Review after 2 yrs

Exterior I liked the look which was the primary reason behind the purchase

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Again good but nothing special.

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Good but not great, doesn't have the great power you'd hope for.

Ride Quality & Handling Decent.

Final Words Its a decent car, well actually a good car but the 5 series is nothing spectacular. I got a blue BMW 520D in Nov 2009. I have tried other 5 series & I have to say outside the BMW name the cars ain't that great. No it doesn't break down but if your going to spend the 50l(on road price now) then you better be getting something special. I have tried other versions of 5 series & again good but not great. Even the interiors are not that grand. Buy a Porsche 911 or an Audi A6 for better performance. If you have serious money to burn go for Mercedes SLK Roadster or maybe a Ferrari 458.
