The ususal car. Nothing extraordinary to write about.

 

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) I purchased a 'beat'(mh03aw878) in march with high hopes for the automatic climate control.
All my hopes were dashed when I actually used it. Its very obvious that is was lifted straight from some european/american model and fitted here. It seems nobody bothered to test / use it in indian conditions and modify it accordingly.
Every time I start it, it starts taking in 'OXYGEN' and I end up smelling foul stench from the garbage truck ahead of me or smelling Carbon mono oxide from the truck beside me.
And if I dont use the 'AUTO' feature I end up setting the controls like any other 'NON AUTO' system.
Why does it have to look at the sun outside and then cool down? I want 22deg.C and thats it. The sun outside is irrelevant to the occupant's desired temperature inside.
Does the sunlight viewer take into account the sun control film installed on the windshield?

 

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox The fuel economy is not more than 14kmpl in my car on highways. In city conditions it is around 11. I wonder who is getting 19? Or is it just my car not functioning properly?

 

Areas of improvement The dealers need to train their employees. specifically SC auto in thane. They dont know the complete car until now.

 

Looks good. smooth to drive. Enough space. Steady at high speeds,Average much lower than advertised. auto climate control not indianised.
