsun, Are you hearing? This is where I actually got disappointed a bit. Some sounds does came from the Dashboard when I switched the gears. When I went to show it to the service station guy, he managed to do something and the sound got stopped. He said when I go for the first servicing, he will fix it permanently. This is not something anyone would want from a new car. Pros Design and looks Height and space Pick up (4 out of 5) I could easily get the 100 mark with 5 people inside the cabin including me. Please guys don't ride fast , I just tested on Highway just to see the extent of the car, again that was just for a few minutes, after that I never touched 100. Ride at 50-70, you will feel the charm of this car or even any car. Cons Service Station Availability Service Spare Parts which is costly and non- availability of spare parts. Dashboard need to be worked on. Don't know if I got the one which had some issues with the Dashboard, otherwise, when I went for a test drive, everything was good. Will get back to you guys after one year. Let's see the review stands the same which I have posted now. ??????
